Claims (6)
- 圧縮エアを動力源とするエアモータ(3,33)と、
前記エアモータ(3,33)に回転自在に支持され先端が前記エアモータ(3,33)から前側に突出した中空な回転軸(5,35)と、
塗料または洗浄流体を供給するために前記回転軸(5,35)内を通って前記回転軸(5,35)の先端まで延びたフィードチューブ(6,36)と、
基端側が前記回転軸(5,35)の先端に取付けられる筒状の円筒部位(7A,37A)となると共に、該円筒部位(7A,37A)よりも前側がカップ状に拡開したカップ部位(7B,37B)となり、該カップ部位(7B,37B)の先端から塗料を噴霧する回転霧化頭(7,37)と、
前記回転霧化頭(7,37)の外周側に配置され、前記回転霧化頭(7,37)の霧化頭外周面(13,42)と環状隙間(20,49)をもって対面するリング内周面(17B,46B)を有すると共に、先端面(17A,46A)にシェーピングエアを噴出する多数個のシェーピングエア噴出孔(18,19,47,48)を有するシェーピングエアリング(15,44)と、
前記シェーピングエアリング(15,44)の前記リング内周面(17B,46B)に開口して設けられ、前記リング内周面(17B,46B)と前記回転霧化頭(7,37)の前記霧化頭外周面(13,42)との間に画成された前記環状隙間(20,49)にアシストエアを噴出するアシストエア噴出孔(21,50)とを備えてなる回転霧化頭型塗装機において、
前記回転霧化頭(7,37)には、前記フィードチューブ(6,36)から供給された前記洗浄流体を前記環状隙間(20,49)に流出させるために、前記霧化頭外周面(13,42)に開口した外周面洗浄通路(14,43,61)が設けられ、
前記外周面洗浄通路(14,43,61)の流出開口(14C1,43B,61A1)は、前記シェーピングエアリング(15,44)の先端よりも前記環状隙間(20,49)内に向けて後退した位置に設けられ、
かつ、前記外周面洗浄通路(14,43,61)の流出開口(14C1,43B,61A1)は、前記回転霧化頭(7,37)の前記霧化頭外周面(13,42)に対して鋭角となる角度(α1,α2,α3)で前記環状隙間(20,49)に開口していることを特徴とする回転霧化頭型塗装機。 - 前記フィードチューブ(6,36)は、軸中心に位置して前記塗料または前記洗浄流体が流通する内筒(6A,36A)と、該内筒(6A,36A)の外周側に位置して該内筒(6A,36A)との間を洗浄流体が流通する外筒(6B,36B)とにより2重管として構成され、
前記外周面洗浄通路(14,43,61)の流入開口(14A1,43A)は、前記フィードチューブ(6,36)の外筒(6B,36B)の先端部位(6B1,36B1)の近傍に開口してなる請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。 - 前記回転霧化頭(7,37)の前記霧化頭外周面(13,42)は、前記シェーピングエアリング(15,44)の前記リング内周面(17B,46B)との間の前記環状隙間(20,49)を小さな隙間寸法(G2,G3)をもってほぼ一定に保っている構成としてなる請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記フィードチューブ(6,36)は、軸中心に位置して前記塗料または前記洗浄流体が流通する内筒(6A,36A)と、該内筒(6A,36A)の外周側に位置すると共に該内筒(6A,36A)の先端よりも後退した位置に開口し、該内筒(6A,36A)との間を洗浄流体が流通する外筒(6B,36B)とにより2重管として形成され、
前記回転霧化頭(7,37)には、
前記フィードチューブ(6,36)の前記外筒(6B,36B)の先端部位(6B1,36B1)と対向する位置で径方向内側に突出した環状の洗浄流体隔壁(8J,38F)と、
前記洗浄流体隔壁(8J,38F)よりも前側で、かつ前記内筒(6A,36A)の突出部位(6A1,36A1)を取囲んだ位置で径方向内側に突出した環状の塗料隔壁(8K,38G)と、
前記塗料隔壁(8K,38G)よりも前側で前記カップ部位(7B,37B)のカップ状内周面(8L,38H)に位置し、外周側に塗料が流出するハブ塗料通路(10A,39A)を有するハブ部材(10,39)とが設けられ、
前記洗浄流体隔壁(8J,38F)と前記塗料隔壁(8K,38G)との間には、前記フィードチューブ(6,36)の前記外筒(6B,36B)から供給された洗浄流体を溜める洗浄流体溜り(11,40)が設けられ、
前記塗料隔壁(8K,38G)と前記ハブ部材(10,39)との間には、前記フィードチューブ(6,36)の前記内筒(6A,36A)から供給された塗料を溜める塗料溜り(12,41)が設けられ、
前記外周面洗浄通路(14,43,61)の流入開口(14A1,43A)は、前記回転霧化頭(7,37)の前記洗浄流体溜り(11,40)に開口してなる請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。 - 前記回転霧化頭(7)の前記霧化頭外周面(13)は、前記円筒部位(7A)の外周側に位置する円筒面(8C)と、前記カップ部位(7B)の外周側に位置する円錐面(8H)とにより形成され、
前記外周面洗浄通路(14)の流入開口(14A1)は、前記回転軸(5)の軸線(O1−O1)と直交し、かつ径方向内向きに開口され、
前記外周面洗浄通路(14)の流出開口(14C1)は、前記円錐面(8H)に位置して前記回転軸(5)の軸線(O1−O1)と直交し、かつ径方向外向きに開口され、
前記流出開口(14C1)と前記霧化頭外周面(13)の前記円錐面(8H)とのなす角度(α1)は鋭角としてなる請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。 - 前記回転霧化頭(37)の前記霧化頭外周面(42)は、前記円筒部位(37A)の外周側に位置する長尺円筒面(38C)と、前記カップ部位(37B)の外周側に位置する円錐面(38D)とにより形成され、
前記外周面洗浄通路(43)の流出開口(43B)は、前記回転軸(35)に対して前向きに傾斜した状態で前記長尺円筒面(38C)に開口する傾斜開口となり、
前記流出開口(43B)と前記霧化頭外周面(42)の前記長尺円筒面(38C)とのなす角度(α2)は鋭角としてなる請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
