Claims (6)
- (a)コネクタと、該コネクタが装着されるコネクタハウジングとを備えるコネクタアセンブリであって、
(b)前記コネクタは、導電性の端子と、該端子を収容する中間絶縁体と、該中間絶縁体を収容する導電性の外側導体とを含み、
(c)前記コネクタハウジングは、前記外側導体が挿入される外側導体挿入孔が形成された外側導体保持部と、該外側導体保持部の前方に形成され、前記外側導体挿入孔より大きな断面を有する前方外側導体収容空洞とを含み、
(d)前記コネクタは、前記外側導体に一体的に形成され、前記外側導体保持部の前面に溶接されたタブと、前記前方外側導体収容空洞内における外側導体保持部の前面寄りの部分に充填されたポッティング材とによって前記コネクタハウジングに固定されていることを特徴とするコネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記外側導体は、前記外側導体保持部の前面よりも前方の部分に形成された複数のスリットを含み、前記外側導体の内側及び外側に充填されたポッティング材は、前記スリットを通って互いに連結されている請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記中間絶縁体の前面は、前記タブより後方に位置し、前記ポッティング材は、前記外側導体の内側における中間絶縁体の前面より前方の部分にも充填されている請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記外側導体に、前記ポッティング材の溜まり部が形成されている請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記端子の中間絶縁体の前面より前方の部分には、前記ポッティング材によって係止されるアンカー部が形成されている請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記外側導体は湾曲板から成る概略円筒状の部材である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
