Description
The present invention relates to a waterproof seam structure in clothes.
Traditionally, clothes that require waterproofing, such as rain gear for mountaineering and waterproof work clothes, have been manufactured, and these clothes are devised to prevent water from entering the clothes from the seams. .
For example, in JP-A-8-92868 (Patent Document 1), when manufacturing a garment using a waterproof fabric in which a thermoplastic resin film is laminated on a fiber base fabric, the ends of the two waterproof fabrics are heated. The plastic resin coating layers are overlapped so that they face each other, the first hot-melt sealing material is placed between the overlapped layers, and the fabric is sewn, and one waterproof fabric is folded along the stitching line, to the folded portion. The second hot-melt sealing material is disposed, and one side of the folded waterproof fabric, the second hot-melt sealing material, the seam allowance of the folded waterproof fabric, and the first seam, in the down stitch (that is, the seam for suppressing the seam allowance), It is disclosed that the hot melt sealing material and the other waterproof cloth are stitched together, and then the stitched portion is pressure-melted and bonded using a high-frequency welder.
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-41208 (Patent Document 2) discloses that when fabric is manufactured using water-repellent fabric (non-resin coated fabric) that is not coated with resin, two fabrics are sewn together. And stitching the stitched end in one direction, fixing the seam allowance by the presser seam, covering the stitched portion and bonding the sealing tape, and the sealing tape made of a high melting point resin It is disclosed that it is composed of an adhesive resin film made of a low melting point resin.
Furthermore, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-216727 (Patent Document 3), when two waterproof fabrics are stitched, a stitched end portion of one fabric A is folded back, and a stitched end portion of the other fabric B is folded into the folded portion. Is inserted, and the overlapped portions are stitched in a state of being overlapped, and the fabric A is folded back in a Z shape in a direction opposite to the folding direction of the stitching end portion, and the overlapped portions are sutured in a state of being overlapped by four sheets. Is disclosed.
With respect to waterproof seams when manufacturing clothes and the like, the method disclosed in
Moreover, the first and second hot melt sealing materials are finally melted under pressure using a high-frequency welder. However, the hot melt sealing materials that have been melted under pressure protrude from the seam and from the outside and the back side of the garment. It may be visible. In particular, the first hot-melt sealing material disposed between two waterproof fabrics is a problem because the first hot-melt sealing material is visible from the outside of the garment when it protrudes from the place of ground stitching. In addition, there arises a problem that the first hot melt sealing material and the second hot melt sealing material protrude from the seam allowance and are visible from the back side of the clothes.
In the method disclosed in
Moreover, when the waterproof fabric is to be stitched in a curved shape, it is difficult to fold the waterproof fabric A1 well and the second hot-melt sealing material is displaced. The part cannot be sutured. In sewing clothes, the curved ends of each part are often sewn together, and in particular, the sleeved portion is a curved end, so the method disclosed in
The method disclosed in
In the suturing method disclosed in
The present invention solves the conventional problems, and when manufacturing a garment or the like using a waterproof or water-repellent fabric, the two-piece parts can be sewn with a main stitch (ground stitch) as in the conventional case. An object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof seam structure, and to provide a seam structure in which a waterproof function is not impaired even if a decorative stitch or a presser stitch is provided in parallel with a ground stitch for sewing parts such as clothes.
The present invention provides a stitch structure that is suitable for curvilinear stitching and that has the same form as that of ordinary clothes, both when viewed from the outside of clothes and the like and when viewed from the back side of clothes. For the purpose. And it aims at providing cloth products, such as clothes, an umbrella, and a tent which have such a stitch structure.
According to the present invention, the first fabric having waterproofness or water repellency and the second fabric having waterproofness or water repellency are sewn by ground stitching, and the upper thread has stretch properties in the ground stitching. Water-repellent filament yarn, lower thread is water-repellent woolly processed yarn, stitches are stitched at 15 or more per 3 cm, and seam allowance is laid down The object is achieved by the structure.
According to the present invention, the first fabric having waterproofness or water repellency and the second fabric having waterproofness or water repellency are sewn by ground stitching, and the upper thread has stretch properties in the ground stitching. The yarn is water-repellent filament yarn, the lower thread is water-repellent woolly processed yarn, the stitches are sewn at 15 or more per 3 cm, the seam allowance is laid down, and the stitching allowance is hung with decorative stitches It has been. The decorative stitch is a filament yarn having an upper thread having stretchability and water repellency, a lower thread is a wooly processed thread having water repellency, and stitches are stitched at 8 to 14 per 3 cm, The object is achieved by a waterproof seam structure in which the upper thread of the decorative stitch is sewn so as to appear on the front side of the fabric product.
Moreover, the said objective is achieved by the fabric product which has the stitch structure mentioned above.
According to the present invention, the first fabric having waterproofness or water repellency and the second fabric having waterproofness or water repellency are sewn by ground stitching.
