Description
The present invention relates to a power conversion device including a semiconductor module incorporating a semiconductor element and a capacitor for smoothing a DC voltage applied to the semiconductor module.
As a power converter for converting DC power supplied from a DC power source into AC power, a semiconductor module incorporating a semiconductor element and a capacitor connected to the semiconductor module and smoothing a DC voltage applied to the semiconductor module are provided. A known one is known (see
A power branch line is connected to the capacitor. Using this power branch line, a part of the DC power is branched from the capacitor and supplied to an external device such as an air conditioner. The power branch line is provided with a fuse. When overcurrent flows through the power branch line, the fuse blows. As a result, the external device is protected from overcurrent.
While the external device is in operation, current flows through the fuse, and the fuse generates heat. In addition, when a power converter is used, the capacitor generates heat because a ripple current flows through the capacitor. In the above power converter, the fuse and the capacitor are arranged close to each other for miniaturization.
However, since the fuse and the capacitor are arranged close to each other in the power converter, the heat generated from the fuse and the capacitor interferes with each other, and the temperature is likely to rise. In order to solve this problem, if the fuse and the capacitor are arranged apart from each other, an extra space is formed between them, and the power conversion device is easily increased in size. Therefore, there is a demand for a power conversion device that can be miniaturized and that can suppress a temperature rise between the fuse and the capacitor.
This invention is made | formed in view of this subject, and it aims at providing the power converter device which can be reduced in size and can suppress the temperature rise of a fuse and a capacitor | condenser.
One aspect of the present invention is a semiconductor module (3) constituting an inverter circuit (39) for converting DC power supplied from a DC power supply (10) into AC power;
A capacitor (2) connected to the semiconductor module and smoothing a DC voltage applied to the semiconductor module;
A branch bus bar (4) made of a metal plate and connected to the capacitor;
A power branch line (5) connected to the branch bus bar;
A fuse (6) connected to the power branch line ,
The branch bus bar, the power branch line, and the fuse constitute a power supply path (P) for branching a part of the DC power from the capacitor and supplying it to an external device (8).
The capacitor includes a capacitor element (21), a capacitor case (22) that accommodates the capacitor element, and a sealing portion (23) that seals the capacitor element in the capacitor case.
The fuse is arranged on the side where the exposed surface of the sealing portion from the capacitor case faces,
At least a part of the fuse is disposed in the projected area of the exposed surface in the normal direction of the exposed surface of the sealing portion,
In the power converter (1), at least a part of the branch bus bar is disposed at a position between the fuse and the exposed surface of the sealing portion .
In the power conversion device, a branch bus bar made of a metal plate is connected to the capacitor. A power branch line is connected to the branch bus bar, and a fuse is provided on the power branch line. That is, a branch bus bar made of a metal plate having high heat dissipation is electrically connected to both the capacitor and the fuse.
Therefore, the heat generated from the capacitor and the fuse can be conducted to the branch bus bar and can be dissipated from the branch bus bar. Therefore, the temperature rise of the capacitor and the fuse can be suppressed.
In the power converter, the branch bus bar is interposed between the capacitor and the fuse. Therefore, the radiant heat generated from the capacitor and the fuse can be shielded by the branch bus bar. Therefore, thermal interference between the capacitor and the fuse can be suppressed.
In this way, by forming the branch bus bar, heat generated from the capacitor and the fuse can be conducted to the branch bus bar and radiated, and radiant heat generated from the capacitor and the fuse can be shielded by the branch bus bar, thereby preventing thermal interference. Can be suppressed. Therefore, the temperature rise of the capacitor and the fuse can be suppressed. Therefore, it is possible to increase the heat generation amount of the capacitor and the fuse. That is, it is possible to increase the amount of power sent to the external device or the semiconductor module.
In addition, if the branch bus bar is formed, thermal interference between the fuse and the capacitor can be suppressed, so that they can be arranged close to each other. Therefore, the power conversion device can be reduced in size.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a fastening through
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a
Next, the manufacturing method of the
Next, the
Next, the
Moreover, depending on the customer of the
Next, the effect of this form is demonstrated. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in this embodiment, a
Therefore, the heat generated from the
In this embodiment, the
Thus, by forming the
Further, in this embodiment, since the thermal interference between the
Further, when the
In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, an air layer A is formed between the
Therefore, the heat conducted from the
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, in this embodiment, a
Therefore, the radiant heat generated from the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5, the
Thus, by forming the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 14, the
Therefore, when the power supply path P is required, the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the
