Description
The present invention relates to a sewage treatment device, more specifically, not only the composition of a treated soil layer constituting a purification device for treating sewage by stacking soil blocks in multiple stages, but also the effective diameter and water content of true sand soil, and the treated soil layer. It is related to a sewage purification device that uses a soil block that can effectively remove BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus contained in sewage while increasing the amount of sewage treated by optimizing the hardness of the sewage. be.
The river maintenance centered on hydraulic control and water utilization so far has caused the loss of the self-cleaning effect of the river due to the decrease in the residence time of running water, and has caused damage to the river environment. On the other hand, river pollution is characterized by a large amount of water and a low concentration of pollution, so it is not economically realistic to treat the entire amount of rivers. Therefore, there is a gradual increase in demand for environmentally friendly water purification technology that can restore the self-cleaning capacity of rivers and maintain clean water itself.
Water quality purification technology using contact oxidation technology, artificial wetlands, artificial planting islands, etc. applied in response to this has advantages such as improvement of biological removal efficiency by planting and microorganisms and improvement of surrounding environmental efficiency. Since the structure itself may collapse during a flood, its function cannot be maintained sustainably. In order to overcome such a limit, a natural affinity type water purification method that can effectively utilize the basin space including surface water, groundwater, site, etc. is required.
From this point of view, the underflow purification device for the discharge water treatment of sewage, lake water, and sewage wastewater treatment device presented in Korean Patent No. 586494 and the purification treatment method using this are high water in rivers. It is hoped that a submerged purification facility will be constructed on the sewage and lakeside sites to improve water quality by planting plants and removing nitrogen and phosphorus as well as soil filtration, adsorption and decomposition of organic substances by microorganisms. However, in the above method, since the processing amount of the device absolutely depends on the water permeability coefficient of the soil layer, it is difficult to obtain the required processing amount when using soil with low permeability, and when it is operated for a long period of time. , Clogs occur and the planned processing amount cannot be secured.
To solve these problems, a multi-stage soil layer method was developed. According to the multi-stage soil layer method disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2004-154696, etc., the purification method is basically based on the use of soil, but the structure is improved and the inflow into the device. It is characterized by changing the flow of water.
Specifically, the soil is blocked in a certain shape, the soil layers are piled up in a brick pile in the target area or the reaction tank, and a water-permeable layer is formed between the soil layers to improve the permeability. In the case of such a method, there is an advantage that the treatment amount can be increased by utilizing the treated soil layer three-dimensionally.
The multi-stage soil layer is a method in which soil layers having a cross-sectional structure as shown in FIG. 14 are combined.
The upper part of the treatment tank has a structure in which a highly permeable water-permeable layer composed of single-grain crushed stone and a treated soil layer (soil block filled with mixed soil) with low water permeability but high purification capacity are combined in a brick shape. It is a method of treating sewage while infiltrating it downward with a sprinkler pipe. With such a structure, it was possible to dramatically increase the treated amount while maintaining the treated water quality by the conventional soil treatment method.
Further, Korean Patent No. 2015-0091815 presents a technique for removing nitrogen and phosphorus in sewage by forming a soil block with soil, an adsorbent, iron, alumina and the like and laminating the soil block in multiple stages. ing.
In this way, the water purification method using soil is developing in the direction of increasing the treatment amount and effectively removing various pollutants such as nitrogen and phosphorus contained in the sewage. At present, the method that has achieved the maximum treatment amount in the sewage treatment method using soil is the "soil block laminating method", which is the advanced technology of the multi-stage soil layer method. This construction method has acquired the ability to purify not only river water with advanced contamination but also sewage derived from all organic substances to the level of hydrophilic water.
However, in the sewage treatment method using a soil treatment tank in which soil blocks are laminated, in order to continuously treat sewage above a certain level, the core soil block must be manufactured correctly first and foremost. For that purpose, not only the composition of the substances forming the soil block but also the effective diameter of decomposed granite soil, the water content, the hardness of the treated soil layer, etc. must be taken into consideration.