(A) A filament yarn having stretch properties and water repellency was used as the upper yarn;
(A) The wooly processed yarn having water repellency was used as the lower yarn,
(C) The number of stitches is 15 or more per 3 cm,
(D) A sufficient waterproof effect was obtained by combining the four constituent elements that the seam allowance was laid down.
Crossing the upper thread and lower thread by a normal sewing machine with a combination of stretchy and water-repellent filament yarn as upper thread and water-repellent woolly processed thread as lower thread The point approaches the upper thread side. (Note that this state does not occur when the upper thread is a normal sewing thread having no stretchability.)
And the needle hole formed in the upper thread side fabric is closed by the upper thread and the woolly processed thread having a volume. Since both the upper thread and the lower thread that close the needle hole have water repellency, it is possible to prevent water from entering the clothes or the like from the needle hole on the upper thread side.
Further, by making the needles fine so that the number of stitches is 15 or more per 3 cm, and by making the seam allowance one-sided, it is possible to prevent water from entering between the stitches (stitches) and the like.
In addition, when a decorative stitch (press stitch) is applied to the seam allowance part, the decorative stitch (e) the upper thread is a filament thread having stretch properties and water repellency,
(F) The bobbin thread is a wooly processed thread having water repellency,
(G) Needle movement should have 8-14 stitches per 3 cm;
(H) A sufficient waterproof effect could be obtained by combining the four constituent elements of sewing so that the upper thread of the decorative stitch appeared on the front side of the fabric product.
The decorative stitch is made by stitching together one piece of cloth on the front side and two pieces of the seam allowance. The filament yarn having stretchability and water repellency is used as the upper yarn, and the lower yarn is made water repellant. As in the case of ground stitching, the crossing point of the upper thread and lower thread is closer to the upper thread side, and the needle hole formed in the upper thread side fabric is processed with the upper thread and the woolly thread. Blocked with thread. In this case, the decorative stitches are sewn with 8 to 14 stitches per 3 cm so that the length of the stitches (stitches) is larger than that of the ground stitches. The number of needle holes is reduced to reduce the risk of impairing the waterproof function.
According to the present invention, the waterproof seam structure does not require any special contrivance, and can be sewn with a normal sewing machine. And since a waterproof tape etc. are not used, the manufacturing process of cloth products, such as clothes, is easy and can be made cheap.
The garment having the waterproof seam structure according to the present invention does not have a rough feeling at the seam, and has a good comfort as in a normal garment.
The waterproof seam structure of the present invention is composed of two fabrics and upper and lower threads, and the seam structure of the present invention is waterproof or water-repellent for clothes, bags, hats, umbrellas, tents, sleeping bags, etc. It can be applied to the stitching of two pieces of fabric in a fabric product that requires a fabric.
The fabric used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is waterproof or water-repellent, and fabrics conventionally used for rain clothes, windbreakers and the like can be used. For example, a high-density fabric, a fabric that is waterproofed or water-repellent, a fabric that is coated with a synthetic resin, a fabric that is formed by laminating a synthetic resin coating layer, and the like can be used.
In the present invention, the yarn used for the upper yarn in the ground stitch and the decorative stitch is a filament yarn having stretch properties and water repellency. Various filament yarns having stretch properties are commercially available, but the yarn used as the upper yarn in the present invention is preferably a stretch filament yarn having an elongation of 25 to 40%. Further, a water repellent finish in the state of a filament and then twisting it into a yarn is preferable because it has good water repellency and long lasting water repellency.
In the present invention, the thread used for the lower thread in the ground stitch and the decorative stitch is a wooly processed thread (that is, a bulky processed thread) having water repellency. In the present invention, the wooly processed yarn is not a highly stretchable yarn but a low stretchable yarn, and has an elongation of 25 to 40%, preferably the same as the upper yarn.
From the viewpoint of ease of sewing, it is preferable that the thicknesses (dtex) of the upper thread and the lower thread are not so different. In addition, when it is the same thickness, since the filament yarn is thin and the wooly processed yarn is bulky and fluffy, it looks thick.
Further, the thread of the ground stitch and the thread of the decorative stitch may be the same thickness, or may be different from making the thread of the decorative stitch thick.
In the sewing machine according to the present invention, the number of stitches per 3 cm is 15 or more in the case of ground stitching, and the number of stitches per 3 cm is 8 to 14 in the decorative stitch. The sewing needle is preferably a slim point sewing needle having a ball point at the needle tip.
Hereinafter, the stitch structure of the present invention will be described in detail based on the embodiments shown in the drawings.
1 to 4 show a first embodiment of the seam structure of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, a waterproof or water-repellent
FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view schematically showing the
Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the overlapping
An experiment on water leakage resistance by the stitches was performed as follows.
Affix test paper (filter paper) to the platform. On top of that, clothes sewn with the seam structure of the present invention were put on, and rained for 20 minutes at a rainfall rate of 20 ± 2 mm / h from the upper part of the human base 130 cm by an artificial rain apparatus.
After raining, the clothes were removed and the inside of the filter paper was checked to see if it was wet.
5 to 8 show a second embodiment of the seam structure of the present invention.
In this embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the
In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, the
