Description
Embodiments described herein relate generally to a transformer for a converter used for DC power transmission.
In recent years, direct current power transmission having many merits in system operation has been used for large-capacity power transmission, long-distance power transmission, and linkage of power systems of different frequencies. In some areas in Japan, ± 250 kV DC transmission that links AC systems is implemented. In some countries, ± 800 kV direct current power transmission is implemented.
In such direct current power transmission, an AC / DC converter station for converting alternating current into direct current or direct current into alternating current is installed. In this AC / DC converter station, an AC voltage input from an AC line is converted into a DC voltage by a thyristor valve, which is an AC / DC converter, through a conversion transformer and transmitted to the DC line.
The transformer transformer is mainly oil-insulated. An oil-insulated transformer for a converter has a configuration in which an AC winding and a DC winding are concentrically housed in a tank container filled with insulating oil. The insulating oil is used not only for insulation but also as a cooling medium for cooling the winding. The AC winding is connected to the AC line, and the DC winding is connected to the thyristor valve via leads.
During operation of the transformer for conversion, a DC voltage is applied to the DC winding connected to the thyristor valve in addition to the transformed AC voltage. Therefore, the DC voltage is applied to the connection between the transformer for transformer and the thyristor valve. Insulation design is required.
As a configuration for that purpose, for example, a DC lead is connected to a bushing in oil via a connection terminal, and is pulled out from the bushing to the air and connected to a thyristor valve.
Further, for example, it is conceivable to connect the direct current lead to the thyristor valve via another gas insulation device such as a gas insulation bus. Since the main insulation medium of gas insulation equipment such as a gas insulation bus is SF 6 gas, an insulation spacer is provided at the connection between the gas insulation equipment and the transformer for transformer to separate the SF 6 gas from the insulation oil. The DC lead of the transformer for transformer and the conductor of the gas insulation device are connected to each other through the connection conductor in the insulating spacer.
A connection shield for reinforcing the insulation is arranged around the DC lead and the connection terminal or around the DC lead and the connection conductor.
The connection shield is constructed by covering the outer surface of the coaxial cylindrical shield electrode with a paper mold insulation, and on the outside of the connection shield is an insulation made of pressboard to strengthen the insulation between the connection shield and the lead duct container. A barrier is placed.
When a DC voltage is applied to the DC lead, a high electric field is generated around the connection conductor. However, the concentrated DC equipotential lines are transferred to the mold insulator and insulation barrier of the connection shield via the insulating oil, and the electric field is concentrated. Is alleviated.
When a DC voltage is applied to the DC lead, an electric field is generated on the creeping surface of the insulating spacer in a direction parallel to the creeping surface. Since the insulating spacer is connected to the connection conductor, which is an electrode that is not insulated, the breakdown electric field may be lower than that of the insulating oil alone.
Therefore, it is conceivable to cover the connection conductor with insulating paper. However, since the insulating paper has a higher volume resistivity than the insulating oil, a high electric field is applied to the coated insulating paper, and the DC equipotential line may pass through the coated insulating paper and enter the inside of the connection shield. Inside the connection shield, there are exposed portions of the metal part such as the surface of the connection conductor and the inner surface of the connection shield. When a DC equipotential line enters the inside of the connection shield, the metal part is charged with a DC voltage, and there is a possibility that the insulation performance as a shield is lowered.
Also, in the vicinity of the triple contact point of the insulating spacer, insulating oil, and insulating paper, the DC equipotential line moves from the insulating spacer to the insulating paper covering the lead connection conductor via the insulating oil, so the electric field of the insulating oil increases. Or a new creeping electric field is generated between different insulating materials of the insulating spacer and the coated insulating paper. As a result, a high electric field is applied to the coated insulating paper, and there is a possibility that the insulating performance is degraded.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the embodiment of the present invention improves the DC insulation performance of the connecting portion and improves the reliability when connecting the DC lead of the transformer for transformer to other equipment such as gas insulation equipment. An object of the present invention is to provide a transformer for a converter having a high height.

A connecting portion connected to the connecting portion, the connecting portion including a conductor including a metal portion exposed in the insulating oil and charged with a DC voltage around the connecting portion, and the surface of the conductor is covered with the insulating oil. The conductor is a connecting conductor that connects the DC lead and the gas insulating device outside the container through an insulating spacer, and the surface of the connecting conductor is insulated. The connection portion is further provided with a connection shield disposed so as to cover the connection conductor and the DC lead, and the inner surface of the connection shield is covered with the insulating material .
Hereinafter, the transformer for converters concerning an embodiment is explained with reference to drawings.
[1. First Embodiment]
(Constitution)
First, a general example of an AC / DC converter station provided with a converter transformer will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. As shown in FIG. 1, the AC / DC converter station is provided with a
Next, the overall configuration of the
In the present embodiment, a configuration in which the DC winding 260 and the
In the connecting
On the

A high voltage embedded
In this
In this embodiment, shellac insulating
As an applicable coating material, an alkyd type, a polyester type, and a xylene type varnish can be considered as long as they are insulating varnishes. In addition, the volume resistivity of an epoxy varnish is usually 10 15 Ωcm or higher and higher than that of an insulating oil. However, such a varnish having a high volume resistivity is mixed with a filler of metal or semiconductor particles. Therefore, it is possible to control and apply the volume resistivity to be equal to or lower than the insulating oil. As a coating material other than the insulating varnish, ceramic coating such as alumina and diamond carbon (DLC) coating can be applied.
(Function)
When a DC voltage is applied to the
Here, the state of the electric field generation will be described more specifically using the DC equipotential line distribution diagram of FIG. FIG. 4 shows a DC equipotential line in the case where the insulating
As the DC equipotential line 18 approaches the insulating
SF 6 Gas> Spacer (epoxy resin)> Paper material (press board, mold insulator, insulating paper)> Insulating oil
In the insulating
On the other hand, as indicated by a dotted
Here, in the configuration of the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, since the surface of the
In the present embodiment, the inner surface of the
(Example)
FIG. 5 shows the results verified in the model test in order to demonstrate that the DC insulation performance along the spacer surface is improved by using the insulating
In the model test, an epoxy sample made of the same material as the insulating
Comparing the results of
That is, when the electrode is coated with an insulating varnish having a volume resistivity smaller than that of the insulating oil, an effect of improving the DC insulating performance of the insulating
In the above description, the insulating
Power equipment such as the transformer for
As a management value of the insulating
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the volume resistivity of the insulating
From the above, if the insulating material is managed at a normal temperature value, the volume resistivity of the insulating

The volume resistivity of the insulating material needs to be determined in consideration of the influence of aging of the insulating

FIG. 8 shows a
A
A
The
(Function and effect)
In the second embodiment, the
As in the first embodiment, the direct current withstand voltage of the insulating
[3. Other Embodiments]
In the above-mentioned embodiment, although the aspect which coats the
In addition, with respect to the shield arranged in the connecting portion between the
