前記香料組成物がフレグランスを含み、
前記ポリマーシェルが重合形態で、
i)混合物中に、化合物(I)及び(II)の総質量の40質量%〜70質量%の化合物(I)と、
ii)混合物中に、化合物(I)及び(II)の総質量の30質量%〜60質量%の化合物(II)とを含む混合物を含有し、
前記化合物(I)が、ia)配合の総質量の50質量%〜100質量%の、pH7及び20℃で2g/100mL以上の水への溶解度を有する中性のモノメタクリレートモノマー(Ia)と、
ib)配合の総質量の0質量%〜50質量%の、他の中性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ib)と、
ic)配合の総質量の0質量%〜15質量%の、イオン化した、若しくはイオン化し得るモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ic)の配合であり、

マイクロカプセルが漏出試験製造手順に従って調製され、マイクロカプセルがフレグランスno.1を封入しており、漏出試験法に従い、試験液体基剤中、40℃で4週間の貯蔵により試験したときに、マイクロカプセルが60%未満のフレグランス漏出を示し、試験液体基剤、漏出試験法、漏出試験製造手順、及びフレグランスno.1は実施例に定義されているマイクロカプセル。
前記香料組成物がフレグランスを含み、
前記ポリマーシェルが重合形態で、
i)混合物中に、化合物(I)及び(II)の総質量の40質量%〜70質量%の化合物(I)と、
ii)混合物中に、化合物(I)及び(II)の総質量の30質量%〜60質量%の化合物(II)とを含む混合物を含有し、

B1.(メタ)アクリレートエステル基又はアミド基の数で一度割ると、85を超え、135未満の値を与える分子量を有するマイクロカプセル。
前記他の中性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ib)がメタクリル酸のC1−C24の直鎖若しくは分岐鎖状のアルキルエステルであり、メタクリル酸メチル及び/又はメタクリル酸エチルを含み、
前記化合物(II)がメタアクリル酸のC2−C24アルキルジ−又はポリエステルであり、1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート及び1,3−プロピレングリコールジメタクリレートの1以上を含む、前記1〜9のいずれか1に記載のマイクロカプセル。
a)油相及び水相を有する水中油型エマルションであって、重合開始剤、フレグランスを含む香料組成物、乳化剤、及び前記1〜12のいずれか1に記載の混合物を混合することにより得られる水中油型エマルションを提供する工程、
b)工程a)で得られた水中油型エマルション内で重合を誘発する工程;
c)重合を伝搬させてマイクロカプセルを得る工程。
ib)配合の総質量の0質量%〜50質量%、例えば0質量%〜40質量%、例えば0質量%〜30質量%の、他の中性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ib)と、
ic)配合の総質量の0質量%〜15質量%、例えば0質量%〜5質量%の、イオン化した、若しくはイオン化し得るモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ic)の配合である。

本明細書に開示された具体的な架橋剤(化合物(II))の選択と関連する漏出を評価するため、以下の製造を伴う。87〜89%まで加水分解された、Mw=85000〜124000g/モルのポリ(ビニルアルコール)4.0gを水196.0gに溶解し、水相を調製する。85.0gのフレグランスno.1;14.5gの2−ヒドロエチルメタクリレート、17.7gの架橋剤(化合物II)、0.9gの過酸化ラウロイルを混合することにより、油相を調製する。過酸化ラウロイルが完全に溶解するまで、この混合物を撹拌する。水相及び油相を、コンデンサ、温度計、窒素注入口及び解膠ブレード(直径4cm)を備えた500mLのバッチ式反応器に入れる。工程の間、混合物を900rpmで撹拌し、酸素を排除するために混合物に窒素を吹き込む。まず、混合物を20分間で室温から35℃まで加熱し、35℃にて1時間維持する。次いで、得られたエマルションを、30分間で70℃まで加熱し、70℃にて4時間維持する。最後に、得られたマイクロカプセル分散液を1時間で室温まで冷却する。
体積中央径及びスパンを、レーザー回折/散乱粒径分布分析計(株式会社堀場製作所により製造された、商品名:LA−950V2)を用いて測定した。分散剤は18MΩ水であった。数滴のエマルション又はカプセル分散液を、レーザー光遮蔽が達成されるまでフローセルユニットに注いだ後、3回の測定を実施した。粒径測定の計算のために、屈折率を、1.33(水分散剤について)及び1.47(フレグレンス及びポリ(メタクリレート)カプセルについて)に設定した。体積中央カプセル径は、体積をベースとして50%の頻度のサイズ(メジアン径)として測定した。スパンは後述するようにして計算した。粒径は10μmより大きい可能性があるので、フラウンホーファー近似(不透明な粒子、幾何光学規則)による結果の分析も関連しており、有効な寸法の決定を導いている。この場合、屈折率は必要でない。
約3gのスラリーをアルミニウム秤量皿中で秤量し、水を除去するために、105℃で2時間乾燥させた。次いで、室温で乾燥試料の質量を測定し、分散液の質量と比較した。

