Description
Claims (17)
- 少なくとも一対のウエブ層を備えたウエブをボンディングするボンディングシステムであって、
前記ウエブに接触して超音波でボンディングするためのホーン表面を有する第1の超音波ホーンと、
ギャップを介して前記第1の超音波ホーンから離隔し、前記ウエブの加工方向への前記ギャップを通る移動を許容する第1のアンビルであって、前記第1のアンビルは、前記加工方向に対して直角である交差加工方向に延在するとともに、前記加工方向に離間し、その間に凹部を有する一対のシール面を備える、第1のアンビルと、を備え、
前記一対のシール面のそれぞれは、表面上に形成された複数の傾斜した歯部を備え、前記各傾斜した歯部は、前記加工方向に後縁および前縁を有し、前記複数の傾斜した歯部は、前記交差加工方向における前記ホーン表面の被覆を提供するように、前記加工方向に対して所定の角度Fでそれぞれ傾斜しており、
前記第1の超音波ホーンは、前記ウエブが前記ギャップを通って移動するときに、前記第1のアンビルと協働して、前記傾斜した複数の歯部に対応する複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングし、
前記一対のシール面は、第1の列に配置された前記複数の傾斜した歯部の、第1の部分を有する第1のシール面と、前記第1の列より前記加工方向の下流に位置する第2の列に配置された前記複数の傾斜した歯部の、第2の部分を有する第2のシール面と、を備え、
前記第2の列の複数の傾斜した歯部の前縁が、前記交差加工方向において、前記第1の列の複数の傾斜した歯部の後縁の間のギャップと同じ位置に配置され、前記交差加工方向における前記ホーン表面の完全な被覆を提供することを特徴とするボンディングシステム。 - 少なくとも一対のウエブ層を備えたウエブをボンディングするボンディングシステムであって、
前記ウエブに接触して超音波でボンディングするためのホーン表面を有する第1の超音波ホーンと、
ギャップを介して前記第1の超音波ホーンから離隔し、前記ウエブの加工方向への前記ギャップを通る移動を許容する第1のアンビルであって、前記第1のアンビルは、前記加工方向に対して直角である交差加工方向に延在するとともに、前記加工方向に離間し、その間に凹部を有する一対のシール面を備える、第1のアンビルと、を備え、
前記一対のシール面のそれぞれは、表面上に形成された複数の傾斜した歯部を備え、前記各傾斜した歯部は、前記加工方向に後縁および前縁を有し、前記複数の傾斜した歯部は、前記交差加工方向における前記ホーン表面の被覆を提供するように、前記加工方向に対して所定の角度Fでそれぞれ傾斜しており、
前記第1の超音波ホーンは、前記ウエブが前記ギャップを通って移動するときに、前記第1のアンビルと協働して、前記傾斜した複数の歯部に対応する複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングし、
前記一対のシール面は、前記アンビルに交換可能に固定されたアンビル挿入部の上に形成されることを特徴とするボンディングシステム。 - 前記第1の超音波ホーンと前記第1のアンビルとの間の前記ギャップを通って移動される前記ウエブは、使い捨て下着の複数の空白部分を一般的に画定する連続するウエブを含み、
前記超音波ホーンとともに前記一対のシール面の機能を介して形成される前記複数のボンディングポイントは、第1の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁に隣接する第1の側のシーム部と、前記加工方向に前記第1の側のシーム部から離隔し、第2の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁に隣接する第2の側のシーム部と、を含み、前記第1の使い捨て下着空白部分の前記外縁、および、前記第2の使い捨て下着空白部分の前記外縁は、互いに隣接した前記第1の側のシーム部および前記第2の側のシーム部を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のボンディングシステム。 - 第2の超音波ホーンと、
ギャップを介して前記第2の超音波ホーンから離隔し、前記ウエブの加工方向への前記ギャップを通る移動を許容する第2のアンビルであって、前記第2のアンビルは、交差加工方向に延在するとともに、前記加工方向に離隔し、その間に凹部を有する別の一対のシール面を備える、第2のアンビルと、を備え、
前記別の一対のシール面のそれぞれは、表面上に形成された複数の傾斜した歯部を備え、前記複数の傾斜した歯部は、前記交差加工方向における前記第2の超音波ホーンのホーン表面の被覆を提供するように傾斜しており、
前記第2の超音波ホーンは、前記ウエブが前記ギャップを通って移動するときに、前記第2のアンビルと協働して、前記別の一対のシール面に対応する別の複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングすることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のボンディングシステム。 - 前記第1の超音波ホーンおよび前記第1のアンビルの対と、前記第2の超音波ホーンおよび前記第2のアンビルの対の間の距離を選択的に制御するように、前記第1の超音波ホーンおよび第1のアンビルの対、または、前記第2の超音波ホーンおよび第2のアンビルの対のうち1つを加工方向に直線状に移動させるように構成された駆動装置をさらに備えること特徴とする請求項4に記載のボンディングシステム。
- 前記駆動装置は、前記使い捨て下着の複数の空白部分のサイズに基づいた所定の距離によって、前記第1の超音波ホーンおよび第1のアンビルの対と、前記第2の超音波ホーンおよび第2のアンビルの対を離隔させるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のボンディングシステム。
- 前記アンビルは、アンビル挿入部を含む回転式のアンビルを備え、前記アンビル挿入部は前記一対のシール面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のボンディングシステム。
- 前記第1の超音波ホーンおよび前記第1のアンビルの間の前記ギャップを通って運搬されるように、前記ウエブを前記加工方向に移動させる運搬手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のボンディングシステム。
- 前記運搬手段は、前記ウエブを前記加工方向に一定の速度で移動させることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のボンディングシステム。
- 複数のウエブ層を含む連続ウエブをボンディングする方法であって、
加工方向に移動速度で移動する連続ウエブを提供するステップと、
