Description
The present invention relates to a glass structure, a mold, and a method for manufacturing the glass structure.
As shown in FIG. 12, Patent Document 1 discloses a

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described, but the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. In addition, various modifications and substitutions can be added to the following embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention.
(Glass structure)
The glass structure 1 of the present embodiment has a first surface 3 as shown in FIG. 1A, and a second surface 5 which faces the first surface 3 in the wall thickness direction of the glass structure 1. , It is almost flat as a whole. Hereinafter, the wall thickness direction of the glass structure 1 is defined as the Z direction, and the directions perpendicular to the Z direction are defined as the X direction and the Y direction. The first surface 3 has a plurality of
When looking at the cross section of the glass structure 1, the
The arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of the
More specifically, the arithmetic mean roughness of the
Further, the arithmetic mean roughness of the portion of the first surface 3 other than the
When the cross section of the glass structure 1 cut in the wall thickness direction (Z direction) is viewed, the angle α formed by the facing
The convex aspect ratio obtained by dividing the
The recess aspect ratio obtained by dividing the
The plurality of
The plurality of
The
The arithmetic mean roughness of the second surface 5 is preferably 0.5 nm to 100 nm. Further, the second surface 5 has a groove portion 4 recessed in the same direction as the
The second surface 5 does not have to have the groove portion 4. Further, even when the second surface 5 has the groove portion 4, the step of removing the groove portion 4 of the second surface 5 may be carried out. In this step, the groove 4 can be removed by treating the second surface 5 by grinding, polishing, or the like. As a result, the second surface 5 becomes flat, so that good aesthetics can be obtained.
A print layer may be formed on the first surface 3, the second surface 5, and the groove portion 4. As a result, when the structure 1 is visually recognized from the second surface 5 or the first surface 3, the colors can be recognized, resulting in an excellent design.
A metal layer may be formed on the first surface 3, the second surface 5, and the groove portion 4. As a result, the metal color can be recognized when the structure 1 is visually recognized from the second surface 5 or the first surface 3, resulting in an excellent design. As a method for forming the metal layer, various methods such as plating and thin film deposition can be used. As the material of the metal layer, Al, Cr, Au, Cu and the like and alloys thereof are applied, but the material is not limited to this and any material is applied.
The glass structure 1 is not limited to flat glass as a whole as described above, and may be bent glass at least partially bent or bent glass as a whole. Further, the glass structure 1 may have a disk shape, an annular shape, a bottomed cylindrical shape as in Examples (see FIGS. 10 and 11) described later, and the like. That is, the shape of the glass structure 1 is not limited as long as it has a first surface and a second surface facing the first surface.
Such a glass structure 1 can be used for various purposes, but in particular, it is mounted on a transport aircraft such as an automobile, a train, a ship, and an aircraft, and can be preferably used. In addition, when used for interior parts of transport aircraft such as instrument panels, head-up displays (HUDs), dashboards, center consoles, shift knobs, etc., it is possible to give the interior parts a high degree of design and luxury, and the interior of transport aircraft. The design of the can be improved. Furthermore, the interior parts are durable against external impacts. In addition, since these effects can be obtained, it can be used for emblems, bonnets, exterior parts such as lighting covers, cover glasses for mobile products such as smartphones, and housings. Of the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 of the glass structure 1, either of them may be the outer surface of the assembly, that is, the surface on the side that the user touches under normal use conditions, but it is visible. From the viewpoint of improving the property, it is preferable to use the second surface 5 which is substantially flat as the outer surface of the assembly.
When the second surface 5 is a surface that the user touches, removing the groove 4 of the second surface 5 and flattening the second surface 5 by the process as described above is a viewpoint of aesthetics and touch. Is preferable. However, in this case, it is costly to remove the groove portion 4, and if the glass structure 1 is large, it is difficult to flatten the entire second surface 5. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, a
Further, when the first surface 3 is a surface that the user touches, the second surface 5 may be attached to the object by making the
The plate thickness of the glass structure 1 is preferably 1 mm or more and less than 10 mm, more preferably 2 mm or more and less than 8 mm, and further preferably 3 mm or more and less than 6 mm. The "plate thickness of the glass structure 1" means the thickness between the flat portion of the first surface 3 and the flat portion of the second surface 5.
