Description
(i)陰イオンを含有する水溶液と、金属銀を含む作用極と、対極と、参照極とを具備し、前記作用極と前記対極と前記参照極が外部回路によって電気的に結合された測定装置を準備し、
(ii)前記水溶液に、前記作用極と、前記対極と、前記参照極とを接触させ、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I0を測定し、
(iii)前記作用極に代えて、前記作用極に電気的に接続された、グラフェン含有膜を前記水溶液に接触させ、ここで前記作用極と前記水溶液は直接的には接触させず、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I1を測定し、
(iv)(ii)における反応電流I0と(iii)における反応電流I1とを比較することによって、前記グラフェン含有膜の陰イオン透過性を評価するものである。
前記グラフェン層が、
(i)陰イオンを含有する水溶液と、金属銀を含む作用極と、対極と、参照極とを具備し、前記作用極と前記対極と前記参照極が外部回路によって電気的に結合された測定装置を準備し、
(ii)前記水溶液に、前記作用極と、前記対極と、前記参照極とを接触させ、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I0を測定し、
(iii)前記作用極に代えて、前記作用極に電気的に接続された、グラフェン含有膜を前記水溶液に接触させ、ここで前記作用極と前記水溶液は直接的には接触させず、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I1を測定したとき、
(iii)において、反応電流I1の曲線が、プラス電位側でピークを有し、
(iii)のプラス電位側の積算電荷量Q1が、(ii)のプラス側の積算電荷量Q0の20%以下である特性を有する。
まず、図1を用いて、第1の実施形態に係るグラフェン含有膜の陰イオン透過性測定方法について説明する。

(i)酸化グラフェンの水分散液中にアミン化合物またはヒドラジン、およびナトリウムボロハイドライド等を加えて還元し、それを銀を含む膜上にスピンコートして薄膜状にする、
(ii)酸化グラフェン薄膜をヒドラジンで加熱処理して乾燥させた後、PETフィルム上に転写する、
(iii)無置換グラフェン薄膜を窒素プラズマ中で処理して製造する、
(iv)アンモニア、メタン、水素、アルゴンの混合雰囲気下、銅基材にマイクロ波を照射し、プラズマを発生させる
のいずれかの方法で窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を製造することができる。
図2を用いて、第2の実施形態の一つに係る光電変換素子の構成について説明する。図2は、本実施形態に係る太陽電池セル20(光電変換素子)の構成概略図である。太陽電池セル20は、このセルに入射してきた太陽光L等の光エネルギーを電力に変換する太陽電池としての機能を有する素子である。太陽電池セル20は、透明電極201と光電変換層203の間に第1のグラフェン含有膜202を有する。また対向電極205と光電変換層203の間に第2のグラフェン含有膜204を有する。図2では2つのグラフェン含有膜を有する例を示したが、どちら一つだけを有してもよい。
(i)陰イオンを含有する水溶液と、金属銀を含む作用極と、対極と、参照極とを具備し、前記作用極と前記対極と前記参照極が外部回路によって電気的に結合された測定装置を準備し、
(ii)前記水溶液に、前記作用極と、前記対極と、前記参照極とを接触させ、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I0を測定し、
(iii)前記作用極に代えて、前記作用極に電気的に接続された、グラフェン含有膜を前記水溶液に接触させ、ここで前記作用極と前記水溶液は直接的には接触させず、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I1を測定したとき、
(iii)において、反応電流I1の曲線が、プラス電位側でピークを有し、
(iii)のプラス電位側の積算電荷量Q1が、(ii)のプラス側の積算電荷量Q0の20%以下であり、好ましくは15%以下であり、より好ましくは10%以下である。この比率が低ければ、陰イオンの透過性が低く、光電変換素子の寿命が長くなる。
図3を用いて、第2の別の実施形態に係る光電変換素子の構成について説明する。図3は、本実施形態に係る有機EL素子30(光電変換素子)の構成概略図である。有機EL素子30は、この素子に入力された電気エネルギーを光Lに変換する発光素子としての機能を有する素子である。有機EL素子30は、透明電極301と光電変換層303の間に第1のグラフェン含有膜302を有する。また対向電極305と光電変換層303の間に第2のグラフェン含有膜304を有する。図3では2つのグラフェン含有膜を有する例を示したが、どちら一つだけを有してもよい。
