Description
第1の実施形態では、1つの周波数帯を利用してデータが伝送されるものとする。すなわち、図2に示す例では、920MHz帯、2.4GHz帯、5GHz帯のうちの1つを利用して無線通信装置2、3間でデータが伝送される。
通信パターンB:変調方式=QPSK、符号化率=3/4、復号繰返し数=15回
通信パターンC:変調方式=QPSK、符号化率=3/4、復号繰返し数=30回
通信パターンD:変調方式=QPSK、符号化率=1/2、復号繰返し数=5回
通信パターンE:変調方式=QPSK、符号化率=1/2、復号繰返し数=15回
通信パターンF:変調方式=QPSK、符号化率=1/2、復号繰返し数=30回
第1の実施形態では、受信器20において再送パラメータが生成される。これに対して第2の実施形態では、送信器10において再送パラメータが生成される。
第1~第2の実施形態では、各データ送信の伝送遅延がそれぞれ最小化されるように再送パラメータが決定される。これに対して、第3の実施形態では、1回または複数回のデータ送信に係わる伝送遅延の合計が最小化されるように再送パラメータが決定される。
第4の実施形態では、無線通信システムは、複数の周波数帯を利用してデータを伝送できる。図2に示す例では、無線通信システム1は、920MHz帯、2.4GHz帯、5GHz帯のうちの2つ以上の周波数帯を同時に利用してデータを伝送できる。
第5の実施形態に係わる無線通信システムは、CSMA/CAを採用する無線LANシステムである。また、再送パラメータは、受信器20において生成される。すなわち、再送パラメータは、受信器20から送信器10に通知される。

Claims (6)
- 第1の無線通信装置から第2の無線通信装置に符号化ビット列が送信され、前記第2の無線通信装置において前記符号化ビット列の復号が失敗したときに前記第1の無線通信装置から前記第2の無線通信装置に前記符号化ビット列を復号するための追加冗長ビットが送信される無線通信システムであって、
要求品質を満足する複数の通信パターンの中から、符号化率および復号繰返し数を含む複数のパラメータの組合せを表す1つ以上の通信パターンを選択する選択部と、
前記選択部により選択された各通信パターンについて、追加冗長ビットを利用して前記符号化ビット列を復号することにより前記第2の無線通信装置において前記復号が成功すると期待される前記追加冗長ビットの長さを表す送信データ長を算出する送信データ長算出部と、
前記選択部により選択された各通信パターンについて、前記送信データ長算出部により算出された送信データ長に基づいて、前記第1の無線通信装置と前記第2の無線通信装置との間の伝送遅延を算出する伝送遅延算出部と、
前記選択部により選択された通信パターンの中で前記伝送遅延が最小となる通信パターンに対応する再送パラメータを生成する再送パラメータ生成部と、を備え、
前記第1の無線通信装置は、前記再送パラメータに従って追加冗長ビットを送信し、
前記第2の無線通信装置は、前記再送パラメータに従って、前記追加冗長ビットを利用して前記符号化ビット列を復号する
ことを特徴とする無線通信システム。 - 前記再送パラメータは、前記伝送遅延が最小となる通信パターンに対応する送信データ長および復号繰返し数を含み、
前記第1の無線通信装置は、前記送信データ長に従って追加冗長ビットを送信し、
前記第2の無線通信装置は、前記復号繰返し数に従って、前記追加冗長ビットを利用して前記符号化ビット列を復号する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記再送パラメータは、前記伝送遅延が最小となる通信パターンに対応する変調方式、送信データ長、および復号繰返し数を含み、
前記第1の無線通信装置は、前記変調方式および前記送信データ長に従って追加冗長ビットを送信し、
前記第2の無線通信装置は、前記復号繰返し数に従って、前記追加冗長ビットを利用して前記符号化ビット列を復号する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記第1の無線通信装置から前記第2の無線通信装置に複数の周波数帯を利用して前記符号化ビット列が送信され、
前記選択部は、前記複数の周波数帯のそれぞれについて、前記要求品質を満足する通信パターンを選択し、
前記送信データ長算出部は、前記選択部により選択された各通信パターンについて、追加冗長ビットを利用して前記符号化ビット列を復号することにより前記第2の無線通信装置において前記復号が成功すると期待される前記追加冗長ビットの長さを表す送信データ長を算出し、
前記伝送遅延算出部は、前記選択部により選択された各通信パターンについて、前記送信データ長算出部により算出された送信データ長に基づいて、前記第1の無線通信装置と前記第2の無線通信装置との間の伝送遅延を算出し、
前記再送パラメータ生成部は、前記複数の周波数帯のそれぞれから1つずつ選択される通信パターンによる伝送遅延が最小となる通信パターンの組合せを特定し、特定した組合せに属する各通信パターンに対応する再送パラメータを生成する
ことを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記伝送遅延算出部は、再送回数の異なるケースについてそれぞれ合計遅延時間を算出し、
前記再送パラメータ生成部は、前記合計遅延時間が最小となる再送回数を特定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。 - 第1の無線通信装置から第2の無線通信装置に符号化ビット列が送信され、前記第2の無線通信装置において前記符号化ビット列の復号が失敗したときに前記第1の無線通信装置から前記第2の無線通信装置に前記符号化ビット列を復号するための追加冗長ビットが送信される無線通信システムにおいて使用される再送パラメータ決定装置であって、
要求品質を満足する複数の通信パターンの中から、符号化率および復号繰返し数を含む複数のパラメータの組合せを表す1つ以上の通信パターンを選択する選択部と、
前記選択部により選択された各通信パターンについて、追加冗長ビットを利用して前記符号化ビット列を復号することにより前記第2の無線通信装置において前記復号が成功すると期待される前記追加冗長ビットの長さを表す送信データ長を算出する送信データ長算出部と、
前記選択部により選択された各通信パターンについて、前記送信データ長算出部により算出された送信データ長に基づいて、前記第1の無線通信装置と前記第2の無線通信装置との間の伝送遅延を算出する伝送遅延算出部と、
前記選択部により選択された通信パターンの中で前記伝送遅延が最小となる通信パターンに対応する再送パラメータを生成する再送パラメータ生成部と、
を備えることを特徴とする再送パラメータ決定装置。
