Description
実施の形態では、エンジンが始動すると故障診断を実施する場合について説明したが、これに限られない。例えば、ライトスイッチ17をオンにしたときに故障診断を実施してもよい。つまり、車両用灯具14への給電が開始されたときに、故障診断を実施すればよい。なお、例えば、車両灯具システム12が故障診断の実行指示を受け付けるスイッチを備え、そのスイッチをオンにしたときに故障診断を実施してもよい。
実施の形態では、車両用灯具14が3つのハイビーム用灯具ユニットを備える場合について説明したが、これに限られない。車両用灯具14は、複数のハイビーム用灯具ユニットを備えていればよく、2つまたは4つ以上のハイビーム用灯具ユニットを備えていてもよい。
実施の形態では特に言及しなかったが、各ハイビーム用灯具ユニットの光源40は、複数の個別光源により構成されていてもよい。この場合、水平一列に互いに隣接するよう複数の個別光源を配置してもよい。そして、各個別光源を、実質的に同時に点灯させても、時間差で点灯させてもよい。また、点消灯制御部54は、それら複数の個別光源のすべてを点灯させても、その一部だけを点灯させてもよい。
Claims (5)
- ハイビーム用配光パターンを形成可能な少なくとも1つの灯具ユニットと、
前記灯具ユニットの光軸を上下方向に変化させるレベリング手段と、
前記灯具ユニットの点消灯および前記レベリング手段を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
点灯指示の有無にかかわらず、前記レベリング手段により前記灯具ユニットの光軸を通常時よりも下方向に変化させた状態で前記灯具ユニットが所定時間点灯するよう制御し、
前記灯具ユニットに設けられた光源に最初に給電されたときに、前記灯具ユニットの初期位置を検出するために前記レベリング手段により前記灯具ユニットの光軸を通常時よりも下方向に変化させ、その状態で前記灯具ユニットが所定時間点灯するよう制御することを特徴とする車両灯具システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記灯具ユニットの光軸を通常時よりも下方向に変化させた状態で前記灯具ユニットを所定時間点灯させるとき、ハイビーム用配光パターンを形成するために前記灯具ユニットを点灯させるときよりも低い光度で前記灯具ユニットが点灯するよう制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両灯具システム。
- 前記灯具ユニットの点灯状態を検出することによって前記灯具ユニットを故障診断し、故障と診断された場合に、前記灯具ユニットが故障していることを示す信号を前記制御部に送る診断部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両灯具システム。
- 本車両灯具システムは、複数の前記灯具ユニットを備え、
前記制御部は、複数の前記灯具ユニットが時間差で点灯するよう制御することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の車両灯具システム。 - 前記制御部は、車両内側に位置する灯具ユニットから順に複数の前記灯具ユニットが点灯するよう制御することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両灯具システム。