厚さ約100μmのPETフィルム上にITO(厚さ45nm)/銀合金(厚さ10nm)/ITO(厚さ45nm)の積層構造上にGraphenea社製酸化グラフェンの水溶液をスピンコートした後、水和ヒドラジン蒸気中で120℃で還元して窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を作製する。XPS測定から窒素原子の炭素原子に対する含有量は5%である。
酸化グラフェンの水分散液中に分岐ポリエチレンイミン水溶液を添加し、90℃で1時間加熱した後、水和ヒドラジンを添加し、さらに90℃で1時間加熱する。得られる混合物を12000rpmで遠心分離し、沈殿物を得る。沈殿物を水で再分散させた後12000rpmで遠心分離し、沈殿物を得る。この操作を2回行い、未反応のポリエチレンイミンと水和ヒドラジンを除去する。得られる沈殿を乾燥後、イソプロパノールで分散する。
厚さ約100μmのPETフィルム上にITO/(厚さ45nm)/銀合金(厚さ10nm)/ITO(厚さ45nm)の積層構造上に上記イソプロパノール分散液をバーコーターで塗布し120℃で乾燥する。XPS測定から窒素原子の炭素原子に対する含有量は12%である。この場合にはポリエチレンイミン由来の窒素原子が多い。IRスペクトルからグラフェンにアルキル鎖が結合している。
Cu箔の表面をレーザー照射によって加熱処理し、アニールにより結晶粒を大きくする。このCu箔を下地触媒層とし、アンモニア、メタン、水素、アルゴン(15:60:65:200ccm)を混合反応ガスとして1000℃、5分間の条件下、CVD法により平面状の単層窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を製造する。この時、ほとんどは単層の窒素置換グラフェン含有膜が形成されるが、条件により一部に2層以上の窒素置換グラフェン含有膜も生成する。さらにアンモニア、アルゴン混合気流下1000℃で5分処理した後、アルゴン気流下で冷却する。熱転写フィルム(150μm厚)と単層窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を圧着した後、Cuを溶解するため、アンモニアアルカリ性の塩化第二銅エッチャントに漬けて、単層窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を熱転写フィルム上に転写する。同様の操作を4回繰り返して多層窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を得る。
実施例2で得られるグラフェンのイソプロパノール分散液を厚さ約100μmのPETフィルム上に形成された平均直径40nmの銀ナノワイヤ塗布膜上にバーコーターで塗布し、塩化ナトリウムの濃度を1質量%である以外は実施例2と同様にして塩化物イオンの透過性を評価する。いずれも同一の条件(25mV/s)で測定する。この結果、グラフェン含有膜がある場合の塩化物イオンと銀の反応量はグラフェン含有膜がない場合に対して4%未満である。
図5に示す太陽電池セル50を作成する。
実施例2と同様に、酸化グラフェンの水分散液中に分岐ポリエチレンイミン水溶液を添加し、90℃で1時間加熱した後、水和ヒドラジンを添加しさらに90℃で1時間加熱する。得られる混合物を12000rpmで遠心分離し、沈殿物を得る。沈殿物を水で再分散させた後12000rpmで遠心分離し、沈殿物を得る。この操作を2回行い、未反応のポリエチレンイミンと水和ヒドラジンを除去する。得られる沈殿を乾燥後、イソプロパノールで分散する。
上記グラフェン含有膜上に電子輸送層としてC60-PCBMのトルエン溶液をバーコーターで塗布して乾燥させる。ポリ(3-ヘキシルチオフェン-2,5-ジイル)(以下、P3HTという)とC60-PCBMとを含むクロルベンゼン溶液をバーコーターで塗布し、100℃で20分乾燥することにより光電変換層を作製する。
窒素置換グラフェン含有膜503および507を作製しないことを除いては実施例5と同様にして太陽電池セルを作製する。得られる太陽電池セルは1SUNの太陽光に対して5%以上のエネルギー変換効率を示すが室外で一か月放置すると効率の劣化は80%以上である。
図6に示す有機EL素子60を作成する。
透明な有機EL素子を作成する。
窒素含有グラフェン含有層を作製しないことを除いては実施例7と同様にして有機EL素子を作製する。得られる有機EL素子1000時間連続運転すると出力は80%以下に低下する。
厚さ約100μmのPETフィルム上にITO(厚さ45nm)/銀合金(厚さ10nm)/ITO(厚さ45nm)の積層構造上にGraphenea社製酸化グラフェンの水溶液をスピンコートした後、水和ヒドラジン蒸気中で80℃で還元して窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を作製する。XPS測定から窒素原子の炭素原子に対する含有量は3%である。
厚さ約100μmのPETフィルム上にITO(厚さ45nm)/銀合金(厚さ10nm)/ITO(厚さ45nm)の積層構造上にGraphenea社製酸化グラフェンの水溶液をスピンコートした後、水和ヒドラジン蒸気中で60℃で還元して窒素置換グラフェン含有膜を作製する。XPS測定から窒素原子の炭素原子に対する含有量は2%である。