The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and when constructing a purification device for treating sewage by stacking soil blocks in multiple stages, the composition of the treated soil layer constituting the soil block Not only that, the amount of sewage treated is increased by optimizing the effective diameter, water content and hardness of the treated soil layer, which is the base material of the treated soil layer, and the BOD contained in the sewage. It is an object of the present invention to provide a sewage treatment apparatus using a soil block capable of effectively removing nitrogen and phosphorus.

It has a vertically adjacent tubular soil block or a water flow layer placed between water flow blocks and has.
The tubular soil block is composed of a non-woven fabric spread on a tubular net frame and a treated soil layer provided in the tubular non-woven fabric, and the water passage block is provided in the tubular net frame and the tubular net frame. It is composed of a water flow layer in the net frame .
The treated soil layer is characterized in that the decomposed granite soil as a base material constitutes 70 to 80% by volume, and the effective diameter of the decomposed granite soil is 0.075 to 0.250 mm.
As a preferred embodiment, the decomposed granite soil has a water content of 11 to 14%. The hardness of the treated soil layer is 11.0 to 15.0 mm based on the Yamanaka standard hardness tester.
The sewage treatment device using the soil block according to the present invention has the following effects.
When constructing the treated soil layer of the soil block, by optimizing the composition of the treated soil layer, the effective diameter and water content of decomposed granite soil, and the hardness of the treated soil layer, the amount of sewage treated can be increased and the sewage can be treated. The contained BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus can be effectively removed.
The present invention presents a technique relating to a sewage treatment apparatus in which soil blocks are stacked in multiple stages.
The present invention provides a technique capable of increasing the amount of sewage treatment by optimizing the soil block and effectively removing BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus contained in the sewage when constructing the sewage treatment apparatus. Present.
The soil block according to the present invention is a block of a certain amount of treated soil layer. The amount of treated soil block and the removal of BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus by the soil block are determined by the composition of the treated soil layer, the effective diameter and water content of the true sand soil, the hardness of the treated soil layer, and the present invention is the composition of the treated soil layer. , Presents a soil block with optimized factors such as effective diameter and moisture content of true sand soil, hardness of treated soil layer.
The treated soil layer constituting the soil block according to the present invention is composed of decomposed granite soil, humus, charcoal, and pumice. Decomposed granite soil is a component that is the base material of the treated soil layer, and has the advantages of excellent water permeability and easy control of grain size.
Since humus provides a habitat for soil microorganisms and feeds on soil microorganisms, many microorganisms are attached to it. After a few months, the humus in the soil block is completely degraded by soil microorganisms, providing voids in the treated soil layer.
Pumice plays a role in regulating the water content of the treated soil layer. The pebbles have abundant voids, and when the treated soil layer becomes rich in water, a certain amount of water is stored in the pebbles, and when the treated soil layer dries, the stored water is released. The water content of the treated soil layer can be maintained constant. Due to the function of pumice stones, the phenomenon that decomposed granite soil becomes muddy can be avoided.
Charcoal plays a role of imparting permeability and breathability to the treated soil layer, and at the same time has decolorizing, deodorizing and dephosphorizing functions.
In constructing the treated soil layer with decomposed granite soil, humus, pebbles and charcoal, the total volume ratio of the treated soil layer is 70-80% for decomposed granite soil, 7.5-15% for humus, 5-10% for pebbles. It is composed of a composition ratio of charcoal 7.5 to 15%.
In the case of humus, if it is less than 7.5%, the purification effect by soil microorganisms is small, and if it exceeds 15%, voids due to humus are excessively formed and there is a risk of subsidence of the treated soil layer.
In the case of pumice stones, the addition ratio is determined in consideration of the daily sewage treatment amount (L / m 2 day) per square meter of the treated soil layer, that is, the unit sewage treatment amount (L / m 2 day) of the treated soil layer. 5% of pumice stone corresponds to the minimum value of the unit sewage treatment amount, and 10% of pumice stone corresponds to the maximum value of the unit sewage treatment amount.
