Description
Claims (6)
- 回転軸を中心に回転可能な回転多面鏡と、
前記回転軸の一端のみを支持する軸支持部と、
前記回転多面鏡において前記回転軸と平行な軸方向の位置が異なる複数の入射位置に光ビームを入射させる複数の光照射部と、
前記回転多面鏡の回転により走査される複数の前記光ビームに対応して設けられ、前記光ビーム各々を前記光ビームに対応する被走査面に等速で走査させる複数の走査レンズと、
を備え、
前記複数の走査レンズが同一規格であり、
複数の前記光ビームのうち前記回転多面鏡において前記軸支持部から最も離間している前記入射位置に入射する特定の光ビームは、他の前記光ビームに比べて、前記走査レンズの光軸を通過する際に前記回転多面鏡に入射する前記特定の光ビームと前記走査レンズの光軸との第1入射開度が、前記走査レンズの規格に対応する使用条件として予め定められた基準角度に最も近い関係が成立し、且つ、前記複数の走査レンズのうち前記特定の光ビームに対応する一の走査レンズが他の前記走査レンズに比べて前記回転多面鏡から遠い位置となるように、前記回転多面鏡、前記複数の光照射部、及び前記走査レンズが配置されており、
前記基準角度は、前記操作レンズの使用条件として設定された前記第1入射開度の最適値として予め定められた角度であり、
前記使用条件は、前記走査レンズで走査される前記光ビームの前記被走査面における像面湾曲が最小となる条件である、
光走査装置。 - 前記第1入射開度が前記基準角度と同一である請求項1に記載の光走査装置。
- 複数の前記光ビームが、前記特定の光ビームである第1光ビーム及び前記回転多面鏡において前記第1光ビームより前記軸支持部に近い前記入射位置に入射する第2光ビームであり、
複数の前記走査レンズが、前記第1光ビームに対応する第1走査レンズ及び前記第2光ビームに対応する第2走査レンズであり、
前記第1光ビームが前記第1走査レンズの光軸を通過する際に前記回転多面鏡に入射する前記第1光ビームと前記第1走査レンズの光軸との第1入射開度が、前記第2光ビームが前記第2走査レンズの光軸を通過する際に前記回転多面鏡に入射する前記第2光ビームと前記第2走査レンズの光軸との第2入射開度よりも前記基準角度に近い関係が成立するように前記回転多面鏡、前記複数の光照射部、及び前記走査レンズが配置されている請求項1に記載の光走査装置。 - 前記回転多面鏡が、第1回転多面鏡及び前記第1回転多面鏡より前記軸支持部に近い第2回転多面鏡を有しており、
前記第1光ビームが前記第1回転多面鏡に入射し、前記第2光ビームが前記第2回転多面鏡に入射する請求項3に記載の光走査装置。 - 前記特定の光ビームが前記走査レンズの光軸を通過する際に前記回転多面鏡に入射する前記特定の光ビームと前記走査レンズの光軸との第1入射開度が他の前記光ビームに比べて小さい関係が成立するように前記回転多面鏡、前記複数の光照射部、及び前記走査レンズが配置されている請求項1に記載の光走査装置。
- 請求項1に記載の光走査装置を備え、前記光走査装置によって前記被走査面に形成される静電潜像を現像してシートに転写する画像形成装置。