As shown in FIG. 13, the pair of glass structures 1 may be arranged so that their first surfaces 3 face each other with a gap. When an adhesive or the like is applied between the pair of first surfaces 3, the pair of glass structures 1 are less likely to peel off, and glass scattering when broken can be suppressed. When printing is performed between a pair of first surfaces 3 as if a large number of colors are combined, or when a pattern such as Japanese paper or gold leaf is sandwiched between them, when the user observes from the second surface 5 side. In addition, excellent aesthetics can be obtained. If the unevenness formed on the first surface 3 is linear from the front to the back of the paper surface, the linear LED light source can be arranged in the
At least one of the main surfaces of the glass structure 1 may be strengthened in order to secure the required mechanical strength and scratch resistance, and the strengthening method may be physical strengthening or chemical strengthening. When the average thickness of the glass structure 1 is thin, the strengthening treatment by chemical strengthening is preferable. By chemically strengthening the glass structure 1, a compressive stress layer is formed on the surface thereof, and the strength and scratch resistance are enhanced. Chemical strengthening involves alkali metal ions (typically Li or Na ions) with a small ionic radius on the glass surface by ion exchange at temperatures below the glass transition point, and alkali metal ions with a larger ionic radius (typically). Is a process of forming a compressive stress layer on the glass surface by exchanging with Na ion or K ion). The chemical strengthening treatment can be carried out by a known method, and generally, the glass is immersed in a molten potassium nitrate salt. Potassium carbonate may be added to this molten salt in an amount of about 10% by mass. As a result, cracks on the surface layer of the glass can be removed, and high-strength glass can be obtained. By mixing a silver component such as silver nitrate with potassium nitrate at the time of chemical strengthening, the glass is ion-exchanged and has silver ions on the surface to impart antibacterial properties. Further, the chemical strengthening treatment is not limited to once, and may be carried out twice or more under different conditions, for example.
The glass composition of the glass structure 1 is not particularly limited, and examples of the glass that can be chemically strengthened include soda lime silicate glass, aluminosilicate glass, borosilicate glass, lithium aluminosilicate glass, and borosilicate glass.
In order to appropriately perform the chemical strengthening treatment of the glass structure 1, the total content of Li 2 O and Na 2 O in the glass composition is preferably 12 mol% or more. Further, as the content of Li 2 O in the glass composition increases, the glass transition point decreases and molding becomes easier. Therefore, the content of Li 2 O is preferably 0.5 mol% or more, preferably 1 mol% or more. More preferably, 2 mol% or more is further preferable. Further, in order to increase the surface compressive stress (CS) and the compressive stress layer depth (Dept of Layer: DOL), the glass composition of the glass structure 1 is 60 mol% or more of SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 . It is preferably contained in an amount of 8 mol% or more. The maximum value of the surface compressive stress on the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 of the glass structure 1 is preferably 400 MPa or more, more preferably 500 MPa or more, and preferably 600 MPa or more. The compressive stress layer depth of the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 is preferably 10 μm or more. As a result, by setting the surface compressive stress and the compressive stress layer depth within the relevant ranges, excellent strength and scratch resistance can be imparted to the first surface 3 and the second surface 5. The surface compressive stress and the compressive stress layer depth on the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 may be equal to or different from each other.

As a specific example of the glass composition of the glass structure 1, in the composition expressed in mol%, SiO 2 is 50 to 80%, Al 2 O 3 is 0.1 to 25%, and Li 2 O + Na 2 O + K 2 O is 3. Examples thereof include glass containing ~ 30%, MgO 0-25%, CaO 0-25% and ZrO 2 0-5%, but are not particularly limited. More specifically, the following glass composition can be mentioned. For example, "containing 0 to 25% of MgO" means that MgO may be contained up to 25%, although it is not essential. The glass of (i) is contained in soda lime silicate glass, and the glasses of (ii) and (iii) are contained in aluminosilicate glass.