In the case of charcoal, if it is less than 7.5%, the permeability and air permeability of the treated soil layer will decrease, and decolorization, deodorization, and dephosphorization will not function effectively, and if it exceeds 15%, the economy will deteriorate. ..
On the other hand, in addition to the decomposed granite soil, humus soil, charcoal and pewage, the local soil on which the sewage treatment device according to the present invention is installed can be a component of the treated soil layer, but in this case, the effective diameter of the local soil is It must be within the effective diameter range of decomposed granite soil. The effective diameter of decomposed granite soil will be described later.
In order to improve the amount of treated water in the soil block and the removal of BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus by the soil block, in addition to the composition of the treated soil layer as described in detail, the effective diameter and moisture content of decomposed granite soil and the hardness of the treated soil layer are required. Must be optimized. The effective diameter and water content of decomposed granite soil and the hardness of the treated soil layer according to the present invention will be described below.
First, the effective diameter of decomposed granite soil must be optimized.
When purifying sewage using soil, the main component of sewage purification is microorganisms, but the factors that determine the amount of sewage treated are the particle size and gaps of the soil. The permeability of the fluid passing through the soil gap is greatly affected by the particle size distribution of the soil. The effective diameter (D10) of the soil is a particle size corresponding to 10% of the passing mass percentage, and the hydraulic conductivity of the soil is determined by this effective diameter (D10). More precisely, the hydraulic conductivity of soil is proportional to the square of the effective diameter (D10).
The effective diameter of decomposed granite soil is primarily determined in consideration of the water quality to be treated, the planned treatment amount, and the unit treatment amount, but at the same time, the compounding conditions of the treated soil layer according to the present invention, the number of laminated soil blocks, and the soil It must be decided in consideration of the design conditions of the sewage purification device such as clogging. Therefore, the applicant conducted the experiment under the conditions shown in Table 1 below.
In Table 1 below, experiments were conducted by applying various effective diameters of decomposed granite soil under various sewage conditions such as the compounding conditions of the treated soil layer, the material of the soil block, and the number of laminated soil blocks. Table 2 below shows the optimum mass (%) of decomposed granite soil passed by the particle size found in the process of analyzing the data obtained through these experiments. Referring to Table 2 and FIG. 13, the particle size (effective diameter) of decomposed granite soil corresponding to the range of passing mass of 10% was 0.075 to 0.250 mm. Therefore, it is desirable to design the optimum effective diameter of decomposed granite soil to be 0.075 to 0.250 mm.
Next, the water content of the decomposed granite soil and the hardness of the treated soil layer according to the present invention were determined in consideration of the following matters.
The decomposed granite soil, which is the base material constituting the soil block of the present invention, preferably has a water content of 11 to 14%. If the moisture content of decomposed granite soil is less than 11% or greater than 14%, the decomposed granite soil, humus, peatstone, and charcoal will not be integrated (blocked) smoothly, and the treated soil layer will be treated through the moisture content of 11-14%. It is possible to secure a gap in the soil block that enables the movement of sewage as well as the unification of the soil.
Further, the treated soil layer according to the present invention is required to have a certain level of hardness. The hardness of the treated soil layer is obtained by compaction work of the treated soil layer. That is, hardness can be imparted to the treated soil layer by performing the compaction work in a state where the treated soil layer is filled in the soil block. When compaction work is not performed, that is, when the hardness of the treated soil layer is low, the treated soil layer sinks due to natural consolidation, and the sinking of the treated soil layer induces the sinking of the entire treatment tank including the water flow layer. do. Further, when the hardness of the treated soil layer is low, fine particles of the treated soil layer settle in the lower part of the soil gap and induce clogging. On the other hand, if the compaction is excessively performed and the hardness of the treated soil layer is larger than the standard value, the voids are crushed, the permeability and the air permeability are deteriorated, and the purification function is impaired.
