Conventionally, in a radiotherapy system that treats a target site (for example, a tumor) in a subject by irradiating the target site with radiation such as X-rays, the position and size of the target site in the subject, etc. A treatment plan is made based on. For example, in a treatment plan, the irradiation position, irradiation area, irradiation direction, irradiation method, etc. of the target site are determined based on the medical image data of the target site collected by a medical image diagnostic device such as an X-ray CT device. Planned.
Further, the radiation therapy system has an interference check function for checking whether or not interference between the device and the subject occurs when the irradiation planned in the treatment plan is executed. For example, the interference check function includes an irradiation device that irradiates radiation for radiotherapy and a medical image collection device that collects medical images for correcting the position of a subject (for example, a kV imaging device for Cone-Beam CT). And check for interference with the subject.
An object to be solved by the present invention is to provide an interference determination device and an interference determination method that can prevent interference in an apparatus related to radiotherapy and a subject.
The interference determination device of the embodiment includes a calculation unit, a determination unit, and a display control unit. The calculation unit calculates the movable procedure from the current state to the predetermined state of the plurality of movable parts that move to irradiate the treatment site of the subject with radiation. The determination unit determines whether or not there is interference between the plurality of movable parts, the subject, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation when the plurality of movable parts are moved by the movable procedure calculated by the calculation unit. The display control unit displays the determination result determined by the determination unit in association with the movable procedure.
Hereinafter, the interference determination device and the interference determination method according to the embodiment will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following embodiment, a radiotherapy system including an interference determination device will be described as an example. Further, the interference determination device and the interference determination method according to the present application are not limited to the embodiments shown below.
(First Embodiment)
First, an example of the configuration of the
The
The
In addition, the
The
The
The
Here, the movable part means, for example, a part whose position changes due to rotational movement, parallel movement, or the like among the parts constituting the
In the following, information on the structure and movable range of the movable part and information on the structure of the device related to radiation irradiation are also simply described as mechanical structure information. For example, the
The
Here, the
In the case of IGRT, a mark is placed on the skin of the subject or the reference position on the surface of the fixture, and the laser aiming device is aligned with the mark to align the irradiation position of the radiation, and then the radiation. The irradiation position of the radiation is corrected based on the images collected immediately before or during the irradiation. In this case, the
For example, the medical
When the determination result is presented by the
The
Next, each device in the
The
The
Further, the X-ray
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
また、逆投影処理としては、例えば、FBP(Filtered Back Projection)法による逆投影処理が挙げられる。
The
The

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the medical
For example, prior to radiotherapy, the
Further, the
Next, the configuration of the

The overall configuration of the
In radiotherapy, in order to start the treatment, each movable part such as the
Therefore, in the
Hereinafter, the details of the
The calculation function 741 calculates the movable procedure from the current state to the state in which the movable parts such as the
Next, the calculation function 741 calculates the movable procedure from the state before the start of radiation therapy to the state in which each movable part is irradiated with radiation, based on the mechanical structure information of the movable part and the device related to the irradiation of radiation. .. The mechanical structure information is acquired in advance from the design data of the
Here, the calculation function 741 calculates a plurality of movable procedures until the state of irradiating radiation is reached. That is, the calculation function 741 calculates a plurality of movable procedures for each pattern in the order in which the plurality of movable portions are moved. For example, in FIG. 6, the calculation function 741 rotates the
The calculation function 741 may be used to calculate the movable procedure by dividing the movement of each movable portion into arbitrary units. For example, the calculation function 741 divides the operation of rotating the
Next, the determination function 742 determines the presence or absence of interference for each movable procedure calculated by the calculation function 741. That is, the determination function 742 determines for each movable procedure whether or not interference occurs in each movable portion, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation when each movable portion is moved according to each movable procedure. .. The equipment related to radiation irradiation means all equipment related to radiation therapy except for moving parts. For example, equipment related to radiation irradiation includes a
Here, the determination function 742 determines the presence or absence of interference in each movable procedure by using the mechanical structure information of the movable portion and the device related to the irradiation of radiation and the body shape information of the subject P. For example, the determination function 742 calculates the distance between each moving part, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation at the present time, based on the mechanical structure information and the body shape information. Next, the determination function 742 calculates the change in the distance between each movable portion, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation when the movable portion is moved according to the movable procedure calculated by the calculation function 741. Then, the determination function 742 determines that interference occurs when the calculated distance value is "0 or less".
As an example, the determination function 742 acquires the coordinates of the movable part, the subject P, and the contour of the device related to the irradiation of radiation based on the mechanical structure information and the body shape information. Next, the determination function 742 acquires the coordinates of the contour of the region through which the contour of the movable portion passes when the movable portion moves, based on the information of the movable range of the movable portion included in the mechanical structure information. Then, the determination function 742 calculates the distance between the coordinates of each contour, and if the value of the calculated distance is "0 or less", it is determined that interference occurs.
The determination function 742 may be a case where it is determined that interference occurs when the distance between each movable part, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value. For example, the determination function 742 determines that interference occurs when the distance between the moving parts and the device related to the irradiation of radiation is "1 cm or less". As a result, the determination function 742 can avoid erroneous determination due to the accuracy of the mechanical structure information. Further, as described above, by making a determination with a predetermined margin, the determination function 742 can make a determination in consideration of the bending of the
Then, the
For example, as shown in FIG. 7A, the
Further, for example, as shown in FIG. 7B, the
Here, when there are a plurality of movable procedures determined not to cause interference, the
Further, the
The
As described above, the
In the case of IGRT, the

