Description
The present invention relates to an airless tire composite in which the joint portion between a wheel and a spoke of an airless tire is protected to improve the durability of the airless tire.
For example, an airless tire including a cylindrical tread ring having a contact patch, wheels concentrically arranged inside the tread ring in the radial direction, and spokes made of a resin material for joining the tread ring to the wheel has been proposed. (See, for example, Patent Document 1). In this type of airless tire, the adhesion between the tread ring and the spokes and between the wheel and the spokes are integrally joined based on the resin integral molding method or with an adhesive interposed therebetween.
However, when an actual vehicle is driven with an airless tire attached, for example, a sharp foreign object such as a stone, a piece of glass, or a nail bounced by another vehicle may collide with the side surface of the tire. If a foreign substance collides with the joint portion, the outer end portion of the joint portion may be scratched. This scratch can be the starting point for peeling at the joint. In particular, the scratches cause the ingress of water, which causes the peeling at the joint to grow, which can cause a decrease in the durability of the tire.
Such peeling is more likely to occur at the joint between the wheel and the spoke where the difference in rigidity is large.
The present invention provides an airless tire composite capable of suppressing scratches at the outer end of a joint between a wheel and a spoke due to, for example, a collision of foreign matter, and improving the durability of an airless tire. In the present invention, as described above, at least a part of the joint surface between the wheel and the spoke of the airless tire is covered from the side surface of the tire by a side guard. Therefore, it is possible to prevent sharp foreign substances such as stones, glass pieces, and nails from colliding with the outer end portion of the joint surface and being scratched during traveling. Therefore, it is possible to suppress peeling caused by this scratch and improve the durability of the tire.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
The
The
The
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The
The outer annular portion 3o is arranged at the radial outer end portion of the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
The
Therefore, a
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the outer peripheral edge 4Eo of the
The radial distance L1 from the outer
As shown in FIG. 3, the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
Further, in this example, the
The
Further, the
Since the
Although the particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment and can be modified into various embodiments.
