Claims (14)
- 複数個の単位モジュールであって、
中空が形成されたチューブ形態の単位ケースと、
缶型二次電池の形態に構成され、前記単位ケースの中空に位置し、長手方向に沿って一方向へ並んで配置され、相互電気的に接続した複数個のバッテリーセルと、
前記単位モジュールの一側面に位置する正極リード及び他側面に位置する負極リードを有する電極リードと、
を含む複数個の単位モジュールと、
内部に前記複数個の単位モジュールが収容される収容空間を有するモジュールケースと、
前記モジュールケースの両側面に位置する一対のエンドプレートと、
前記エンドプレートの面のうち、前記単位モジュールと対向する面に設けられた連結部材であって、本体部と前記複数個の単位モジュールに各々対応する複数の結合溝とを有し、前記結合溝は、前記電極リードに対応する形状であり、前記結合溝の各々に各単位モジュールの前記電極リードが挿入結合されることにより各単位モジュールの前記電極リードと電気的に結合できる連結部材と、
前記連結部材が位置する面と反対側の前記エンドプレートの外側面に位置し、前記複数個の単位モジュールと外部機器とを電気的に接続するように構成されたコネクティング部材と、
を含み、
前記単位モジュールは、前記単位ケースが前記モジュールケースから外部に突出しないように、前記モジュールケースに収容可能である、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記単位ケース及び前記バッテリーセルが、円筒状として提供されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーセルの外面が、前記単位ケースの中空の内面に密着することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記単位ケースの内部に隣接する前記バッテリーセルは、電極端子が互いに直接接触することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記単位ケースの内部には複数個の突起が形成され、前記突起は前記単位ケースの内部中央へ突出し、相互隣接する前記突起は前記バッテリーセルの長さだけ離隔して位置する請求項4に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記単位ケースの外周面には、円周方向に沿って形成される複数個の溝が提供されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記単位ケース及び前記モジュールケースが、アルミニウム材質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記モジュールケース及び前記エンドプレートは、円筒状として提供されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記連結部材が、
本体部と、
前記本体部の内部に形成される複数個の結合溝と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記結合溝には、前記単位モジュールの前記電極リードが挿入されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記エンドプレートには、前記モジュールケースの一部が挿入されるように収容溝が形成され、前記収容溝は、その断面がリング状であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の
バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記結合溝は、前記収容溝の内側に複数個が位置することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1から請求項12のうちいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含む、バッテリーパック。
- 請求項13に記載のバッテリーパックを含む、自動車。
