Claims (3)
- スポット溶接用電極チップの中心軸に回転軸心を一致させた状態で回転する回転ホルダに取り付けられ、該回転ホルダの回転動作時に当該回転ホルダに接近させた上記電極チップの先端部に接触して当該先端部を切削するよう構成されたチップドレス用切削カッターであって、
上記回転軸心周りの周方向に対して交差するように延びるすくい面部と、
上記電極チップを上記回転ホルダに接近させた際、上記電極チップの先端部に対向する逃げ面部と、
上記すくい面部に上記回転軸心と交差する方向に所定の間隔をあけて複数形成され、上記回転軸心に沿って延びて上記逃げ面部に開放する凹条溝部と、
上記すくい面部及び上記逃げ面部の連続部分に形成され、上記回転軸心と交差する方向に延びる切刃部とを備え、
該切刃部は、上記すくい面部及び上記逃げ面部の交差部分からなる第1領域と、上記凹条溝部の上記逃げ面部における開放部分の周縁部分からなる第2領域とで構成されていることを特徴とするチップドレス用切削カッター。 - 請求項1に記載のチップドレス用切削カッターにおいて、
上記逃げ面部は、上記回転軸心に沿って所定の間隔をあけて一対形成され、
上記各凹条溝部は、上記回転軸心に沿って延びて上記各逃げ面部にそれぞれ開放しており、
上記切刃部は、上記回転軸心に沿って対称となるように一対形成され、上記一方の切刃部が、上記すくい面部及び上記一方の逃げ面部の連続部分に形成される一方、上記他方の切刃部が、上記すくい面部及び上記他方の逃げ面部の連続部分に形成されていることを特徴とするチップドレス用切削カッター。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のチップドレス用切削カッターにおいて、
上記凹条溝部は、直線状をなしていることを特徴とするチップドレス用切削カッター。
