Description
Claims (10)
- 光ビームを発するように構成された複数の光源(8)と、
細長い形状を有する複数の光学コア(10)であって、各光学コアは、対応する光源に光学的に結合されたそれぞれの第1の端部を有し、各光学コアは、使用時に、前記対応する光源から発せられた前記光ビームが前記光学コアの内部で誘導されて伝搬するように、さらに構成されている、光学コア(10)と、及び
スクリーン(20)と、
を含むディスプレイであって、
各光学コアは、前記スクリーンに光学的に結合されたそれぞれの第2の端部を有し、
前記ディスプレイは、対応する光学コア(10)を収容する複数のキャビティ(25)を形成する光学分離素子(22)をさらに備え、各キャビティ及び前記対応する光学コアは、対応する間隙(28)を形成し、前記対応する間隙及び前記対応する光学コアは、導波管を形成し、及び、前記光学分離素子(22)は、可視光を吸収し、各光学コアの少なくとも前記第1の端部を横方向に囲むように構成され、
平面形状を有し、前記光学コア(10)と単一部品を形成する、少なくとも支持構造体(12)を含み、前記光学コア(10)の前記第1の端部は前記支持構造体に接続され、前記支持構造体は、前記光源(8)に光学的に結合されている、ディスプレイ。 - 前記光学分離素子(22)は、対応する前記第1の端部を含み、かつ前記光学コア(10)の長さの少なくとも50%に等しい長さを有する、各光学コア(10)の部分を横方向に囲む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記光学分離素子(22)は前記支持構造体(12)と接触する、請求項1又は2に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記光学分離素子(22)の一部は、前記スクリーン(20)に面する表面(S22)によって範囲を定められ、及び、
前記表面の少なくとも1つの部分は、前記スクリーン(20)の対応する部分と同じ曲率半径を有し、前記スクリーンの部分は、前記表面の部分に対して正面に配置されている、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のディスプレイ。 - 各光学コア(10)の前記第2の端部が前記表面(S22)に通じる、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ。
- 各光学コア(10)の前記第2の端部が凸状である、請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のディスプレイ。
- 各光学コア(10)の前記第2の端部が粗い、請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか一項に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記光源(8)が平面上に配置されている、請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか一項に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記スクリーン(20)が湾曲している、請求項1〜請求項8のいずれか一項に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記光学コア(10)は、1.5mm〜2.2mmの直径を有する円筒形状を有する、請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか一項に記載のディスプレイ。