In consideration of the above points, it is desirable that the hardness of the treated soil layer according to the present invention is set to 11.0 to 15.0 mm based on the hardness tester.
For the hardness of the treated soil layer, a hardness measurement method (Yamanaka type standard type) using a soil hardness tester can be used. After piercing the treated soil layer with a Yamanaka standard hardness tester, the hardness of the treated soil layer can be evaluated by checking the scale of the treated soil layer penetrated into the hardness tester. For reference, the Yamanaka-type hardness measuring method using the above-mentioned hardness tester is a method widely known in the field of measuring the hardness of soil.
The soil block according to the present invention has been described above.
Next, the sewage treatment apparatus to which the soil block of the present invention is applied will be described.
The sewage treatment apparatus using the soil block according to the present invention is classified into the first embodiment and the second embodiment according to the shape and arrangement of the soil block. In the case of the first embodiment, the soil block has a straight hexahedron shape, and the soil block in the second embodiment has a tubular shape (cylindrical shape). The effective diameter (D10) of decomposed granite soil used in the first embodiment and the second embodiment is 0.21 mm in both cases.
The sewage purification device using the soil block according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a
In the

Next, a method for producing a soil block according to the first embodiment of the present invention and a method for installing a sewage treatment device according to the first embodiment will be described.
In order to produce the soil block according to the first embodiment, a mixed soil to be a treated soil layer is prepared. The mixed soil is 70 to 80% decomposed granite soil, 7.5 to 15% humus, 7.5 to 15% charcoal, and 5 to 10% pumice, and the effective diameter of decomposed granite soil is 0.075 to 0. The condition of 250 mm and the water content at the time of mixing is 11 to 14% is satisfied.

<Experimental example 1: Experimental method>
Raw water was treated using the sewage treatment apparatus according to the first and second embodiments of the present invention, and the BOD removing ability, SS and COD removing ability, phosphorus and nitrogen removing ability, Escherichia coli removing ability and the like were evaluated. In the following description, the sewage treatment apparatus according to the first embodiment used in the experiment will be referred to as “
装置1の全体大きさは、W1.30×L0.80×H2.00mとして設計した。

原水は農業集落排水処理水を利用しその平均水質は、BOD20.0mg/l,SS10.0mg/l,T-P3.0mg/l,T-N18.3mg/lであった。
The raw water used was treated wastewater from agricultural settlements, and the average water quality was BOD 20.0 mg / l, SS 10.0 mg / l, T-P 3.0 mg / l, and T-N 18.3 mg / l.

<Experimental example 3: General items>
Regarding water temperature, pH and ORP, there was no significant difference between raw water and treated water.
The DO (dissolved oxygen amount) is higher in the treated water than in the raw water, and it can be seen that the inside of the device is in a sufficiently aerobic state. This is considered to be the effect of setting the air supply to the soil layer to 7.0 l / m 2 · min (4.2 l / m 3 · min) continuously for 24 hours.
<Experimental example 4: BOD removal ability>
Table 4 below shows the BOD removing ability of the
With reference to Table 4 and FIG. 3, the equipment was operated with a load of 7.5 m 3 / m 2 days for the initial 3 weeks, but both the 1st and 2nd equipment had BOD removal ability. It showed the same tendency and was stable. After that, the load was increased to 8.5 m 3 / m 2 days on September 13, and the experiment was continued for about 5 weeks, but the BOD removal ability was stably achieved at 2 mg / l or less, and the target value (5 mg / l) was achieved. l) is sufficiently cleared. Then, on October 16, the load was increased to 10 m 3 / m 2 days and the experiment was continued for 4 weeks, but the BOD removal ability was stably achieved at 2 mg / l or less, and the target value (5 mg / l) was achieved. Cleared.
