Claims (9)
- 少なくとも指を検出可能である、インセル型またはオンセル型の表示パネルを制御する表示パネル用コントローラであって、
メモリと、
前記メモリに記憶されたプログラムに従い、
前記表示パネルに配設された共用電極を用いて表示動作期間に前記表示パネルを構成する画素の駆動動作を行い、
前記共用電極を用いて、前記表示動作期間と異なる期間であるブランク期間のうち、
第1のブランク期間にアクティブスタイラスに対し信号を送信し、
第2のブランク期間に前記アクティブスタイラスから送信された位置信号又はデータ信号を受信するプロセッサと、
を含む、表示パネル用コントローラ。 - 前記共用電極は、前記表示パネルを構成する画素の複数を駆動するために用いられる共通電極である、
請求項1に記載の表示パネル用コントローラ。 - 前記共用電極は、前記表示パネルを構成する画素の個々を駆動する画素電極である、
請求項1に記載の表示パネル用コントローラ。 - 前記プロセッサが前記第1のブランク期間に送信する信号はコマンド信号であり、
前記プロセッサは、ある一の前記コマンド信号を送信した後、次の前記コマンド信号を送信するまでに存在する複数の前記第2のブランク期間に、前記位置信号又は前記データ信号を受信する、
請求項1に記載の表示パネル用コントローラ。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記第2のブランク期間に、前記コマンド信号より時間長の短いタイミング信号を送信し、前記第2のブランク期間に前記データ信号を受信する、
請求項4に記載の表示パネル用コントローラ。 - 指とスタイラスを検出可能であるインセル型の表示パネルを備えた表示装置であって、
画素を駆動するための共用電極と、
前記共用電極を用いて、
表示動作期間に前記表示パネルを構成する画素の駆動動作を行い、
前記表示動作期間とは異なるブランク期間のうち、
第1のブランク期間にアクティブスタイラスに対し信号を送信し、
第2のブランク期間に前記信号に応じて前記アクティブスタイラスから送信された位置信号又はデータ信号を受信するコントローラと、
を含む、表示装置。 - 少なくとも指を検出可能であるインセル型の表示パネルを制御する表示パネル用コントローラとともに用いられるアクティブスタイラスであって、
前記表示パネル用コントローラは、
前記表示パネルに配設された共用電極を用いて表示動作期間に前記表示パネルを構成する画素の駆動動作を行い、
前記表示動作期間と異なる期間であるブランク期間のうち、
第1のブランク期間にアクティブスタイラスに対し信号を送信し、
第2のブランク期間に前記共用電極を用いて前記アクティブスタイラスから送信された位置信号又はデータ信号を受信するものであり、
前記アクティブスタイラスは、
ペン先に設けられた電極と、
前記電極に接続され、
前記第1のブランク期間に前記信号を受信し、
前記第2のブランク期間に前記位置信号又は前記データ信号を送信する
プロセッサと、を含む、
アクティブスタイラス。 - 前記アクティブスタイラスは、筆圧値を検出する筆圧検出部をさらに含み、
前記プロセッサは、前記筆圧値を含む前記データ信号を複数の前記第2のブランク期間に分割して送信する、
請求項7に記載のアクティブスタイラス。 - 前記表示パネル用コントローラは、前記複数の前記第2のブランク期間を指定する補助アップリンク信号を送信するものであり、
前記プロセッサは、前記補助アップリンク信号に応じて、前記複数の前記第2のブランク期間に前記データ信号を送信する、
