Claims (14)
- 通路の内壁を撮像するためのイメージセンシングシステムを持つカテーテルであり、前記カテーテルは、前記通路内に置かれ、
前記カテーテルの周りに光出力を放射状に発生させる光源配列、及び前記内壁による反射の後、前記放射状の光出力を受信するイメージセンサを有する放射状イメージングシステムを有し、
前記カテーテルは、当該カテーテルの長さに沿った前記通路内の既定の位置及び方位で前記通路内に位置決められるように構成される、
前記カテーテルは、当該カテーテルの長さを横切る断面において、非円形の外形を持ち、前記非円形の外形は、前記通路内の特定の既知の経路の位置及び方位を採用するような外形を持つ、並びに
前記カテーテルの周りの前記光出力の強度分布の形状が非円形である、又は前記カテーテルの周りの光伝達配列の光伝達関数が非一様であり、前記カテーテルが採用する前記既知の位置及び方位を考慮して前記強度分布の形状及び光伝達関数が設計されるように、前記光出力は、別々の放射状の方向に異なる強度を持つ及び/又は前記カテーテルは、別々の放射状の方向に対し、前記光出力の前記イメージセンサへの異なる伝達を生じさせる光伝達配列を有する
