Description
少なくとも2つ以上の電池セルが互いに密着又は隣接するように配列されている電池セルアセンブリ;
前記電池セルアセンブリの最外側の電池セルをそれぞれ覆うように固定されている前面プレート及び後面プレート;
電池セルアセンブリの上端に装着され、前記電池セルの電極端子が貫通する貫通溝が形成されている電気絶縁性のカバー部材;
前記カバー部材の下面に装着されている回路基板(PCB:Printed Circuit Board);
前記カバー部材に装着された状態で配列されており、前記電池セルの電極端子及びPCBにそれぞれ接続されて電池セルとPCBとの電気的接続を行う導電性接続部;及び
前記カバー部材の下面でPCB上に位置し、前記PCBと導電性接続部との間の接続部を覆う下部モールディング部;
を含む構造で構成されてもよい。

Claims (19)
- 少なくとも2つ以上の電池セルが互いに密着又は隣接するように配列されている電池セルアセンブリと、
前記電池セルアセンブリの最外側の電池セルをそれぞれ覆うように固定されている前面プレート及び後面プレートと、
電池セルアセンブリの上端に装着され、前記電池セルの電極端子が貫通する貫通溝が形成されている電気絶縁性のカバー部材と、
前記カバー部材の下面に装着されている回路基板(PCB:Printed Circuit Board)と、
前記カバー部材に装着された状態で配列されており、前記電池セルの電極端子及びPCBにそれぞれ接続されて電池セルとPCBとの電気的接続を行う導電性接続部と、
前記カバー部材の下面でPCB上に位置し、前記PCBと導電性接続部との間の接続部を覆う下部モールディング部と、
電池モジュールの作動を制御するBMS(Battery Management System)と、
を含み、
カバー部材の上部にBMSが装着され、
前記導電性接続部は、前記PCBに接続される部位が、前記カバー部材の上面から下面を通過する構造で延びて前記PCBに接続されることを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 前記電池セルアセンブリは、電池セルがそれぞれカートリッジに固定された構造が側面配列されるように積層されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カートリッジには、電池セルアセンブリを固定するための締結部材が挿入される締結口が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートのケースに電極組立体が内蔵されているパウチ型電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルはリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記導電性接続部は、カバー部材の貫通溝に対応するように配列された状態で、カバー部材に機械的に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カバー部材の下面には、PCBが装着されるように湾入しているPCB装着部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルアセンブリは、電池セルの正極端子及び負極端子が上部方向に突出するように電池セルが配列されており、前記PCBは、正極端子と負極端子との間に位置していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 最外側に位置した導電性接続部には、電池モジュールの外部入出力端子と接続されるバスバーが結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記下部モールディング部は、導電性接続部とPCBとの接続部位を外部の水分から遮断(water seal)する密閉構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カバー部材の上面に付加される上部モールディング部をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- PCBには、1つ又は2つ以上のBMS連結部がPCBから上部方向に突出しており、前記BMSは、BMS連結部に電気的に結合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- PCBには、1つ又は2つ以上のBMS連結部がPCBから上部方向に突出しており、前記カバー部材には、BMS連結部が貫通してBMSに接続される貫通状締結口が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記貫通状締結口は、BMS連結部が上向きに突出した構造からなっており、内部にナットが挿入されている構造であることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カバー部材の縁部には、前面又は後面プレートの上部を覆うように下向きに折り曲げられた構造で延びている2つ以上の固定部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記下部モールディング部は絶縁性樹脂からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュールを含む、高出力大容量の電池パック。
- 請求項17に記載の電池パックを含んでいる、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、または電力貯蔵装置であることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載のデバイス。
