Description
Claims (8)
- 50モル%〜75モル%のSiO2、0モル%超〜20モル%のAl2O3、0モル%超〜35モル%のB2O3、10.03モル%〜20モル%のP2O5、0.5モル%までのFe2O3、および0.1モル%までのZrO2を含むガラスにおいて、アルカリ金属改質剤を実質的に含有せず、前記ガラス中のMgO、CaO、およびSrOの全量が0.2モル%以下であり、前記ガラスが少なくとも1種類の清澄剤を含み、
前記ガラスが、コアガラスを含むガラス積層体内にクラッド層を形成し、前記コアガラスが、前記クラッド層の熱膨脹率より大きい熱膨脹率を有し、前記クラッド層が少なくとも100MPaの圧縮応力下にある
ことを特徴とするガラス。 - 78GPa未満のヤング率および20℃〜300℃の温度範囲について平均された38×10−7/℃未満の熱膨脹率のうちの少なくとも一方を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 前記少なくとも1種類の清澄剤が、SnO2、CeO2、As2O3、Sb2O5、Cl−、およびF−の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のガラス。
- アルカリ土類改質剤を実質的に含有しないことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のガラス。
- 55モル%〜72モル%のSiO2、0モル%超〜16モル%のAl2O3、8モル%〜35モル%のB2O3、10モル%〜20モル%のP2O5、0.2モル%までのSnO2、0.1モル%までのZrO2を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のガラス。
- 800℃未満の歪点を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガラス。
- a. 50モル%〜75モル%のSiO2、0モル%超〜20モル%のAl2O3、0モル%超〜35モル%のB2O3、10.03モル%〜20モル%のP2O5、0.5モル%までのFe2O3、および0.1モル%までのZrO2を含むガラス溶融体を提供する工程であって、前記ガラス溶融体が、アルカリ金属改質剤を実質的に含有せず、前記ガラス溶融体中のMgO、CaO、およびSrOの全量が0.2モル%以下であり、前記ガラス溶融体が少なくとも1種類の清澄剤を含むものである、工程と、
b. 前記ガラス溶融体をダウンドローしてガラスを形成する工程であって、前記ガラスが、78GPa未満のヤング率および20℃〜300℃の温度範囲について平均された38×10−7/℃未満の熱膨脹率のうちの少なくとも一方を有するものである、工程と、
を有してなることを特徴とする、ガラスを製造する方法。 - 前記ガラス溶融体がクラッドガラス溶融体であり、前記方法が、
a. コアガラス溶融体を提供する工程と、
b. 前記コアガラス溶融体を溶融延伸してコアガラスを形成する工程と、
c. 前記クラッドガラス溶融体を溶融延伸して、前記コアガラスを囲むクラッド層ガラスを形成する工程と、
をさらに含み、前記コアガラスが、前記クラッドガラスの熱膨脹率より大きい熱膨脹率を有し、前記クラッド層が少なくとも100MPaの圧縮応力下にあることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
