Description
本出願は、2015年9月30日に出願された米国特許出願第14/870,848号および2015年2月4日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/111,730号の利益および優先権を主張し、これらの開示内容はその全体が参照によって本明細書に取り込まれる。
技術分野
本明細書および添付された特許請求の範囲のために、以下の用語が定義される。
通常の一次結晶構成ブロック単位格子からつくられたモレキュラーシーブであって、その単位格子がMWW骨格構造トポロジーを有するもの。(単位格子は原子の空間配置であり、3次元空間に嵌め込まれるとその結晶構造を記述する。このような結晶構造は「ゼオライト骨格構造型のアトラス」、第5版、2001年刊で検討されており、その全内容は参照によって取り込まれる。)
通常の二次構成ブロックからつくられたモレキュラーシーブであって、この二次構成ブロックはそのようなMWW骨格構造トポロジー単位格子の2次元嵌め込みであり、1個の単位格子の厚さ、好ましくは1個のc軸単位格子の厚さの単層を形成するもの。
通常の二次構成ブロックからつくられたモレキュラーシーブであって、この二次構成ブロックは1個以上の単位格子の厚さの層であり、1個より多い単位格子の厚さの層は1個の単位格子の厚さの少なくとも2つの単層を積み重ね、詰め込みまたは結合することによってつくられる。そのような二次構成ブロックの積み重ねは、規則的な様式、不規則な様式、ランダムの様式またはこれらの任意の組み合わせであってもよいもの。および
任意の規則的なまたはランダムの、2次元または3次元のMWW骨格構造トポロジーを有する単位格子の組み合わせによってつくられたモレキュラーシーブ。
触媒組成物
a)ケイ素源、アルミニウム源、アルカリ金属(M)水酸化物、テトラエチルアンモニウムカチオン(TEA)、メチルトリエチルアンモニウム(MTEA)およびこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれた構造指向剤(SDA)の源、任意的な種結晶および水を含んでいる合成混合物を準備する工程であって、当該合成混合物が以下のモル比を含む組成物を有する工程
b)当該合成混合物を結晶化条件に付して、その細孔内に構造指向剤(SDA)を含んでいるモルデナイトゼオライトの結晶を形成する工程。合成混合物の成分は一緒にされ、結晶化条件の下に維持される。

アルファ値
メソモルデナイト結晶が、9,300gの水、804gの臭化テトラエチルアンモニウム(TEABr)(50%溶液)、2,544gのウルトラシルPM変性シリカ、584gのアルミン酸ナトリウム溶液(45%)および612gの50%水酸化ナトリウム溶液から調製された混合物から合成された。次に、30gのモルデナイトの種がこの混合物に添加された。得られた混合物は以下のモル組成を有していた。
触媒が、混和機中で65部(538℃で焼成されたものを基準)の実施例1からのメソモルデナイト結晶および15部のZSM−5(米国特許第3,702,886号によってつくられ、538℃で焼成され、約60/1のSi/Al2モル比を有するものを基準)および20部のアルミナ(538℃で焼成されたものを基準)の混合物からつくられた。十分な水が添加されて、押出機で押し出し可能なペーストが製造された。メソモルデナイト、ZSM−5、アルミナおよび水の混合物が、押し出し成形物へと押し出され、それから121℃で乾燥された。乾燥された押し出し成形物は、538℃で窒素(N2)中で焼成されて、有機テンプレートが分解され除去された。N2焼成された押し出し成形物は飽和空気で湿らされ、1Nの硝酸アンモニウムで交換されて、ナトリウムが除かれた。硝酸アンモニウム交換の後、押し出し成形物は脱イオン水で洗われて残留する硝酸イオンが除かれ、その後乾燥された。アンモニウム交換された押し出し成形物は、121℃で乾かされ、538℃で空気中で焼成された。空気焼成の後に得られた触媒の特性は以下のとおりであった:アルファ値=570およびヘキサン吸着量53.5mg/g。
実施例2からの押し出し成形物(65/15/20重量比)が、インシピエントウェットネス含浸法で硝酸テトラアンモニウム白金として0.03重量%のPtを、および塩化Sn(II)として0.073重量%のSnを共含浸された(4:1のSn:Ptモル比)。触媒は680°F(360℃)で3時間空気中で焼成された。
