Description

少なくとも、前記バルーンが前記膨張状態にあるときに、前記超音波伝達部材から前記バルーンに前記縦振動を伝達するように、前記超音波伝達部材と前記バルーンとに接続される少なくとも1つのワイヤと
を備える薬剤移送バルーンカテーテル。

遠位端と、少なくとも1つの内腔と、を有するカテーテル本体をさらに備え、
前記少なくとも1つの内腔は、前記カテーテル本体を通って長手方向に延在し、
前記カテーテル本体は、前記超音波伝達部材の少なくとも一部分を取り囲むとともに、前記バルーンと流体接続される
デバイス。

前記少なくとも1つのワイヤは、前記超音波伝達部材の第1の場所に接合される近位端と、前記超音波伝達部材の第2の場所に接合される遠位端と、を有しており、

前記超音波伝達部材に接続されるとともに前記バルーンの表面に接触する4本のワイヤを備える

前記超音波伝達部材に接続されるとともに前記バルーンの表面に接触する12本のワイヤを備える
デバイス。

形態1ないし形態5のいずれか一項に記載のデバイスであって、
前記少なくとも1つのワイヤは、前記バルーンの内面に接触する
デバイス。

形態1ないし形態5のいずれか一項に記載のデバイスであって、

前記超音波伝達部材に接続される少なくとも1つの支持ワイヤを有する、薬剤コーティングされたバルーンと
を備える薬剤移送デバイス。

前記超音波伝達部材は、前記薬剤コーティングされたバルーンを通って長手方向に延在する
デバイス。
[形態13]
血管での再狭窄を防止する方法であって、
少なくとも1つの薬剤でコーティングされた膨張可能なバルーンを遠位端に有する超音波デバイスを、前記血管の中央内腔内に位置決めする工程と、
前記バルーンを膨張させる工程と、
前記バルーンから前記薬剤を遊離させて該薬剤を前記血管の内部部分に移送するために、前記超音波デバイスの前記遠位端に振動を伝達する工程と
を備える、血管の再狭窄を防止する方法。

形態13に記載の方法であって、
前記膨張可能なバルーンは、少なくとも1つの内部ワイヤを備える
方法。

- 薬剤移送バルーンカテーテルであって、
発生器に接続されるように構成された近位端と、遠位端と、を有する超音波伝達部材を備え、
前記発生器は、前記超音波伝達部材に縦振動を提供するように構成され、
前記薬剤移送バルーンカテーテルは、さらに、
前記超音波伝達部材の前記遠位端に接続されるとともに、膨張状態と収縮状態との間を移動可能なバルーンと、
少なくとも、前記バルーンが前記膨張状態にあるときに、前記超音波伝達部材から前記バルーンに前記縦振動を伝達するように、前記超音波伝達部材と前記バルーンとに接続される少なくとも1つのワイヤと
を備える薬剤移送バルーンカテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載の薬剤移送バルーンカテーテルであって、
遠位端と、少なくとも1つの内腔と、を有するカテーテル本体をさらに備え、
前記少なくとも1つの内腔は、前記カテーテル本体を通って長手方向に延在し、
前記カテーテル本体は、前記超音波伝達部材の少なくとも一部分を取り囲むとともに、前記バルーンと流体接続される
薬剤移送バルーンカテーテル。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の薬剤移送バルーンカテーテルであって、
前記少なくとも1つのワイヤは、前記超音波伝達部材の第1の場所に接合される近位端と、前記超音波伝達部材の第2の場所に接合される遠位端と、を有しており、
前記第2の場所は、前記第1の場所から遠位側に離間されている

前記超音波伝達部材に接続されるとともに前記バルーンの表面に接触する12本のワイヤを備える

前記少なくとも1つのワイヤは、前記バルーンの内面に接触する
