Claims (6)
- 円周方向の三等分位置に軸方向に延びるトラック溝を形成した外側継手部材と、シャフトとトルク伝達可能にスプライン嵌合するトラニオン胴部とこのトラニオン胴部の円周方向の三等分位置から半径方向に突出したトラニオンジャーナルとからなるトリポード部材と、前記各トラニオンジャーナルの回りに複数の針状ころを介して回転可能に装着された球状ローラとを備え、この球状ローラが前記トラック溝に収容され、前記球状ローラの外球面が前記トラック溝の両側壁に形成されたローラ案内面によって案内されるようにしたトリポード型等速自在継手において、
前記トラニオンジャーナルに中空孔が形成され、
前記トラニオンジャーナルの外周面および前記中空孔の表面に焼入れ硬化層が形成され、
前記トラニオンジャーナルの外周面から内部に向けての範囲および前記中空孔の表面から内部に向けての範囲のそれぞれから全硬化層深さ(Dt)を除いた範囲におけるコア硬度が、前記トラニオン胴部の表面から内部に向けての範囲から全硬化層深さ(Dt)を除いた範囲におけるコア硬度よりも高いことを特徴とするトリポード型等速自在継手。 - 前記トラニオンジャーナルの横断面積Aに対する中空孔の横断面積Bの比B/Aが、0.35〜0.80に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記中空孔が底部を有する円筒状であり、この底部の表面にも焼入れ硬化層が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記中空孔が底部を有する楕円筒状であり、この楕円の長軸が継手の軸線に直交する方向に配置され、前記底部の表面にも焼入れ硬化層が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記焼入れ硬化層が浸炭焼入れ焼戻しによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記トラニオンジャーナルの中空孔が鍛造成形面で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