前記連続ウエブの経路に沿って、アンビルおよび超音波ホーンを提供するステップであって、前記アンビルおよび前記超音波ホーンは、前記連続ウエブの両側に位置し、前記連続ウエブが通過するギャップを提供するように離隔し、前記超音波ホーンは、前記ウエブに接触して超音波でボンディングするためのホーン表面を有する、ステップと、
前記連続ウエブが前記ギャップを通過して移動するとき、前記アンビルと共に機能する前記超音波ホーンを介して、複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングするステップと、を含み、
複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングするステップは、前記加工方向に対して直角な交差加工方向に延在するとともに、前記加工方向に互いに離間し、その間に凹部を有する前記アンビル上の一対のシール面を介して、前記複数のウエブ層をボンディングすることを含み、前記一対のシール面のそれぞれは、前記交差加工方向における前記ホーン表面の被覆を提供するように、前記加工方向に対して所定の角度Fでそれぞれ傾斜して表面上に形成された複数の傾斜した歯部の列を備え、前記各傾斜した歯部は、前記加工方向に後縁および前縁を有し、前記複数のボンディングポイントは前記傾斜した歯部の位置と対応し、
前記一対のシール面は、第1の列に配置された前記複数の傾斜した歯部の、第1の部分を有する第1のシール面と、前記第1の列より前記加工方向の下流に位置する第2の列に配置された前記複数の傾斜した歯部の、第2の部分を有する第2のシール面と、を備え、
前記第2の列の複数の傾斜した歯部の前縁が、前記交差加工方向において、前記第1の列の複数の傾斜した歯部の後縁の間のギャップと同じ位置に配置され、前記交差加工方向における前記ホーン表面の完全な被覆を提供することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記連続ウエブは、使い捨て下着の複数の空白部分を一般的に画定し、前記複数のボンディングポイントは、第1の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁に隣接する第1の側のシーム部と、前記加工方向に前記第1の側のシーム部から離隔し、第2の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁に隣接する第2の側のシーム部とを形成し、前記第1の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁、および、前記第2の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁は、互いに隣接した前記第1の側のシーム部および前記第2の側のシーム部を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記一対のシール面の前記第1のシール面は、前記超音波ホーンと共に機能して前記第1の側のシーム部を形成し、前記一対のシール面の前記第2のシール面は、前記超音波ホーンと共に機能して前記第2の側のシーム部を形成することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記一対のシール面は、前記アンビルに固定されたアンビル挿入部上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記アンビルは、1または複数のアンビル挿入部が固定された回転式のアンビルを備え、前記連続ウエブは、前記加工方向に一定速度で移動することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記アンビルおよび前記超音波ホーンは、第1のアンビルおよび第1の超音波ホーンを備え、前記方法は、
前記連続ウエブの経路に沿って、および、前記第1のアンビルおよび前記第1の超音波ホーンから下流に、第2のアンビルおよび第2の超音波ホーンを提供するステップと、
前記第2のアンビルと共に機能する前記第2の超音波ホーンを介して、複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングするステップであって、前記複数のウエブ層は、交差加工方向に延在するとともに、前記加工方向に互いに離間し、その間に凹部を有する、前記第2のアンビル上の別の一対のシール面を介してボンディングされ、前記一対のシール面のそれぞれは、前記交差加工方向における前記第2の超音波ホーンのホーン表面の被覆を提供するように、前記加工方向に対して所定の角度でそれぞれ傾斜して表面上に形成された複数の傾斜した歯部の列を備え、前記複数のボンディングポイントは前記傾斜した歯部の位置と対応している、ステップと、
を含み、
前記複数のボンディングポイントは、前記使い捨て下着の第2の空白部分の対向する外縁に隣接する第3の側のシーム部、および、前記第3の側のシーム部から前記加工方向に離隔し、第3の使い捨て下着空白部分の外縁に隣接する第4の側のシーム部を形成することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記使い捨て下着の複数の空白部分のサイズに基づいた所定の距離によって、前記第1の超音波ホーンと第1のアンビルを、前記第2の超音波ホーンと第2のアンビルから、前記加工方向に離隔させるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 複数のウエブ層を含む連続ウエブをボンディングする方法であって、
加工方向に移動速度で移動する連続ウエブを提供するステップと、
前記連続ウエブの経路に沿って、アンビルおよび超音波ホーンを提供するステップであって、前記アンビルおよび前記超音波ホーンは、前記連続ウエブの両側に位置し、前記連続ウエブが通過するギャップを提供するように離隔し、前記超音波ホーンは、前記ウエブに接触して超音波でボンディングするためのホーン表面を有する、ステップと、
前記連続ウエブが前記ギャップを通過して移動するとき、前記アンビルと共に機能する前記超音波ホーンを介して、複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングするステップと、を含み、
複数のボンディングポイントで、前記複数のウエブ層を超音波でボンディングするステップは、前記加工方向に対して直角な交差加工方向に延在するとともに、前記加工方向に互いに離間し、その間に凹部を有する前記アンビル上の一対のシール面を介して、前記複数のウエブ層をボンディングすることを含み、前記一対のシール面のそれぞれは、前記交差加工方向における前記ホーン表面の被覆を提供するように、前記加工方向に対して所定の角度Fでそれぞれ傾斜して表面上に形成された複数の傾斜した歯部の列を備え、前記各傾斜した歯部は、前記加工方向に後縁および前縁を有し、前記複数のボンディングポイントは前記傾斜した歯部の位置と対応し、