(I) Composition expressed in mol%,
Next, a method for producing flat glass for producing the glass structure 1 will be described. First, the raw materials of each component are mixed so as to have the above-mentioned composition, and are heated and melted in a glass melting kiln. The glass is homogenized by bubbling, stirring, addition of a fining agent, etc., molded into a glass plate having a predetermined thickness by a known molding method, and slowly cooled. Examples of the glass forming method include a float method, a pressing method, a fusion method, a down draw method and a rollout method. In particular, the float method suitable for mass production is suitable. Further, continuous molding methods other than the float method, that is, the fusion method and the down draw method are also suitable. The glass member formed into a flat plate by an arbitrary molding method is slowly cooled and then cut into a desired size. If more accurate dimensional accuracy is required, the cut glass member may be chamfered or polished. As a result, cracks and chips can be reduced and the yield can be improved in handling in the molding process and the like.
The glass structure 1 is preferably formed into a predetermined shape from a glass base material having a planar shape or a curved surface shape. The forming method to be used includes a differential pressure forming method (for example, a vacuum forming method, a compressed air forming method, etc.), a self-weight forming method, a press forming method, and the like, depending on the shape of the glass structure 1 after forming. You just have to choose the method.
The differential pressure molding method is a method in which a differential pressure is applied to the front and back surfaces in a softened state of the glass base material, the glass base material is bent and blended into a mold to form a predetermined shape. In the vacuum forming method, a glass base material is placed on a predetermined mold according to the shape of the glass structure 1 after molding, a clamp mold is placed on the glass base material, and the periphery of the glass base material is sealed. To do. After that, the space between the mold and the glass base material is depressurized by a pump to apply a differential pressure to the front and back surfaces of the glass base material. In the pneumatic molding method, a glass base material is placed on a predetermined mold according to the shape of the glass structure 1 after molding, a clamp mold is placed on the glass base material, and the periphery of the glass base material is sealed. To do. After that, a pressure is applied to the upper surface of the glass base material by compressed air, and a differential pressure is applied to the front and back surfaces of the glass base material. The vacuum forming method and the compressed air forming method may be combined with each other.
In the self-weight molding method, a glass base material is placed on a predetermined mold according to the shape of the glass structure 1 after molding, the glass base material is softened, and the glass base material is bent by gravity to form a mold. It is a method of blending and molding into a predetermined shape.
In the press molding method, a glass base material is placed between predetermined molds (lower mold, upper mold) according to the shape of the glass structure 1 after molding, and the upper and lower dies are in a state where the glass base material is softened. This is a method in which a press load is applied between dies, the glass base material is bent, and the glass base material is blended into the dies to form a predetermined shape.
Of the above-mentioned molding methods, the differential pressure molding method is particularly preferable as a method for obtaining a glass structure 1 having a concavo-convex structure on the first surface 3. According to the differential pressure molding method, of the facing first surface 3 and second surface 5 of the glass structure 1, the second surface 5 can be molded without contacting the molding die, so that unevenness such as scratches and dents can be formed. You can reduce the defects. Therefore, it is preferable that the second surface 5 is the outer surface of the assembly, that is, the surface on the side that the user touches under normal use conditions, from the viewpoint of improving visibility.
Depending on the shape of the glass structure 1 after molding, two or more of the above-mentioned molding methods may be used in combination.
Various functional layers may be formed on the glass structure 1 on at least one of the first surface 3 and the second surface 5, if necessary. Specific examples of such a functional layer include an antiglare layer, an antireflection layer, an antifouling layer, and a decorative layer.
The glass structure 1 may be printed on at least one of the first surface 3 and the second surface 5, if necessary. As a result, aesthetics and concealment are enhanced, and an excellent appearance can be obtained.