Steps S103 and S104 shown in FIG. 8 are steps in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the calculation function 741 from the storage circuit 730 and executes the program. Further, steps S101, S102, and S105 shown in FIG. 8 are steps in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the determination function 742 from the storage circuit 730 and executes the program. Further, step S106 shown in FIG. 8 is a step in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the
In step S101, the processing circuit 740 determines whether or not to initiate the setup of radiation therapy. For example, the processing circuit 740 determines whether or not to start the radiation therapy setup based on the operation from the operator. Here, if the radiation therapy setup is not started (step S101 denied), the processing circuit 740 is in a standby state. On the other hand, when starting the radiotherapy setup (affirmation in step S101), the process proceeds to step S102, the processing circuit 740 acquires "treatment plan data" from the
In step S103, the processing circuit 740 acquires information on the “state before the start of radiotherapy” such as the current position and angle of the moving part. In step S104, the processing circuit 740 is a movable procedure from the "state before the start of radiation therapy" to the "state of irradiating radiation" by using the "mechanical structure information" of the moving part and the device related to the irradiation of radiation. Is calculated. Here, the processing circuit 740 can acquire the "state of irradiating radiation" from the "treatment plan data". In step S105, the processing circuit 740 uses the "mechanical structure information" and the "body shape information" to determine the presence or absence of interference in the movable part, the subject P, and the device related to radiation irradiation for each calculated movable procedure. judge. Then, in step S106, the processing circuit 740 displays the determination result in association with the movable procedure.
As described above, according to the first embodiment, the calculation function 741 moves from the current state to a predetermined state until the plurality of moving parts that move to irradiate the treatment site of the subject P with radiation. Calculate the movable procedure of. The determination function 742 determines whether or not there is interference in the movable portion, the subject P, and the device related to radiation irradiation when a plurality of movable portions are moved by the movable procedure calculated by the calculation function 741.
Further, according to the first embodiment, the calculation function 741 calculates the movable procedure from the state before the start of the radiation therapy to the state of irradiating the radiation. In addition, the determination function 742 determines the presence or absence of interference in the movable portion, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation for each calculated movable procedure. Therefore, the

(Second Embodiment)
In the first embodiment described above, a case where the presence or absence of interference in the setup stage of radiotherapy is determined and the determination result is displayed has been described. In the second embodiment, a case where the presence or absence of interference from the completion of the radiotherapy to the start of the next radiotherapy is determined and the determination result is displayed will be described. The
For example, after the radiation therapy is set up and performed as described above, the next radiation therapy for the same subject P may be continuously performed. For example, after performing radiation therapy on the head, radiation therapy on the abdomen may be further performed. In the following, the radiotherapy already performed will be referred to as the first radiotherapy, and the radiotherapy performed after the first radiotherapy will be referred to as the second radiotherapy. Here, from the state of irradiating the radiation for the first radiotherapy to the state of irradiating the radiation for the second radiotherapy, in the moving part, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of the radiation.
For example, first, the calculation function 741 uses the mechanical structure information to move the procedure from the state of irradiating the radiation for the first radiotherapy to the state of irradiating the radiation for the second radiotherapy. To calculate multiple. The mechanical structure information is acquired in advance from the design data of the
The state of irradiating the radiation for the first radiotherapy is the position and angle of the movable part at the present time. Here, the calculation function 741 can acquire information on the state of irradiating the radiation for the first radiotherapy from, for example, the
Next, the determination function 742 uses the body shape information and the mechanical structure information for each movable procedure calculated by the calculation function 741 to determine whether or not interference occurs in the movable part, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation. judge. The determination function 742 acquires the body shape information of the subject P from the CT image collected by the radiation therapy