実施例2と同様に、酸化グラフェンの水分散液中に分岐ポリエチレンイミン水溶液を添加し、90℃で1時間加熱した後、水和ヒドラジンを添加しさらに90℃で1時間加熱する。得られる混合物を12000rpmで遠心分離し、沈殿物を得る。沈殿物を水で再分散させた後12000rpmで遠心分離し、沈殿物を得る。この操作を2回行い、未反応のポリエチレンイミンと水和ヒドラジンを除去する。得られる沈殿を乾燥後、イソプロパノールで分散する。

- グラフェン含有膜の陰イオン透過性を評価する方法であって、
(i)陰イオンを含有する水溶液と、金属銀を含む作用極と、対極と、参照極とを具備し、前記作用極と前記対極と前記参照極が外部回路によって電気的に結合された測定装置を準備し、
(ii)前記水溶液に、前記作用極と、前記対極と、前記参照極とを接触させ、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I0を測定し、
(iii)前記作用極に代えて、前記作用極に電気的に接続された、グラフェン含有膜を前記水溶液に接触させ、ここで前記作用極と前記水溶液は直接的には接触させず、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I1を測定し、
(iv)(ii)における反応電流I0と(iii)における反応電流I1とを比較することによって、前記グラフェン含有膜の陰イオン透過性を評価する方法。 - 前記作用極の形状が膜状である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記作用極が、前記作用極を前記水溶液に直接接触させないための保護膜をさらに有する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記陰イオンがハロゲンイオンまたは水酸化物イオンである、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 金属銀を含む作用極が、金属銀薄膜または銀ナノワイヤからなる電極である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 2つの電極とその間に設けられた光電変換層を具備し、前記2つの電極と前記光電変換層との間の少なくとも一方にグラフェン含有膜をさらに具備する光電変換素子であって、 前記グラフェン含有膜に含まれるグラフェン骨格にアルキル鎖を含有する置換基が結合しており、さらに前記グラフェン含有膜に含まれるグラフェン骨格の炭素原子の一部が窒素原子で置換されており、かつ
前記グラフェン含有膜が、
(i)陰イオンを含有する水溶液と、金属銀を含む作用極と、対極と、参照極とを具備し、前記作用極と前記対極と前記参照極が外部回路によって電気的に結合された測定装置を準備し、
(ii)前記水溶液に、前記作用極と、前記対極と、前記参照極とを接触させ、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I0を測定し、
(iii)前記作用極に代えて、前記作用極に電気的に接続された、グラフェン含有膜を前記水溶液に接触させ、ここで前記作用極と前記水溶液は直接的には接触させず、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I1を測定したとき、
(iii)において、反応電流I1の曲線が、プラス電位側でピークを有し、(iii)のプラス電位側の積算電荷量Q1が、(ii)のプラス側の積算電荷量Q0の20%以下である特性を有する、光電変換素子。 - 前記グラフェン含有膜に隣接する金属酸化物層をさらに具備する、請求項6に記載の素子。
- 前記素子が具備する電極が、金属銀を含有する、請求項6または7に記載の素子。
- 前記素子が具備する電極が、金属銀薄膜または銀ナノワイヤからなる電極である、請求項6~8のいずれか1項に記載の素子。
- 2つの電極とその間に設けられた光電変換層を具備し、前記2つの電極と前記光電変換層との間の少なくとも一方にグラフェン含有膜をさらに具備する光電変換素子の製造方法であって、
前記グラフェン含有膜として、
(i)陰イオンを含有する水溶液と、金属銀を含む作用極と、対極と、参照極とを具備し、前記作用極と前記対極と前記参照極が外部回路によって電気的に結合された測定装置を準備し、
(ii)前記水溶液に、前記作用極と、前記対極と、前記参照極とを接触させ、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I 0 を測定し、
(iii)前記作用極に代えて、前記作用極に電気的に接続された、グラフェン含有膜を前記水溶液に接触させ、ここで前記作用極と前記水溶液は直接的には接触させず、前記対極に対する前記作用極の電極電位を周期的に変化させながら掃引して金属銀と陰イオンとの反応電流I 1 を測定したとき、
(iii)において、反応電流I 1 の曲線が、プラス電位側でピークを有し、(iii)のプラス電位側の積算電荷量Q 1 が、(ii)のプラス側の積算電荷量Q 0 の20%以下である特性を有するものを選択することを含む、光電変換素子の製造方法。