(Anti-glare layer)
An antiglare layer may be formed on at least a part of the visible surface of the glass structure 1. The method for treating the antiglare layer (hereinafter, also referred to as antiglare treatment) is not particularly limited as long as it can form an uneven shape that can impart antiglare properties, and a known method can be used. As a method for treating the antiglare layer, for example, at least a part of at least one of the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 of the glass structure 1 is surface-treated by a chemical method or a physical method to obtain a desired surface. A method of forming a rough uneven shape can be used. Further, as a treatment method, a coating liquid is applied or sprayed on at least one of the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 of the glass structure 1 to deposit a film on the glass structure 1 to impart an uneven shape. It may be used as an antiglare layer.
Specific examples of the antiglare treatment by a chemical method include a method of applying a frost treatment. The frost treatment is performed, for example, by immersing the glass structure 1 to be treated in a mixed solution of hydrogen fluoride and ammonium fluoride.
Further, as antiglare treatment by a physical method, for example, so-called sandblasting treatment in which crystalline silicon dioxide powder, silicon carbide powder or the like is sprayed on the surface of the glass structure 1 with pressurized air, crystalline silicon dioxide powder, silicon carbide powder or the like. It is carried out by a method of moistening a brush to which the glass structure 1 is attached with water and using the brush to polish the surface of the glass structure 1.
Above all, the frost treatment, which is a chemical surface treatment, can be preferably used because microcracks are unlikely to occur on the surface of the object to be treated and the strength of the glass structure 1 is unlikely to decrease.
Further, it is preferable that at least one main surface of the antiglare-treated glass structure 1 is subjected to an etching treatment for adjusting the surface shape thereof. As the etching treatment, for example, a method of immersing the glass structure 1 in an etching solution which is an aqueous solution of hydrogen fluoride and chemically etching it can be used. The etching solution may contain an acid such as hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, or citric acid in addition to hydrogen fluoride. By including these acids in the etching solution, it is possible to suppress the local generation of precipitates due to the reaction between hydrogen fluoride and cation components such as Na ions and K ions contained in the glass structure 1. In addition, the etching can proceed uniformly in the treated surface.
When the etching process is performed, the etching amount is adjusted by adjusting the concentration of the etching solution, the immersion time of the glass structure 1 in the etching solution, and the like, thereby adjusting the haze value of the antiglare-treated surface of the glass structure 1. Can be adjusted to the desired value. Further, when the antiglare treatment is performed by a physical surface treatment such as sandblasting, cracks may occur, and such cracks can be removed by an etching treatment. Further, the etching treatment also has the effect of suppressing the glare of the antifouling treated glass structure 1.
At the site where the antiglare layer is formed, the average haze of the measurement site is preferably 40% or less, more preferably 30% or less, and further preferably 20% or less. When the haze value is 40% or less, the decrease in contrast is sufficiently suppressed.
As a method of applying a coating liquid to form an antiglare film, known wet coating methods (spray coating method, electrostatic coating method (electrostatic spray method), spin coating method, dip coating method, die coating method, curtain coating) Method, screen coating method, inkjet method, flow coating method, gravure coating method, bar coating method, flexo coating method, slit coating method, roll coating method, etc.) can be used.
Among them, the spray coating method and the electrostatic coating method are cited as excellent methods for depositing a film. A film can be formed by treating the glass structure 1 with a spray device using the coating liquid, and the glass structure 1 can be antiglare treated. According to the spray coating method, the haze value and the like can be changed in a wide range. This is because the uneven shape required to obtain the required characteristics can be relatively easily produced by freely changing the coating amount of the coating liquid and the material composition. In particular, the electrostatic coating method is more preferable.
In the electrostatic coating method, an electrostatic coating device equipped with an electrostatic coating gun is used to charge and spray the coating liquid. Since the droplets of the coating liquid sprayed from the electrostatic coating gun are negatively charged, they are attracted by electrostatic attraction toward the grounded glass substrate. Therefore, it adheres more efficiently to the glass structure 1 as compared with the case of spraying without charging.
