本発明の一実施の形態に係る配線基板の製造方法は、低い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第1の化合物と、第1の化合物よりも高い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第2の化合物とを含有する樹脂組成物を、所望の表面自由エネルギー差のパターンが形成された原版に接触させて硬化させ、原版の表面自由エネルギー差のパターンが転写された基材を得る転写工程と、基材のパターン転写面に導電性塗布組成物を塗布し、導体パターンを形成する導体パターン形成工程とを有する。
転写工程では、先ず、低い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第1の化合物と、第1の化合物よりも高い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第2の化合物とを含有する樹脂組成物を調製する。樹脂組成物としては、アクリル樹脂、エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられ、これら中でも、硬化反応が速い光硬化型のアクリル樹脂組成物が好適に用いられる。以下では、第1の化合物と、第2の化合物と、光重合開始剤とを含有する光硬化型のアクリル樹脂組成物を例に挙げて説明する。
上記(1)式中、γmは原版20表面の表面自由エネルギーであり、γiは樹脂組成物12表面の表面自由エネルギーである。
導体パターン形成工程では、基材のパターン転写面に導電性塗布組成物を塗布し、導体パターンを形成する。導体パターンは、高表面自由エネルギー部分又は低表面自由エネルギー部分に選択的に形成される。
本発明の一実施の形態に係る配線基板は、高表面自由エネルギー領域及び低表面自由エネルギー領域のパターンを有する基材と、高表面自由エネルギー領域上に形成された導体パターンとを備える。
以下、本発明の実施例について詳細に説明する。本実施例では、低い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第1の化合物と、第1の化合物よりも高い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第2の化合物とを含有する樹脂組成物を、所望の表面自由エネルギー差のパターンが形成された原版に接触させて硬化させ、原版の表面自由エネルギー差のパターンが転写された基材を作製し、基材のパターン転写面に親水性の導電性塗布組成物を塗布し、導体パターンを形成した。そして、導体パターンを光学顕微鏡、及びAFM(Atomic Force Microscope)により観察した。なお、本発明はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。
顕微鏡:VHX−1000(株式会社キーエンス製)
AFM:SPA400(株式会社日立ハイテクサイエンス製)
先ず、10cm×10cmのガラス基板にネガ型フォトレジスト(商品名:OFPR−800LB、東京応化工業社製)をスピンコート法により塗布し、110℃、90秒ホットプレート上で乾燥させた。フォトレジストがコーティングされた基板と、下記パターンがパターニングされたフォトマスクA〜Cを配置し、露光機A(マスクアライナー MA−20、ミカサ(株))で露光した。
フォトマスクB:5μmのドットピッチ
フォトマスクC:0.5μmのライン&スペース
TMM−3Lを80質量部、OTA−480を15質量部、AE−400を5質量部、KY−1203を1質量部、イルガキュア184を3質量部添加し、樹脂組成物を調製した。
OTA−480(ダイセル・オルネクス(株)):プロピレングリコール変性グリセリントリアクリレート
AE−400(日油(株)):ポリエチレングリコールモノアクリレート #400
KY−1203(信越化学工業(株)):パーフルオロポリエーテル含有アクリレート
イルガキュア184(BASF(株)):1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン
導電性塗布組成物として、InkTec(株)の商品名「TEC−PR−010」(金属:Ag、金属含量:10%、粘度:100−800Pa・S、外観:無色透明)を使用した。導電性塗布組成物をサンプル瓶に充填し、基材A〜Cをディップし、1cm/minのスピードで垂直に引き上げた。引き上げ後、120℃で5分間、ホットプレート上で乾燥した。この操作を5回繰り返し、基材A〜Cに導体パターンを形成した。
導電性塗布組成物として、InkTec(株)の商品名「TEC−IJ−010」(金属:Ag、金属含量:15%、表面張力:30−32mN/m、粘度:9−15Pa・S、外観:淡黄色透明)を使用した。これ以外は、実施例1と同様に、基材A〜Cに導体パターンを形成した。
Claims (8)
- 低い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第1の化合物と、前記第1の化合物よりも高い表面自由エネルギーを発現させる第2の化合物とを含有する樹脂組成物を、所望の表面自由エネルギー差のパターンが形成された原版に接触させて硬化させ、原版の表面自由エネルギー差のパターンが転写された基材を得る転写工程と、
前記基材のパターン転写面に導電性塗布組成物を塗布し、導体パターンを形成する導体パターン形成工程とを有する配線基板の製造方法。 - 前記基材が、高表面自由エネルギー領域及び低表面自由エネルギー領域のパターンを有し、
前記高表面自由エネルギー領域の表面自由エネルギーが、20〜60mJ/cm2であり、
前記低表面自由エネルギー領域の表面自由エネルギーが、10〜25mJ/cm2である請求項1記載の配線基板の製造方法。 - 前記導電性塗布組成物が、銀を含有する請求項1又は2記載の配線基板の製造方法。
- 前記第1の化合物が、パーフルオロポリエーテル誘導体である請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の配線基板の製造方法。
- 前記樹脂組成物が、光硬化型のアクリル樹脂組成物であり、
前記第1の化合物が、パーフルオロポリエーテル基含有(メタ)アクリレートである請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の配線基板の製造方法。 - 高表面自由エネルギー領域及び低表面自由エネルギー領域のパターンを有する基材と、
前記高表面自由エネルギー領域上に形成された導体パターンとを備え、
前記導体パターンが、前記高表面自由エネルギー領域上に形成され、
前記低表面自由エネルギー領域の表面自由エネルギーが、10〜25mJ/cm 2 であり、
前記高表面自由エネルギー領域と前記低表面自由エネルギー領域とが、光学的に平滑である配線基板。 - 前記高表面自由エネルギー領域と前記低表面自由エネルギー領域との段差が10nm未満である請求項6記載の配線基板。
- 前記高表面自由エネルギー領域の表面自由エネルギーが、20〜60mJ/cm 2 である請求項6記載の配線基板。
