Light box 40 is arranged. The light emitted by the light emitting elements LD33a to LD33e for bar graphs is guided by the light box 40 and the corresponding segment portions 13a to 13d shine.

The control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33a when the remaining fuel amount is 60% or more. When the control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33a, the voltage (about 12V) of the vehicle-mounted battery BAT is stepped down to about 3V by the current limiting resistor R33a and supplied to the bargraph light emitting element LD33a, and the bargraph light emitting element LD33a lights up. The segment portion 13a shines white.

The control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33b when the remaining fuel amount is 40% or more. When the control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33b, the power of the vehicle-mounted battery BAT is supplied to the bar graph light emitting element LD33b via the power supply limiting resistor R33b, the bar graph light emitting element LD33b lights up, and the segment portion 13b shines white. ..

The control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33c when the remaining fuel amount is 20% or more. When the control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33c, the power supply of the vehicle-mounted battery BAT is supplied to the bar graph light emitting element LD33c via the power supply limiting resistor R33c, the bar graph light emitting element LD33c lights up, and the segment portion 13c glows white. ..

The control circuit 30 turns on the transistor TR33d when the remaining fuel amount is 10% or more. FIG. 4 shows the positional relationship of the light sources provided on the surface (the surface on the Fr side) of the circuit board 3.

The pointer light emitting element LD31a is arranged around a through hole H formed on the circuit board 3 through which the rotation axis AX of the pointer 2 passes.

The index scale light emitting element LD31b is arranged side by side in a curved line between a portion of the circuit board 3 facing the index scale portion 11 (immediately below the index scale portion 11) and the through hole H.

The light emitting element LD32 for the warning light is arranged at a position facing the warning light unit 12 of the circuit board 3 (immediately below the warning light unit 12).

The bar graph light emitting elements LD33a to 33e are arranged in a curved line at locations facing the segment portions 13a to 13d of the circuit board 3 (directly below the segment portions 13a to 13d). Further, the bar graph light emitting elements LD33a to 33e are arranged so that the anode terminal faces the through hole H side (one side) through which the rotation axis AX passes, and the cathode terminal faces the direction away from the through hole H (the other side). ing. By arranging in this way, the current limit that limits the voltage applied to the other light emitting elements (needle light emitting element LD31a, index scale light emitting element LD31b, warning light light emitting element LD32), and other light emitting elements. It becomes easy to wire the cathode side wirings K33a to K33e in a wider area than the anode side wiring A33 without being hindered by the region where the resistor and its wiring are provided.

FIG. 5 shows a cross-sectional view of the light emitting element LD33a for a bar graph and its wiring. The light emitting element LD33a for bar graph has a structure in which a metal lead frame LF1 which is provided with an LED chip C and serves as a cathode terminal and another lead frame LF2 which is an anode terminal are electrically connected by a bonding wire BW. There is. Since the LED chip C is provided on the lead frame LF1 side, the heat generated by the LED chip C is easily transferred to the cathode terminal side. That is, in order to efficiently dissipate and disperse the heat generated by the bar graph light emitting elements LD33a to LD33e, it is preferable to wire the cathode side wirings K33a to K33e over a wide area. Further, current limiting resistors R33a to R33e are connected to the cathode side of the bar graph light emitting elements LD33a to LD33e. The amount of heat generated by the current limiting resistors R33a to R33e increases with the amount of voltage to be stepped down. Therefore, in order to efficiently dissipate and disperse the heat generated by the current limiting resistors R33a to R33e, it is preferable to wire the cathode side wirings K33a to K33e over a wide area.