Steps S202 and S203 shown in FIG. 9 are steps in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the calculation function 741 from the storage circuit 730 and executes the program. Further, steps S201 and S204 shown in FIG. 9 are steps in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the determination function 742 from the storage circuit 730 and executes the program. Further, step S205 shown in FIG. 9 is a step in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the
In step S201, the processing circuit 740 determines if there is a second radiation therapy. For example, the processing circuit 740 determines whether or not there is a second radiation therapy based on the "treatment plan data". Here, if there is no second radiation therapy (denial in step S201), the processing circuit 740 ends the processing. On the other hand, when there is a second radiation therapy (affirmation in step S201), the process proceeds to step S202, and the processing circuit 740 contains information on "a state of irradiating radiation for the first radiation therapy" and "second radiation". Obtain information on the state of irradiating radiation for treatment.
In step S203, the processing circuit 740 uses the "mechanical structure information" of the moving part and the device related to the irradiation of radiation from the "state of irradiating the radiation for the first radiation therapy" to the "second radiation therapy". Calculate the movable procedure until the state of irradiating the radiation for In step S204, the processing circuit 740 uses the "body shape information" and "mechanical structure information" of the subject P to interfere with the movable part, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation for each movable procedure calculated. Judge the presence or absence of. Then, in step S205, the processing circuit 740 displays the determination result in association with the movable procedure.
As described above, according to the second embodiment, the calculation function 741 is a state in which the moving portion irradiates the radiation for the first radiotherapy from the state in which the moving portion irradiates the radiation for the second radiotherapy. Calculate the movable procedure until. In addition, the determination function 742 determines the presence or absence of interference in the movable portion, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation for each calculated movable procedure. Therefore, the
(Third Embodiment)
In the first and second embodiments described above, the case of determining the presence or absence of interference in the setup stage of radiotherapy or the presence or absence of interference in the state of starting the next radiotherapy has been described. In the third embodiment, a case where the presence or absence of interference from the end of radiation irradiation to the end of radiation therapy is determined and the determination result is displayed will be described.
For example, when the irradiation of the tumor or the like of the subject P is completed, the subject P is removed from the

The state of irradiating the subject P with radiation is the position and angle of the movable portion at the present time. Here, the calculation function 741 can acquire information on the state of irradiating the subject P with radiation from, for example, the
Next, the determination function 742 uses the body shape information and the mechanical structure information for each movable procedure calculated by the calculation function 741 to determine whether or not interference occurs in the movable part, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation. judge. The determination function 742 acquires the body shape information of the subject P from the CT image collected by the radiation therapy

Further, step S305 shown in FIG. 10 is a step in which the processing circuit 740 reads a program corresponding to the
In step S301, the processing circuit 740 determines whether or not to end the radiation therapy. For example, the processing circuit 740 determines whether or not to end the radiation therapy based on the operation from the operator. Here, when the radiotherapy is not completed (step S201 is denied), the processing circuit 740 is in a standby state. On the other hand, when the radiation therapy is terminated (step S201 affirmative), the process proceeds to step S202, and the processing circuit 740 contains information on the "state of irradiating radiation" and information on the "state for lowering the subject P from the sleeper". To get.
In step S303, the processing circuit 740 changes from the "radiation irradiation state" to the "state for lowering the subject P from the sleeper" by using the "mechanical structure information" of the moving part and the device related to the radiation irradiation. Calculate the movable procedure up to. In step S304, the processing circuit 740 uses "body shape information" and "mechanical structure information" to determine the presence or absence of interference in the movable part, the subject P, and the device related to radiation irradiation for each calculated movable procedure. To do. Then, in step S305, the processing circuit 740 displays the determination result in association with the movable procedure.
As described above, according to the third embodiment, the calculation function 741 calculates the movable procedure from the state in which the movable portion is irradiated with radiation to the state in which the subject P is lowered from the bed. In addition, the determination function 742 determines the presence or absence of interference in the movable portion, the subject P, and the device related to the irradiation of radiation for each calculated movable procedure.