As the antiglare treatment method, one type may be used alone, or two or more types may be used in combination. For example, the etching treatment and the antiglare treatment by a spray method using a coating liquid are usually carried out individually, but may be used in combination.
(Anti-reflective layer)
The configuration of the antireflection layer is not particularly limited as long as it can suppress the reflection of light. For example, a high refractive index layer having a refractive index of 1.9 or more at a wavelength of 550 nm and a refractive index of 1 at a wavelength of 550 nm. An antireflection film obtained by laminating a low refractive index layer of 6.6 or less can be obtained.
The high-refractive index layer and the low-refractive index layer in the antireflection film may be in the form of including one layer each, or may be in a configuration including two or more layers each. When two or more layers of the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer are included, it is preferable that the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer are alternately laminated.
In order to enhance the antireflection property, the antireflection film is preferably a laminate in which a plurality of layers are laminated. For example, the laminate may have two or more and eight or less layers in total. It is preferable that two or more and six or less layers are laminated, and more preferably two or more and four or less layers are laminated. The laminated body here is preferably a laminated body in which a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer are laminated as described above, and the sum of the number of layers of each of the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer is used. It is preferably in the above range.
The material of the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer is not particularly limited, and can be appropriately selected in consideration of the required degree of antireflection, productivity and the like. Materials constituting the high refractive index layer include, for example, niobium oxide (Nb 2 O 5 ), titanium oxide (TiO 2 ), zirconium oxide (ZrO 2 ), tantalum oxide (Ta 2 O 5 ), and silicon nitride (SiN). One or more selected types can be preferably used. Materials constituting the low refractive index layer include silicon oxide (SiO 2 ), a material containing a mixed oxide of Si and Sn, a material containing a mixed oxide of Si and Zr, and a mixed oxide of Si and Al. One or more selected from the materials containing the above can be preferably used.
From the viewpoint of productivity and refractive index, a layer having a high refractive index layer made of one selected from niobium oxide, tantalum oxide, and silicon nitride, and a low refractive index layer made of silicon oxide is preferable.
(Anti-fouling layer)
The antifouling layer is not particularly limited as long as it has water repellency and oil repellency and can impart antifouling properties, but can be obtained by curing a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound by hydrolyzing and condensing. It is preferably composed of an antiglare film such as a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film.
The thickness of the antifouling film is not particularly limited, but when the antifouling film is composed of a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film, the film thickness is preferably 2 to 20 nm, more preferably 2 to 15 nm, still more preferably 2 to 10 nm. When the film thickness is 2 nm or more, the film is uniformly covered by the antifouling layer, and can withstand practical use from the viewpoint of abrasion resistance. Further, when the film thickness is 20 nm or less, the optical characteristics of the glass structure after molding are good.
As a method for forming a fluorosilicon-containing organosilicon compound film, a composition of a silane coupling agent having a fluoroalkyl group such as a perfluoroalkyl group; a fluoroalkyl group containing a perfluoro (polyoxyalkylene) chain is used as a glass structure. A method of applying a spin coating method, a dip coating method, a casting method, a slit coating method, a spray coating method, or the like and then heat-treating as necessary, or a fluorosilicon-containing organosilicon compound is applied to the adhesion layer on one or the functional layer. Examples thereof include a vacuum vapor deposition method in which vapor deposition is carried out on the surface and then heat treatment is performed as necessary. In order to obtain a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film having high adhesion, it is preferably formed by a vacuum vapor deposition method. The formation of the fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film by the vacuum vapor deposition method is preferably performed using a film-containing composition containing a fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound.
The film-forming composition is not particularly limited as long as it is a composition containing a fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound and can form a film by a vacuum vapor deposition method. The film-forming composition may contain an arbitrary component other than the fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound, or may be composed of only the fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound. Examples of the optional component include hydrolyzable silicon compounds having no fluorine atom (hereinafter referred to as “non-fluorine hydrolyzable silicon compound”), catalysts and the like, which are used as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired.
