Description
図1はこの発明における実施の形態1及び実施の形態2の表示装置に共通する全体構成を示す平面図であり、図2は、図1におけるA−A断面を示す断面図である。なお、図1においてXY直交座標系を示している。
以下、表示装置100の断面構造を参照することにより、本願発明に係る実施の形態1であるCF付タッチパネル基板30A(タッチパネル構造)について説明する。図3は、図1に示す表示領域A7におけるB−B断面、及びX位置検知用配線2及びY位置検知用配線3用の引出配線領域A8の各端子部を抽出し抽象化した実施の形態1の断面構造を示す断面図である。
以下、表示装置100の断面構造を参照することにより、本願発明に係る実施の形態2であるCF付タッチパネル基板30B(タッチパネル構造)について説明する。図24は、図1に示す表示領域A7におけるB−B断面、及びX位置検知用配線2及びY位置検知用配線3用の引出配線領域A8の各端子部を抽出し抽象化した実施の形態2の断面構造を示す断面図である。以下、実施の形態1のCF付タッチパネル基板30Aと同様な構成部について同一符号を付して適宜、説明を省略し、実施の形態1と異なる点を中心に説明する。
本願出願人は、実施の形態1及び実施の形態2を含む本願発明に先駆けて、同様な目的を達成するための非公知の先行発明(特願2014−130972)を創作している。
なお、表示面側(観察者側)の最表層には、強度をもたせるために、保護板ガラスを粘着材などで張り合わせた構成とすると耐久性が向上する。
Claims (4)
- (a) 一方主面及び他方主面を有する基板を準備するステップと、
(b) 前記基板の一方主面上に表示領域と引出配線領域とを有するタッチセンサー層の主要部を形成するステップと、
(c) 前記ステップ(b) の実行後に、前記基板の他方主面上にカラーフィルター層を形成するステップとを備え、前記カラーフィルター層は前記タッチセンサー層の前記表示領域と平面視重複して形成され、
(d) 前記ステップ(c) の実行後に、前記引出配線領域において、外部接続用の外部端子部を形成するステップをさらに備え、
前記ステップ(b) は、
(b-1) 前記基板上に、導電膜、低反射膜及び透明膜の順で積層される積層配線を形成するステップと、
(b-2) 前記積層配線を覆って絶縁膜を形成するステップと、
(b-3) 前記引出配線領域において、前記絶縁膜を貫通して、露出した前記透明膜の表面を底面とした中途開口部を選択的に形成するステップとを含み、
前記ステップ(d) は、
(d-1) 前記中途開口部の底面における前記透明膜を少なくとも貫通して最終開口部を形成するステップを含み、前記外部端子部は、前記最終開口部の底面下における前記導電膜を少なくとも含んで構成される、

前記ステップ(d-1) は、
(d-1-1) 前記中途開口部の底面における前記透明膜及び前記低反射膜を貫通して、露出した前記導電膜の表面を底面とする前記最終開口部を形成するステップを含み、前記外部端子部は、前記最終開口部の底面下における前記導電膜により構成される、
タッチパネル構造の製造方法。 - 請求項1記載のタッチパネル構造の製造方法であって、
前記ステップ(d-1) は、
(d-1-2) 前記中途開口部の底面における前記透明膜を貫通して、露出した低反射膜の表面を底面とする前記最終開口部を形成するステップを含み、前記外部端子部は、前記最終開口部の底面下における前記低反射膜及び前記導電膜により構成される、
タッチパネル構造の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項3のうち、いずれか1項に記載のタッチパネル構造の製造方法を用いて前記タッチパネル構造を得るステップと、
前記表示領域における前記絶縁膜側が表示観察面となるように、液晶部及びその駆動部を含む前記タッチパネル構造以外の構造を形成するステップと、
を備える、
表示装置の製造方法。
