As shown in FIG. 4, the vehicle body fixing portion 50 has a fixing hole 51 for fixing to the vehicle at a position deviating from the accommodating portion 20 (a position not overlapping with the accommodating portion 20) in the vertical direction. Stud bolts provided in the vehicle can be inserted into the fixing holes 51, and are fastened and fixed by bolts and nuts.

As shown in FIG. 5, the protector main body 11 of the present embodiment has reinforcing ribs 61 and 62 below the reinforcing portion 40 and the accommodating portion 20. The lower end portions 61a and 62a, which are the tips of the reinforcing ribs 61 and 62, are arranged in contact with the vehicle floor F to be arranged. When the lower end portions 61a, 62a of the reinforcing ribs 61, 62 are formed so as to extend to the same position as the lower end portion 50a (see FIG. 6) of the vehicle body fixing portion 50, and the lower end portions 61a, 62a, 50a are connected to each other. It is designed to form a plane. The vehicle floor F has a substantially horizontal flat surface at a portion corresponding to the lower end portions 61a, 62a, 50a, which are the tips of the reinforcing ribs 61, 62, and can be positioned by abutting with the lower end portions 61a, 62a, 50a. It has been done.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the lid body 12 extends from a substantially long plate-shaped upper bottom portion 71 and a side edge portion orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the upper bottom portion 71 in a direction substantially orthogonal to the upper bottom portion 71. It has a side wall 72 to be formed. The lid 12 is for closing the entire upper opening 24 of the accommodating portion 20. That is, the shape corresponds to the straight portions 25a, 25b, 25c and the bent portions 26a, 26b of the accommodating groove 23. In the present embodiment, the lid body 12 has a separate configuration from the protector main body 11. The side wall 72 is formed at a position other than the position corresponding to the reinforcing portion 40. That is, the reinforcing portion 40 does not interfere with the side wall 72.

The lid body 12 is provided with reinforcing portions 75 and 76 at positions corresponding to the lead-out portions 31 and 32 of the protector main body 11. The reinforcing portions 75 and 76 are configured to have a bottomed tubular shape like the reinforcing portions 40, for example, and secure the strength of the lid 12 itself.

Further, the lid body 12 and the protector main body 11 are maintained in a closed state by a plurality of lock mechanisms 80. The lock mechanism 80 has a lock claw portion 81 provided on the lid body 12 and a lock frame portion 82 having a substantially U-shaped cross section provided on the protector main body 11. The lock claw portion 81 is engaged with the lock frame portion 82 to maintain the closed state.

As shown in FIG. 4, each lock mechanism 80 (lock frame portion 82) is formed in two straight portions 25a and 25b and three in the straight portion 25c.
The operation of this embodiment will be described.

In the protector 10 of the present embodiment, a part of the reinforcing portion 40 of the protector main body 11 is located above the upper bottom portion 71 of the lid body 12. That is, when the occupant gets on the protector 10, it is received by the tubular reinforcing portion 40.

The effect of this embodiment will be described.
(1) The reinforcing portion 40 of the protector main body 11 can receive a part or all of an external force such as a load of an occupant acting from the upper side to the lower side. Therefore, it is possible to remove a part or all of the external force acting on the lid body in the past, and damage to the lid body 12 can be suppressed. Further, since the lid body 12 is suppressed from being damaged, the lid body 12 can be made relatively thin, which can contribute to the expansion of the internal accommodation space.

(2) Since the upper side surface 40b as the upper end portion of the reinforcing portion 40 is located above the upper bottom portion 71 as the upper surface of the lid body 12, external force can be reliably received by the reinforcing portion 40, and the lid body 12 can receive an external force. Damage is suppressed.

(3) The strength of the reinforcing portion 40 can be increased by configuring the reinforcing portion 40 so as to form a bottomed tubular shape. Further, since the inside is hollow, the weight of the reinforcing portion 40 can be reduced.
(4) Since a plurality of reinforcing portions 40 are arranged in a scattered manner with respect to the accommodating portion 20, the weight can be reduced as compared with the case where the reinforcing portions 40 are continuously present at the edge portion of the accommodating portion 20.

(5) By arranging at least a part of the reinforcing portions 40 alternately along the accommodating grooves 23, external force can be received by any of the reinforcing portions 40 arranged alternately, and the lid body 12 is damaged. It can be suppressed.

(6) Stable support can be achieved by arranging the lower end portion 61a of the reinforcing portion 40 and the lower end portion 62a of the accommodating portion 20 in contact with the vehicle floor F to be arranged.
(7) Since the protector main body 11 has the reinforcing ribs 61 and 62, the strength of the protector main body 11 itself can be ensured, and damage to the protector main body 11 can be suppressed even when an external force is applied.
