- プーリ(13,14)に巻き掛けられる金属ベルト(15)が、一対の金属リング(22)と、前記金属リング(22)に支持される多数の金属エレメント(23)とを備え、前記金属エレメント(23)は、前記金属リング(22)の径方向内側に位置するボディ部(24)と、前記金属リング(22)の径方向外側に位置するイヤー部(26)と、前記一対の金属リング(22)に挟まれて前記ボディ部(24)および前記イヤー部(26)を接続するネック部(25)とを備えるベルト式無段変速機用金属ベルトであって、
前記金属エレメント(23)の前面および後面の何れか一面は少なくとも前記イヤー部(26)の左右方向中央部に凹部(26a)を備え、前記イヤー部(26)の前面は前方に突出するノーズ(32)を備えるとともに、前記イヤー部(26)の後面は前記ノーズ(32)が嵌合可能なホール(33)を備え、前記凹部(26a)の深さ(D)を前記イヤー部(26)の前後方向湾曲量(B)と前記ノーズ(32)の周囲の盛り上がり量(H)との和よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とするベルト式無段変速機用金属ベルト。 - プーリ(13,14)に巻き掛けられる金属ベルト(15)が、一対の金属リング(22)と、前記金属リング(22)に支持される多数の金属エレメント(23)とを備え、前記金属エレメント(23)は、前記金属リング(22)の径方向内側に位置するボディ部(24)と、前記金属リング(22)の径方向外側に位置するイヤー部(26)と、前記一対の金属リング(22)に挟まれて前記ボディ部(24)および前記イヤー部(26)を接続するネック部(25)とを備えるベルト式無段変速機用金属ベルトであって、
前記金属エレメント(23)の前面および後面は前記イヤー部(26)の左右方向中央部にそれぞれ凹部(26a)を備え、前記凹部(26a)の深さの和(D1+D)を前記イヤー部(26)の前後方向湾曲量の和(B1+B2)よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とするベルト式無段変速機用金属ベルト。 - 前記イヤー部(26)の前面は前方に突出するノーズ(22)を備えるとともに、前記イヤー部(26)の後面は前記ノーズ(22)が嵌合可能なホール(23)を備え、前記凹部(26a)の深さの和(D1+D2)を前記イヤー部(26)の前後方向湾曲量の和(B1+B2)と前記ノーズ(22)の周囲の盛り上がり量(H)との和よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のベルト式無段変速機用金属ベルト。