実施例2からの押し出し成形物(65/15/20重量比)が、インシピエントウェットネス含浸法で硝酸テトラアンモニウム白金として0.03重量%のPtを、および硝酸銅(II)2.5水和物として0.06重量%のCuを共含浸された(6:1のCu:Ptモル比)。触媒は680°F(360℃)で3時間空気中で焼成された。
実施例2からの押し出し成形物(65/15/20重量比)が、インシピエントウェットネス含浸法で硝酸テトラアンモニウム白金として0.03重量%のPtを、および硝酸銅(II)2.5水和物として0.12重量%のCuを共含浸された(12:1のCu:Ptモル比)。触媒は680°F(360℃)で3時間空気中で焼成された。
実施例2からの押し出し成形物(65/15/20重量比)が、インシピエントウェットネス含浸法で硝酸テトラアンモニウム白金として0.03重量%のPtを、および硝酸ガリウム(III)として0.064重量%のGaを共含浸された(6:1のGa:Ptモル比)。触媒は680°F(360℃)で3時間空気中で焼成された。
実施例2からの押し出し成形物(65/15/20重量比)が、インシピエントウェットネス含浸法で硝酸テトラアンモニウム白金として0.03重量%のPtを、および硝酸ガリウム(III)として0.13重量%のGaを共含浸された(12:1のGa:Ptモル比)。触媒は680°F(360℃)で3時間空気中で焼成された。
金属の機能が、実施例2からの押し出し成形物(65重量%のメソモルデナイト、15重量%の非凝集性小結晶ZSM−5および20重量%のアルミナ)に2元金属系を含浸することによって調べられた。実施例3〜7における触媒が以下の表4に同定された供給原料ブレンドを使用してマイクロユニットリアクター中で評価された。

実施例15からの触媒が、大気圧における完全なスチーム中で600°F(316℃)で4時間スチーミングされた。
実施例15からの触媒が、大気圧における完全なスチーム中で800°F(427℃)で4時間スチーミングされた。
メソモルデナイトおよびZSM−5またはZSM−11からつくられかつ2種の異なる金属を有する共押し出し成形物が、性能を調べられた。実施例9〜22の触媒が、上記の表4で同定された供給原料ブレンドを使用してマイクロユニットリアクター中で評価された。3〜4グラムの各触媒がそれぞれリアクターに充填された。触媒は水素中で加熱され、770°F(410℃)で活性化された。温度がそれから806°F(430℃)に上げられ、液体供給原料が12時間の脱エッジングの期間導入された。脱エッジング期間に引き続いて、条件が変更されて触媒性能が評価された。脱エッジングの条件およびその後の反応条件は以下のとおりである:脱エッジングの条件:WHSV=3時間−1、H2/HC=1、温度=12時間にわたって806°F(430℃)および圧力=391psig(2696kPa)。温度走査条件:WHSV=3時間−1、H2/HC=3、温度=716°F(380℃)および圧力=391psig(2696kPa)。生成物はオンラインGCによって分析された。実施例4および9〜22についての性能比較が以下の表6に記載されている。

触媒の活性が、メソモルデナイトおよびZSM−5ゼオライト含有量を変化させることによって調べられた。実施例19〜24における触媒が以下の表7に同定された供給原料ブレンドを使用してマイクロユニットリアクター中で評価された。

Claims (10)
- C8+芳香族炭化水素をより軽質の芳香族製品に転化するための触媒組成物であって、前記触媒組成物が
(i)3〜12の拘束指数を有する第1のゼオライト、
(ii)TEAまたはMTEAから合成されたモルデナイトゼオライトを含んでいる第2のゼオライト、
(iii)IUPAC周期表の10族の少なくとも1種の第1の金属、および
(iv)IUPAC周期表の11〜15族の少なくとも1種の第2の金属
を含んでおり、
前記モルデナイトゼオライトが30m2/gを超えるメソ細孔表面積を有し、かつ前記モルデナイトゼオライトが一次微結晶から構成された凝集体を含んでおり、前記一次微結晶が80nm未満のTEMによって測定された平均一次結晶サイズおよび2未満のアスペクト比を有する、触媒組成物。 - 前記3〜12の拘束指数を有する第1のゼオライトが、ZSM−5、ZSM−11、ZSM−22、ZSM−23、ZSM−35、ZSM−48、ZSM−50、ZSM−57、ZSM−58、MCM−22型材料およびこれらの2種以上の混合物から成る群から選ばれたものであり、前記MCM−22型材料が、MCM−22、PSH−3、SSZ−25、MCM−36、MCM−49、MCM−56、ERB−1、EMM−10、EMM−10−P、EMM−12、EMM−13、UZM−8、UZM−8HS、ITQ−1、ITQ−2、ITQ−30およびこれらの2種以上の混合物から成る群から選ばれたものである、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物が、
