Description
Claims (7)
- 駆動力を受容する外周を備えたハウジングアセンブリと、カムシャフトに接続する回転子アセンブリと、前記ハウジング内に同軸に配置される複数のベーンとを備え、前記ハウジングアセンブリ及び前記回転子アセンブリは、ベーンにより、進角壁部を備えた進角チャンバと前記進角壁部と対向する遅角壁部を備えた遅角チャンバとに分離される少なくとも1つのチャンバを規定し、前記チャンバ内のベーンの動きは、制御バルブからの流体及びカムトルクで前記ハウジングアセンブリ及び前記回転子アセンブリの相対角度位置を移行させるよう作用する内燃機関の可変カムタイミング機構であって、
前記回転子アセンブリ又は前記ハウジングアセンブリの一方にスライド可能に配置される端部ロックピンを備え、前記端部ロックピンは、前記端部が前記回転子アセンブリ又は前記ハウジングアセンブリの他方の凹部に係合しないロック解除位置から端部が前記凹部に係合するロック位置に移動可能であり、ロック位置で前記ハウジングアセンブリ及び前記回転子アセンブリの相対角度位置をロックし、前記端部ロックピンは、ばねによって前記ロック解除位置に付勢され、
前記端部ロックピンの前記ロック位置は、前記ベーンが進角端部位置にある際、端部位置にあり、
前記制御バルブは、
流体が前記遅角チャンバに送られて前記端部ロックピンには送られないことで、前記端部ロックピンをばねによって前記ロック解除位置に移動させる遅角モードと、
流体が前記進角チャンバに送られ、前記流体が前記端部ロックピンを加圧して前記ロック位置に移動させる進角モードと、
流体が前記進角チャンバに送られ、前記端部ロックピンが前記ロック位置にある端部停止ロックモードとに移行可能な可変カム機構。 - 前記制御バルブは、内燃機関が停止−始動モードで停止されると前記端部停止ロックモードに移行し、前記ベーンが前記進角端部停止位置にある際、ロック位置に前記端部ロックピンがくるように、ECUによって作動される請求項1に記載の可変カム機構。
- 前記制御バルブは、可変力ソレノイドにより、前記進角モード、前記遅角モード、前記端部停止ロックモード、及び前記戻り止めモードの間で移行可能である請求項1に記載の可変カム機構。
- 前記端部ロックピンは前記ハウジングアセンブリ内にあり、前記凹部は前記回転子アセンブリ内にある請求項1に記載の可変カム機構。
- 前記端部ロックピンは前記回転子アセンブリ内にあり、前記凹部は前記ハウジングアセンブリ内にある請求項1に記載の可変カム機構。
- 前記端部ロックピンと流体連通する供給ライン内に設けられたチェックバルブをさらに備える請求項1に記載の可変カム機構。
- 前記端部停止ロックモードでは、前記ベーンが前記進角端部停止位置にある際、最進角
位置に前記機構をロックする請求項1に記載の可変カム機構。
