Claims (4)
- (Gd 3-x-y Lu x+a Ce y )(Al 2.5 Ga z-a )O 12 により表される組成を有し実質的にセラミック又は多結晶の構造を備え、300ns未満の減衰時間を有するガーネットシンチレータ材料を含むガンマ光子検出器であって、xは0.3であり、zは2.5であり、yは0.003〜0.03の範囲内であってセリウムの量が0.1モル%〜1.0モル%の範囲内であり、z-aは2.41〜2.51の範囲内であり、前記ガーネットシンチレータ材料は、5cm 2 未満の作用面積を有する光検出器に光学的に通じ、前記光検出器はシリコンアバランシェフォトダイオード又はシリコン光増倍器を含む、ガンマ光子検出器。
- 前記光検出器が構造n+-i-p+を有し、n+層がp+層より前記ガーネットシンチレータ材料との界面の近くに配置される、請求項1に記載のガンマ光子検出器。
- 撮像領域を有すると共に、請求項1に記載のガンマ光子検出器を少なくとも2つ有するPET撮像システムであって、前記ガンマ光子検出器は前記撮像領域の半径方向周囲に配置されて、該撮像領域からのガンマ光子を受信する、PET撮像システム。
- 飛行時間(TOF)型PET撮像システムである、請求項3に記載のPET撮像システム。