87〜89%まで加水分解された、Mw=85000〜124000g/モルのポリ(ビニルアルコール)を水に溶解することにより、10%ポリ(ビニルアルコール)水溶液を前もって調製した。6.5〜8.5のpHの水200gに、以下の順番に、24.0gの2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、0.5gの1% MAPTAC水溶液、及び1.23gのAerosil(登録商標)200シリカを導入した。分散液を30分間撹拌した。150gのフレグランスno.1、29gの1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート、及び重合開始剤を混合することにより、油相を調製した。重合開始剤が完全に溶解するまで、この混合物を撹拌した。油相及びシリカの水分散液を、高せん断ミキサー(直径40/54mmのDispermixヘッドを備えたYstral X 10/20 E3−1050 W)を用いて、10000rpmで1分間、一緒に撹拌した。この段階で、得られたエマルションは、0.75未満のスパン数を有していた。エマルションを、コンデンサ、温度計、窒素注入口及びアンカースターラーを備えたバッチ式反応器に入れた。既知量の10%ポリ(ビニルアルコール)水溶液を、水相中のポリ(ビニルアルコール)の総質量濃度が2.6%となるように加え、混合物を10分間撹拌した。試料18においては、その後、追加量のMAPTACを加えた(詳細については下記表を参照のこと)。以下の工程の間、混合物を250rpmで撹拌し、酸素を排除するために混合物に窒素を吹き込んだ。最初は温度を、30分間、温度T1に固定した後、1時間で温度T2まで上昇させた。混合物をこの温度T2に3時間維持した。最後に、得られたマイクロカプセル分散液を1時間で室温まで冷却した。得られたマイクロカプセル分散液の体積中央径及びスパン数を、後述するカプセル粒径測定法により測定した。
フレグランスの漏出は、封入されたフレグランスに対する、基剤中に遊離したフレグランスの比である。フレグランスは柔軟仕上げ剤中に放出され、スラリー中の封入されたフレグランスの量を、溶媒による抽出、及びガスクロマトグラフィーによる分析により測定する。
まず、スパーテルで撹拌することにより、スラリーを均質化する。150mgのスラリーを取り出す。20mLのエタノール及び100μLの内部標準溶液を加える。混合物を超音波浴中に30分間置く。混合物を0.45μmのAcrodiscフィルターでろ過した後、GC/FID(フレームイオン化器を備えたガスクロマトグラフィー)により分析する。積分面積は、Agilent(登録商標)Chemstationソフトウェアを用い、FIDシグナルから決定する。抽出を3回繰り返し、分析した。内部標準液は、100mg/mL濃度の、デカン酸メチルのエタノール溶液である。
38.4質量%のマイクロカプセルを含む水分散液(乾燥スラリーの総質量により表した%)及び液体基剤(組成については以下を参照のこと)の混合物を調製し、40℃の温度に調節したオーブン中のガラス瓶に、1/2/4/8週間貯蔵する。マイクロカプセルの水分散液の最終濃度は、柔軟剤及び洗濯洗剤における用途については0.5質量%であり、他の用途については1質量%である。貯蔵のそれぞれの時間の後に、混合物を振盪し、10gを取り出す。この試料を遠心分離し、カプセルから液体を分離する。遠心分離した液体1gをセライト(珪藻土)1gと混合する。545.5mLのペンタン及び50μLの内部標準溶液(組成については以下を参照のこと)を加える。混合物をローラーベッド上で1時間混合する。次いで、上清をGC/FID(フレームイオン化検出器を用いたガスクロマトグラフィー装置)に注入する。積分面積は、Agilent(登録商標)Chemstationソフトウェアを用い、FIDシグナルから決定した。各抽出物について3回分析する。

次いで、香気強度は、二重盲検法としての試験フレグランスの臭いに精通した訓練された査定者のパネルにより評価した。両手を拭き取った前後に、試料の強度について評価した。各パネリストは、新しい布のセットを評価した。スコアは、0(顕著な香りなし)から4(非常に強い香り)の間隔尺度で付与された。
前記に特定した一般的製造手順に従い、フレグランス1、及び油相中の27.3%の割合の混合物を使用して、試料19及び20を調製した。以下の表は、合成の結果、及び洗濯機サイクル後の綿のタオル地のミトンにおける本発明のカプセルの嗅覚性能を示す。

