Claims (2)
- 内燃機関が有する複数の気筒のうち少なくとも一の気筒での空燃比を理論空燃比よりも小さいリッチ空燃比に制御し、前記少なくとも一の気筒以外の気筒での空燃比を前記理論空燃比よりも大きいリーン空燃比に制御して、前記複数の気筒からの排気を浄化する触媒を昇温する昇温処理の実行中であるか否かを判定する実行判定部と、
前記実行判定部により肯定判定がなされた場合に、前記内燃機関の運転状態に応じて、前記昇温処理で制御される前記リッチ空燃比と前記リーン空燃比との差分の大きさに相関するパラメータの、目標値を算出する目標値算出部と、
前記実行判定部により肯定判定がなされた場合に、前記触媒が予め設定された上限温度にまで昇温するのに必要となる前記パラメータを上限値として算出する上限値算出部と、
前記実行判定部により肯定判定がなされた場合に、前記目標値が前記上限値以下であるか否かを判定する比較判定部と、
前記比較判定部により肯定判定がなされた場合に、前記昇温処理の実行中での前記パラメータを前記目標値に制御し、前記比較判定部により否定判定がなされた場合に、前記昇温処理の実行中での前記パラメータを前記上限値に制御する昇温制御部と、を備え、
前記上限値算出部は、
前記昇温処理の実行中での前記内燃機関の運転状態に基づいて、前記昇温処理による前記触媒の温度上昇分を除いた前記触媒の温度を推定する温度推定部と、
前記上限温度と推定された前記触媒の温度との温度差を算出する温度差算出部と、
前記温度差分だけ前記触媒を昇温するのに必要となる前記パラメータを前記上限値として算出する必要パラメータ算出部と、を含む、内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記触媒は、前記内燃機関の排気の上流側及び下流側にそれぞれ位置する上流触媒及び下流触媒を含み、
前記上限値算出部は、前記昇温処理の実行により前記上流触媒が前記上限温度にまで昇温するのに必要となる前記パラメータを前記上限値として算出する、請求項1の内燃機関の制御装置。
