Claims (14)
- 第1電極および第2電極を含む電極アセンブリと、
前記電極アセンブリが収容されるケースと、
前記ケースの開口を密閉するキャッププレートと、
前記ケースの外側に突出し、前記第1電極と電気的に連結される第1端子と、
前記ケースの外側に突出し、前記第2電極と電気的に連結される第2端子と、
互いに間隔をおいて位置する第1ヒューズ部および第2ヒューズ部であって、前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部の周辺の部分よりも小さい断面積を有する前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部を含み、前記第1電極に電気的に連結される集電部材と、
前記第1ヒューズ部と前記第2ヒューズ部との間において前記集電部材に結合され、前記キャッププレートおよび前記集電部材に電気的に連結され、前記第1端子の抵抗より小さい抵抗を有する連結部材と、
内部圧力が上昇した際に、前記キャッププレートと前記第2端子と電気的に連結して、前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部を通過する短絡電流を発生させる短絡部材と、
を含むことを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記集電部材は、
前記第1電極に結合される集電片と、前記第1端子に結合される結合ホールを含む上板とを含み、
前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部は、前記集電片と前記結合ホールとの間に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記集電部材は、
前記上板から折り曲げられる側板をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部は、前記上板に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部のそれぞれは、前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部のそれぞれの中央に形成されるヒューズホールを含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部のそれぞれは、前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部のそれぞれの側面に形成される1つ以上のヒューズ溝を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記連結部材は、
連結タブと、前記連結タブの一側から折り曲げられて形成される第1接合部と、前記連結タブの前記一側の反対側に位置した他側から折り曲げられて形成される第2接合部とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1ヒューズ部は、前記上板に形成され、前記第2ヒューズ部は、前記側板に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1ヒューズ部は、前記第1ヒューズ部の中央に形成されたヒューズホールを有し、
前記第2ヒューズ部は、前記第2ヒューズ部の側面に形成されるヒューズ溝を有し、
前記第2ヒューズ部の断面積は、前記第1ヒューズ部の断面積より小さいことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1ヒューズ部および前記第2ヒューズ部のそれぞれは、前記短絡部材が溶融する前に溶融することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記連結部材を構成する物質の単位当たりの抵抗と、前記第1端子を構成する物質の単位当たりの抵抗とが等しい時、前記連結部材の大きさは、前記第1端子の大きさより小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1端子と前記キャッププレートとは、端子絶縁部材によって電気的に絶縁されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池および他の少なくとも1つの二次電池を含む電池モジュールにおいて、
複数の前記二次電池は、電気的に並列に連結されており、
前記第1電極および前記第2電極が短絡によって電気的に連結される時、短絡電流の第1部分が、前記第1電極から前記第2電極に前記連結部材を経由して流れ、前記短絡電流の第2部分が、前記第1電極から前記第2電極に前記連結部材と前記第1ヒューズ部を経由して流れ、
前記短絡電流の前記第2部分は、前記短絡電流の前記第1部分より大きいことを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池および他の少なくとも1つの二次電池を含む電池モジュールにおいて、
複数の前記二次電池は、電気的に直列に連結されていることを特徴とする、電池モジュール。