- ポリマーシェル内に封入された香料組成物を含むマイクロカプセルであって、
前記香料組成物がフレグランスを含み、

前記化合物(I)が、ia)配合の総質量の50質量%〜100質量%の、pH7及び20℃で2g/100mL以上の水への溶解度を有する中性のモノメタクリレートモノマー(Ia)と、
ib)配合の総質量の0質量%〜50質量%の、他の中性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ib)と、
ic)配合の総質量の0質量%〜15質量%の、イオン化した、若しくはイオン化し得るモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ic)との配合であり、
前記化合物(II)が、ジビニルベンゼン、トリビニルベンゼン、(メタ)アクリル酸と、直鎖若しくは分岐鎖のC 2 −C 24 多価アルコール及び/又はC 2 −C 24 ポリエチレングリコールとのエステル化により得られるジ−又はポリエステル、及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるポリエチレン性不飽和モノマーである、マイクロカプセル。 - 化合物(II)が、マイクロカプセルが漏出試験製造手順に従って調製され、マイクロカプセルがフレグランスno.1を封入しており、漏出試験法に従い、試験液体基剤中、40℃で4週間の貯蔵により試験したときに、マイクロカプセルが60%未満のフレグランス漏出を示すようなものであり、試験液体基剤、漏出試験法、漏出試験製造手順、及びフレグランスno.1が実施例に定義されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記化合物(II)が、(メタ)アクリル酸と、直鎖若しくは分岐鎖のC 2 −C 24 多価アルコール及び/又はC 2 −C 24 ポリエチレングリコールとのエステル化により得られるジ−又はポリエステルから選択されるポリエチレン性不飽和モノマーであり、前記化合物(II)が、
A1.1モノマーあたり2個以上の(メタ)アクリレートエステル基を含み、かつ
B1.(メタ)アクリレートエステル基の数で一度割ると、85を超え、135未満の値を与える分子量を有する、請求項1に記載のマイクロカプセル。 - 前記ポリマーシェルが、5nm〜1μmの平均一次粒径を有する固体コロイド粒子を更に含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記中性のモノメタクリレートモノマー(Ia)が、2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、2−ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート、3−ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート、グリシジルメタクリレート、トリエチレングリコールメチルエーテルメタクリレート;PEG300メタクリレートメチルエーテル、及びそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記中性のモノメタクリレートモノマー(Ia)が2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記他の中性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ib)が、メタクリル酸メチル及び/又はメタクリル酸エチルを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記化合物(II)が、(メタ)アクリル酸と、直鎖若しくは分岐鎖のC 2 −C 24 多価アルコール及び/又はC 2 −C 24 ポリエチレングリコールとのエステル化により得られるジ−又はポリエステルである、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記化合物(II)が、1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート及び1,3−プロピレングリコールジメタクリレートの1以上を含む、請求項8に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 前記中性のモノメタクリレートモノマー(Ia)が2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートを含み、
前記他の中性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー(Ib)がメタクリル酸のC1−C24の直鎖若しくは分岐鎖状のアルキルエステルであり、メタクリル酸メチル及び/又はメタクリル酸エチルを含み、
前記化合物(II)が(メタ)アクリル酸と、直鎖若しくは分岐鎖のC 2 −C 24 多価アルコール及び/又はC 2 −C 24 ポリエチレングリコールとのエステル化により得られるジ−又はポリエステルであり、1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート及び1,3−プロピレングリコールジメタクリレートの1以上を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。 - 前記混合物における、(メタ)アクリル酸、アクリル酸のC1−C24アルキルモノエステル及び(メタ)アクリル酸と直鎖若しくは分岐鎖のC 2 −C 24 多価アルコール及び/又はC 2 −C 24 ポリエチレングリコールとのエステル化により得られるポリエステルの含有量が、混合物の総質量の5質量%未満である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 化合物(I)及び(II)の合計量が、混合物の質量の100%となる、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセルを含む、水性分散液。
- ラジカル重合法であり、下記工程を含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセルの製造方法:
a)油相及び水相を有する水中油型エマルションであって、重合開始剤、フレグランスを含む香料組成物、乳化剤、及び請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の混合物を混合することにより得られる水中油型エマルションを提供する工程、
b)工程a)で得られた水中油型エマルション内で重合を誘発する工程;
c)重合を伝搬させてマイクロカプセルを得る工程。 - 摂取不可能な消費者製品、家庭用洗剤又は洗濯用製品、パーソナルケア製品又は化粧品である、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のマイクロカプセル、又は請求項13に記載の水性分散液を含む製品。