Looking at the relationship between the temperature of raw water and the ability to remove BOD, the water quality load is 10 m 3 / m under the conditions where the air temperature and water temperature are relatively high and the biological activity of the soil is kept high from summer to autumn. On the 2nd day, even if the raw water BOD concentration exceeded 20 mg / l, the treated water was shown to be able to clear the BOD of 5 mg / l or less. Under the condition that the water temperature is lower than 15 ° C. in winter, the biological activity in the pretreatment tank decreases, and the raw water BOD concentration constantly exceeds the set value (20 mg / l). At the same time, the biological activity in the soil treatment tank was also reduced, resulting in exceeding the BOD target value of 5 mg / l for the treated water. However, under the condition that the raw water BOD is maintained at the set value of 20 mg / l or less, it is considered that the treated water target value can be cleared. In addition, the sewage treatment equipment is larger than the first and second equipment, and under the condition that it is buried underground, the buffering capacity against temperature changes from the outside world is larger than that of this experimental equipment, and this experiment is also conducted in winter. Purification performance that exceeds the results can be expected.
On the other hand, regarding the relationship between the load amount and the BOD removal ability, it was confirmed that the removal rate can be maintained at 90% or more even if the load amount increases from 7.5 to 10 m 3 / m 2 · day. After setting the load amount to 10 m 3 / m 2 · day, no significant effect was observed on the BOD removal ability for about 4 weeks until the end of November, and stable treated water quality was maintained. In December, the BOD removal ability began to show a tendency to decrease, which is considered to be mainly due to the decrease in biological activity due to low temperature.
<Experimental Example 5: SS and COD removal ability>
FIG. 4 is an experimental result showing the SS removal amount of the
According to FIG. 5, the CODcr (Chemical Oxygen Demand-Potassium Dichromate Method) of raw water has a large fluctuation due to temperature as in BOD in both
When the load amount and SS and COD removal ability were investigated, the removal rate was stable even when the load amount increased from 7.5 to 10 m 3 / m 2 days, similar to the BOD removal ability.

FIG. 6 shows the total phosphorus (TP) removal amount of the
From Table 5, when the load was less than 8.5 m 3 / m 2 · day, about 10 to 20% of T-P (total phosphorus) could be removed, but the load was 10.5 m 3 / m 2 ·. After increasing the number of days, the result was that it was hardly removed. From October 16th, the load was increased to 10 m 3 / m 2 days and treated for 4 weeks, and the load was reduced again and treated at 7 m 3 / m 2 days, but phosphorus was hardly removed. rice field.
<Experimental Example 7: Nitrogen removal ability>
The nitrogen removing ability of the
According to Table 6 and FIG. 7, when the nitrogen removing ability experiment for the
As shown in Table 6 and FIG. 7, the average removal rate of NH 4 is 89.4%, which is very high. This is because the average DO (dissolved oxygen amount) of the treated water is 7 mg / l or more, and the nitrate reaction is actively promoted under aerobic conditions in which the operating conditions of the
On the other hand, in order for nitrate nitrogen to be denitrified as nitrogen gas, the denitrification action by denitrifying bacteria (anaerobic microorganisms) must be promoted. A carbon source (hydrogen donor) required for nitrogen is required. Until the middle of the experiment, the requirements for denitrification were not met due to the aerobic environment and the low concentration of organic matter in the raw water. Therefore, nitrate nitrogen remained as it was, and the concentration of total nitrogen did not change so much. In the winter season in the latter half of the experiment, 10 to 15% of TN removal was observed as the air temperature and water temperature decreased, the raw water BOD increased, and the load increased by 10 m 3 / m 2 days.
The reason why the denitrification reaction partially progressed in the latter half of the experiment is presumed as follows. In winter, the concentration of raw water BOD increased due to the decrease in water temperature, and some of the remaining BOD that could not be treated was used as a hydrogen donor necessary for denitrification. Further, it is determined that the raw water SS is accumulated inside the
