Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係る表示装置の外観を例示する斜視図である。図2は、本実施の形態に係る表示装置を模式的に示したブロック図の一例である。図3は、本実施の形態に係る表示装置の投影光学系を例示する図である。
前述のように、表示装置1では、投影光学系15が片眼側にのみ実装されている。しかし、表示装置1では、様々なユーザが利き眼に合わせて利用できるよう、装着部10を上下対称に設計し、右眼側と左眼側とを反転させても装着者の頭部に装着可能に構成している。

Claims (4)
- 網膜走査型の表示装置であって、
眼の網膜にレーザ光による映像を投影する投影光学系と、
前記映像の湾曲を補正する湾曲補正手段と、
前記映像を反転させる映像反転手段と、
前記映像を左眼に投影する場合に前記映像の湾曲を補正する補正データ、及び前記映像を右眼に投影する場合に前記映像の湾曲を補正する補正データ、を記憶する記憶手段と、
右眼側と左眼側とを反転させても装着者の頭部に装着可能に構成された眼鏡型の装着部と、を有し、
前記投影光学系は、前記装着部の右眼側か左眼側の何れか一方の眼の側に内蔵され、
前記装着部は、上下方向に対称性を有し、
前記湾曲補正手段が、前記レーザ光が前記投影光学系から網膜に投影される角度に基いて前記補正データを生成し、
前記投影光学系を配置する側が、一方の眼側から他方の眼側に切り替えられたことを示す切替信号に基づき、前記湾曲補正手段が一方の眼に対応する補正データから他方の眼に対応する補正データに切り替えて湾曲補正を行うと共に、前記映像反転手段が映像反転を行うことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記切替信号は、装着者によるスイッチ切り替えの操作によって生成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記切替信号は、前記投影光学系を配置する側が一方の眼側から他方の眼側に切り替えられたことを検出するセンサによって生成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記補正データは、湾曲していない元の映像を複数のドットで区分し、前記複数のドットを前記角度に応じて移動させた際のドット座標であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の表示装置。
