Description
Claims (6)
- 粒径分布を有する耐火性充填剤と、
有機結合剤と、
無機結合剤と、
液状ビヒクルと、
を含む、複数の平行な通路を有するハニカム体に施用するための組成物において、
前記無機結合剤が、第1の粒径分布と該第1の粒径分布における中央粒径(D50)よりも大きい中央粒径(D50)を有する第2の粒径分布とを有する多分散コロイドシリカを含むことを特徴とする、組成物。 - 前記耐火性充填剤の中央粒径(D50)が10〜50マイクロメートルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記多分散コロイドシリカが、150m2/g以下の表面積を有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 前記無機結合剤が、ゲル化されていないコロイドシリカを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記第1の粒径分布が、10nmより大きく40nm未満のD50を有し、前記第2の粒径分布が、40nmより大きく300nm未満のD50を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 多孔性セラミック通路壁と境界を接する複数の平行な通路を有する多孔性セラミックハニカム体において、選択された通路が、前記通路壁に永久的に封止されるプラグを有し、前記プラグが、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を含んでなる、多孔性セラミックハニカム体。
