図1から図5を参照して、実施形態について説明する。本実施形態は、電線保護装置に関する。図1は、実施形態に係る電線保護装置を示す図、図2は、実施形態に係る遮断判定の説明図、図3は、実施形態に係る電線保護装置の動作を示すフローチャート、図4は、実施形態に係る電線保護装置の動作を示すタイムチャート、図5は、比較例の動作を示すタイムチャートである。

実施形態の変形例について説明する。電線保護装置1において、電源11側の電圧を調圧して負荷に供給する手段は、半導体スイッチング素子には限定されない。また、半導体スイッチング素子35は、MOSFETには限定されない。半導体スイッチング素子35として、他のスイッチング素子が用いられてもよい。負荷12は、ランプには限定されない。負荷12は、ランプ以外の電気負荷であってもよい。

Claims (2)
- 電源側の電圧を調圧して負荷に供給する電圧調節部と、
前記電圧調節部を流れる電流値から前記電源と前記負荷とを接続する電線の温度情報を計算する温度計算部を有し、前記温度情報に基づいて前記電圧調節部を前記電源と前記負荷とを遮断する遮断状態にさせる制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記電圧調節部が前記遮断状態である間に前記温度情報の算出に用いる時定数を第一の時定数とし、かつ前記電圧調節部が前記負荷に対して電力を供給している間に前記温度情報の算出に用いる時定数を第二の時定数とし、
前記第一の時定数は、前記第二の時定数よりも大きく、かつ前記電線の実際の時定数以上の値であり、
前記第二の時定数は、前記電線の実際の時定数よりも小さな値である
ことを特徴とする電線保護装置。 - 前記第一の時定数は、前記電線の実際の時定数よりも大きな値である
請求項1に記載の電線保護装置。