When the fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound and optionally the non-hydrolyzable silicon compound are blended into the film-forming composition, each compound may be blended as it is, and the partial hydrolyzable condensation thereof may be carried out. It may be blended as a substance. Further, it may be blended in a film-forming composition as a mixture of the compound and a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof.
When two or more hydrolyzable silicon compounds are used in combination, each compound may be blended in the film-forming composition as it is, or each compound may be blended as a partially hydrolyzable condensate. It may be further blended as a partially hydrolyzed copolymer of two or more compounds. Further, it may be a mixture of these compounds, a partially hydrolyzed condensate, and a partially hydrolyzed copolymer. However, the partially hydrolyzed condensate and the partially hydrolyzed cocondensate to be used shall have a degree of polymerization sufficient for vacuum deposition. Hereinafter, the term hydrolyzable silicon compound is used to mean that such a partially hydrolyzed condensate and a partially hydrolyzed cocondensate are included in addition to the compound itself.
The fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound used for forming the fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film of the present invention is particularly limited as long as the obtained fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film has antifouling properties such as water repellency and oil repellency. Not done.
Specific examples thereof include a fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound having one or more groups selected from the group consisting of a perfluoropolyether group, a perfluoroalkylene group and a perfluoroalkyl group. These groups exist as fluorine-containing organic groups that are attached to the silicon atom of the hydrolyzable silyl group via a linking group or directly. As a commercially available fluorine-containing organosilicon compound (fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound) having one or more groups selected from the group consisting of a perfluoropolyether group, a perfluoroalkylene group and a perfluoroalkyl group, Afluid ( A registered trademark) S-550 (trade name, manufactured by Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.) or the like can be preferably used.
When a commercially available fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound is supplied together with a solvent, the solvent is removed before use. The film-forming composition used in the present invention is prepared by mixing the above-mentioned fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound with an optional component added as necessary, and is subjected to vacuum deposition.
A fluorine-containing organosilicon compound film can be obtained by adhering a film-forming composition containing such a fluorine-containing hydrolyzable silicon compound to the surface of the adhesion layer and reacting the composition to form a film. As for the specific vacuum deposition method and reaction conditions, conventionally known methods, conditions and the like can be applied.
(Colored glass)
When the glass structure 1 is used after being colored, a colorant may be added as long as it does not hinder the achievement of the desired chemical strengthening properties. For example, the colorant includes Co, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Cr, V, Bi, Se, Ti, Ce, Er, and Co 3 which is a metal oxide of Nd, which has an absorption band in the visible region. O 4 , MnO, MnO 2 , Fe 2 O 3 , NiO, CuO, Cu 2 O, Cr 2 O 3 , V 2 O 5 , Bi 2 O 3 , SeO 2 , TiO 2 , CeO 2 , Er 2 O 3 , Nd 2 O 3 and the like are mentioned as suitable ones.
When colored glass is used as the glass structure 1, colored components (Co, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Cr, V, Bi, Se, Ti, Ce, Er) are displayed in the glass in terms of molar percentage based on oxides. , And at least one component selected from the group consisting of metal oxides of Nd) may be contained in the range of 7% or less. If it exceeds 7%, the glass tends to be devitrified. This content is preferably 5% or less, more preferably 3% or less, still more preferably 1% or less. When giving priority to the visible light transmittance of glass, these components are typically not contained.
SO 3 , chloride, fluoride and the like may be appropriately contained as a fining agent when the glass is melted.
When chemically strengthened glass is used as the glass structure 1, the surface of the glass structure 1 may have at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium ion, silver ion, potassium ion, cesium ion and rubidium ion. preferable. As a result, compressive stress is induced on the surface and the strength of the glass is increased. Further, by having silver ions on the surface, antibacterial properties can be imparted.
