Claims (5)
- 膜電極ガス拡散層接合体と、該膜電極ガス拡散層接合体を囲むフレーム部材と、該フレーム部材および前記膜電極ガス拡散層接合体を挟持する一対のセパレータと、を備えた燃料電池セルであって、
前記一対のセパレータは、反応ガスが供給または排出されるマニホールド孔を有し、
前記フレーム部材は、前記マニホールド孔に連通するマニホールド開口部と、前記膜電極ガス拡散層接合体が配置された面内開口部と、該面内開口部および前記マニホールド開口部に連通したガス流路と、該ガス流路および前記マニホールド開口部を囲うように前記一対のセパレータに溶着されたシール部と、該シール部と前記ガス流路との間に設けられ前記溶着により流動した前記フレーム部材の材料を受容するための受容部と、を有し、
前記ガス流路および前記受容部は、スリット状の貫通孔であることを特徴とする燃料電池セル。 - 前記受容部の一端は、前記マニホールド開口部に連通していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池セル。
- 前記ガス流路および前記受容部は、前記マニホールド開口部から前記面内開口部へ向けて延びるスリット形状を有し、
前記受容部の延在方向の長さは、前記ガス流路の延在方向の長さよりも短いことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の燃料電池セル。 - 前記ガス流路の延在方向に交差する方向において、互いに隣接する前記ガス流路の間隔は、前記ガス流路の幅に等しいことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池セル。
- 前記ガス流路の延在方向に交差する方向において、前記ガス流路の幅と前記受容部の幅とが等しいことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の燃料電池セル。
