Claims (14)
- 第1色の光を放射し、第1ピーク波長を有する第1発光ダイオードと;
前記第1色の光を放射し、前記第1ピーク波長とは異なる第2ピーク波長を有する第2発光ダイオードと;
前記第1色とは異なる第2色の紫外光を放射する第3発光ダイオードと;
前記第1発光ダイオード、前記第2発光ダイオード及び前記第3発光ダイオードに整合して配置された波長変換素子であり、該波長変換素子の一部が前記第3発光ダイオードに整合して配置され紫外光を吸収して赤色光を放出する、波長変換素子と;
を含む照明システムであり、
前記波長変換素子が第1蛍光体を含み、該第1蛍光体が、前記第1ピーク波長における第1吸収と、前記第2ピーク波長における第2吸収とを含み、前記第1吸収は前記第2吸収とは異なる、
照明システム。 - 前記第1ピーク波長と前記第2ピーク波長とが少なくとも10nmだけ異なる、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記波長変換素子がさらに、第2蛍光体を含み;
前記第1蛍光体及び前記第2蛍光体は異なる色の光を放射する;
請求項1に記載の照明システム。 - 前記第2蛍光体は紫外光を吸収し、赤色光を放射する、
請求項3に記載の照明システム。 - 前記第1蛍光体は、前記第3発光ダイオードによって放射される光に応答して光を放射することはしない、請求項4に記載の照明システム。
- 前記第1蛍光体及び前記第2蛍光体が単一の層で混合される、請求項3に記載の照明システム。
- 前記第1蛍光体が第1層に配置され、前記第2蛍光体が前記第1層とは別個の第2層に配置される、請求項3に記載の照明システム。
- 前記第1ピーク波長は、431〜441nmの間にあり;
前記第2ピーク波長は、452nm〜462nmの間にあり;
前記波長変換素子はYAG:Ceを含む、
請求項1に記載の照明システム。 - 前記第2発光ダイオードを起動させずに前記第1発光ダイオード及び前記第3発光ダイオードを同時に起動させ、前記第1発光ダイオードを起動させずに前記第2発光ダイオード及び前記第3発光ダイオードを同時に起動させる制御回路を更に含む、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記第1発光ダイオード及び前記第2発光ダイオードが青色光を放射する、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記第3発光ダイオードによって放射される光の一部を反射又は吸収するフィルタをさらに備え、
前記波長変換素子は、前記フィルタと前記第3発光ダイオードとの間に配置される、
請求項1に記載の照明システム。 - 第1色の光を放射し、第1ピーク波長を有する第1発光ダイオードと;
前記第1色の光を放射し、前記第1ピーク波長とは異なる第2ピーク波長を有する第2発光ダイオードと;
前記第1色とは異なる第2色の紫外光を放射する第3発光ダイオードと;
前記第1発光ダイオード、前記第2発光ダイオード及び前記第3発光ダイオードに整合し、前記第1発光ダイオード、前記第2発光ダイオード及び前記第3発光ダイオードから離れて配置された波長変換素子であり、該波長変換素子の一部が前記第3発光ダイオードに整合して配置され紫外光を吸収して赤色光を放出する、波長変換素子と;
を含む照明システムであり、
前記波長変換素子が第1蛍光体を含み、該第1蛍光体が、前記第1ピーク波長における第1吸収と、前記第2ピーク波長における第2吸収とを含み、前記第1吸収は前記第2吸収とは異なる、
照明システム。 - 前記第1ピーク波長及び前記第2ピーク波長が少なくとも10nmだけ異なる、請求項12に記載の照明システム。
- 請求項12に記載の照明システムであり、
前記波長変換素子がさらに、第2蛍光体を有し;
前記第1蛍光体及び前記第2蛍光体は異なる色の光を放射する;