From the viewpoint of improving designability, increasing strength, etc., the glass structure 1 is formed of a non-uniform material such as crystallized glass or phase-separated glass, as long as it does not hinder the achievement of desired chemically strengthened properties as glass for various purposes. It doesn't matter.
When white glass is used as the glass structure 1, glass that has undergone crystallization treatment or phase separation treatment by thermal process treatment can be used. By introducing crystals and phase-dividing regions into the glass by using crystallization treatment and phase-dividing treatment and utilizing visible light scattering by grain boundaries, white glass with high design can be obtained.
The colored glass is not limited to one type, and two or more types may be combined. For example, a glass obtained by thermally binding black glass and white glass can be used. This gives a contrast between white and black and is excellent in aesthetics. The combination is not limited to this, and glass having a desired color can be used.
The glass structure 1 may also be subjected to a function-imparting treatment or a functional film formation such as an anti-fog treatment.
A decorative member may be formed by arranging a light emitting member such as a display device or a light source on a glass structure 1 having an uneven structure on the first surface 3 or the second surface 5. Examples of the display device include FPDs such as liquid crystal displays, organic EL displays, and plasma displays, projection mapping, and electronic paper. As the light source, various light sources such as general light bulbs and LEDs can be used. In the example shown in FIG. 3, a planar
(Mold and manufacturing method of glass structure using the mold)
Hereinafter, a
Examples of the material of the
By molding the
As shown in FIG. 4, the flat
The
In order to prevent the
Since the
Here, the arithmetic average roughness of the portion of the
When looking at the cross section of the

The convex aspect ratio obtained by dividing the height 27H in the Z direction of the
The plurality of mold
Further, the plurality of mold recesses 29 of the present embodiment have substantially the same shape as each other, and the aspect ratios of the mold recesses are the same as each other. However, the plurality of mold recesses 29 may have different shapes and may have different recess aspect ratios.
Further, the mold
Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the
In this case, the radius of curvature of the
Further, the arithmetic mean roughness of the
More specifically, the arithmetic mean roughness of the bottom 29a of the
The
As described above, by molding the
(Example)
A method of molding the glass structure 1 having irregularities from the
The
The
The
After the

Here, a plurality of mold recesses 29 and

Both the glass structures 1 of FIGS. 10 and 11 have a plurality of

The results of measuring the cross-sectional shape of a part of this molded product are shown in FIGS. 14 and 15. From this measurement result, the curvature of the tip of the convex portion of the molded product was 0.9 mm, the surface roughness Ra was 28.5 nm, the aspect ratio was 0.38, and α was 106 °.

With respect to the glass structure 1 obtained above, the outer
The first surface 3, the second surface 5, and the end surface of the glass structure 1 may be surface-treated such as a metal layer, an oxide layer, an organic substance layer, and a printing layer. When the surface treatment is applied to the first surface 3, when the user visually recognizes the glass structure 1 from the second surface 5, it has a three-dimensional effect and excellent designability can be obtained. When the surface treatment process is performed on the second surface 5, when the user visually recognizes the glass structure 1 from the first surface 3, the surface treatment layer to which the transparency of the glass is added can be visually recognized, and a good appearance can be obtained.
In order to fix or reinforce the glass structure 1, a functional film such as shatterproof or improved fingerprint wiping property may be attached, or a reinforcing material such as a metal plate or a resin plate may be attached. ..
When a chemical strengthening step or a physical strengthening step is carried out on the glass structure 1, after the obtained glass structure 1 is chamfered, the first surface 3 and the second surface 5 are ground and polished, and the end faces and the like are chamfered. It is preferable to carry out a polishing process and a chemical strengthening process. By completing the outer shape processing before the chemical strengthening, it is possible to suppress a decrease in the strength of the glass structure 1 due to the outer shape processing after the chemical strengthening.
When the surface treatment process is performed on the glass structure 1, it is preferable to perform the surface treatment process after performing the chemical strengthening step and the physical strengthening step on the glass structure 1. As a result, warpage of the glass structure 1 can be suppressed.