前記触媒組成物の重量基準で0.005〜5.0重量%の10族の少なくとも1種の第1の金属、
前記触媒組成物の重量基準で0.01〜1.5重量%の11〜15族の少なくとも1種の第2の金属、および
アルミナ、シリカ、クレー、チタニア、ジルコニアおよびこれらの2種以上の混合物から成る群から選ばれた少なくとも1種のバインダー
を含んでいる、請求項1または2に記載の触媒組成物。 - C 8 +芳香族炭化水素をより軽質の芳香族製品に転化するための触媒組成物であって、前記触媒組成物が
(i)TEAまたはMTEAから合成されたモルデナイトゼオライト、
(ii)ZSM−5ゼオライトまたはZSM−11ゼオライト、
(iii)前記触媒組成物の重量基準で0.005重量%〜5.0重量%のIUPAC周期表の10族の少なくとも1種の第1の金属、および
(iv)前記触媒組成物の重量基準で0.01〜5.0重量%のIUPAC周期表の11〜15族の少なくとも1種の第2の金属
を含んでおり、
前記モルデナイトゼオライトが30m2/gを超えるメソ細孔表面積を有し、かつ前記モルデナイトゼオライトが一次微結晶から構成された凝集体を含んでおり、前記一次微結晶が80nm未満のTEMによって測定された平均一次結晶サイズおよび2未満のアスペクト比を有する、触媒組成物。 - 前記10族の少なくとも1種の第1の金属が、ニッケル、白金、パラジウムおよびこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれたものである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記11〜15族の少なくとも1種の第2の金属が、銅、亜鉛、銀、ガリウム、インジウム、スズ、ビスマスおよびこれらの2種以上の混合物から成る群から選ばれたものである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記一次微結晶の個数による少なくとも90%が、TEMによって測定された80nm未満の一次結晶サイズを有し、前記モルデナイトゼオライトが500m2/gを超える全表面積を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の触媒組成物。
- C8+芳香族炭化水素を含んでいる供給原料をより軽質の芳香族製品に転化するプロセスであって、前記プロセスがベンゼン、トルエンおよびキシレンを含んでいる前記の、より軽質の芳香族製品を製造するのに適した転化条件の下で、触媒組成物の存在において前記供給原料および任意的な水素を接触させる工程を含み、前記触媒組成物が
(i)3〜12の拘束指数を有する第1のゼオライト、
(ii)TEAまたはMTEAから合成されたモルデナイトゼオライトを含んでいる第2のゼオライト、
(iii)IUPAC周期表の10族の少なくとも1種の第1の金属、および
(iv)IUPAC周期表の11〜15族の少なくとも1種の第2の金属
を含んでおり、
前記モルデナイトゼオライトが30m2/gを超えるメソ細孔表面積を有し、かつ前記モルデナイトゼオライトが一次微結晶から構成された凝集体を含んでおり、前記一次微結晶が80nm未満のTEMによって測定された平均一次結晶サイズおよび2未満のアスペクト比を有する、プロセス。 - 前記供給原料がベンゼンまたはトルエンまたはこれらの両方をさらに含んでおり、前記の、より軽質の芳香族製品が、キシレン、ベンゼン、トルエンまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物を含んでいる、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項8に記載のプロセスであって、前記適した転化条件が、少なくとも340℃〜515℃の温度、380kPa(55psia)〜4240kPa(615psia)の圧力および前記供給原料の重量基準で1〜100時間−1の範囲の重量空間速度(WHSV)を含み、請求項8に記載のプロセスが、前記適した転化条件の下で前記供給原料を接触させる工程のためのリアクターをさらに含んでおり、前記リアクターが前記触媒組成物の少なくとも1個の単一固定触媒床あるいは前記触媒組成物の少なくとも1個の流動床のいずれかを含んでいる、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
