Claims (1)
- 吸気バルブの閉タイミングを変更可能な可変バルブタイミング機構、及び排気通路を流れる排気ガスの一部を吸気通路に還流させ得るEGR装置が付帯した内燃機関を制御するものであって、
EGRを実施しているときにアクセルペダルの踏込量が所定以下まで減少した場合、EGRを実施していないときアクセルペダルの踏込量が所定以下まで減少した場合と比較して、スロットルバルブの開度をより拡大させるとともに吸気バルブの閉タイミングをより遅角させて気筒の圧縮行程中にも吸気バルブが開いている期間を設ける過渡制御を行うこととし、
前記過渡制御では、スロットルバルブの開度をアクセルペダルの踏込量によらないある開度まで速やかに縮小しかつその開度を維持しながら、吸気バルブの閉タイミングをより遅角させて気筒の圧縮行程中にも吸気バルブが開いている期間を設ける内燃機関の制御装置。
