Description
The present invention relates to a carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel plating film, a resin-molding fine mold provided with the plating film, and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, softening in a high temperature region (400 ° C. to 600 ° C.), When returning from a high temperature region to room temperature, carbon nanotubes having sufficient hardness at room temperature are uniformly dispersed, and a nickel plating film in which the crystal grains of the nickel matrix are extremely small immediately after plating, and the nickel plating film on the surface of the base material The present invention relates to a fine mold for resin molding in which a fine mold pattern is transferred to the nickel plating film by pressing a master mold having a fine pattern in the high temperature region, and a method for producing the fine mold.
In thermal nanoimprinting, which is softened by heating the resin sheet to the glass transition temperature or higher (200 ° C or lower) and pressed with a mold with fine irregularities (hereinafter referred to as fine mold), nanoscale press transfer is fine. Since the wear of the mold is severe, a simple technique for replicating the transfer mold from the master mold is required. Currently, a transfer mold made of nickel is obtained from a master mold such as silicon by electroforming. However, there are many problems such as long processing time and difficult management and peeling of the plating bath. ing. Further, in roll imprinting considering mass productivity, a fine pattern must be formed on a roll to be a mold, and therefore a method (for example, Patent Document 1) is taken to wind an electroformed transfer mold around a roll. However, there are many problems such as accuracy and joints.
On the other hand, a mold for a micro component including a metal having a high temperature softening property has been studied, and a method of creating a mold shape by transferring a fine pattern using a high temperature softening phenomenon (for example, Patent Document 2). is there. However, when a metal having a high temperature softening property is formed on a base material, a plurality of elements must be alloyed at a strict ratio by using sputtering, ion plating treatment, vapor deposition, CVD treatment, etc. It cannot be easily formed on the surface of an irregularly shaped base material by plating or the like. In addition, there are problems such as a high temperature range that exhibits high-temperature softening characteristics and difficulty in adapting to roll shapes.
Many studies have been made on alloy films, amorphous films, and fine crystal plating films by plating because of their functional manifestations. For example, in the electrolytic plating method, attempts are made to refine crystal grains by pulsing a current waveform. However, this method requires a special power source and has a disadvantage that the growth rate is slow. In the electroless plating method, the parent phase is refined and made amorphous by alloying the parent phase. However, this method still has a slow growth rate, a problem that cracks are generated due to internal stress, and a problem that a technique is required for managing the plating bath. Furthermore, nothing mentions the development of high temperature softening properties.

In the present invention, the “carbon nanotube” is a substance in which a six-membered ring network (graphene sheet) made of carbon has a single-layer or multilayer coaxial tube. When the nickel plating film contains carbon nanotubes, the hardness at room temperature is improved due to the effect of combining carbon nanotubes and the effect of refining nickel crystals.
FIG. 2 shows the temperature dependence of the hardness of a normal nickel plating film and a carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel plating film according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The hardness of both plating films decreases with increasing temperature. The reduction rate in the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel plating film is larger than that of a normal nickel plating film. Moreover, the hardness of the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel plating film at room temperature is three times higher than that of the normal coating. On the other hand, the hardness of the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel plating film at 300 ° C. or higher is lower than that of a normal nickel plating film and decreases to 50 HV or less. Therefore, it has good transferability at a high temperature, and when used in a mold, a fine pattern can be transferred with high accuracy.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment in which the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel
As shown in FIG. 3, the
In this embodiment, the plating film is formed on the
FIG. 5 shows the embodiment of FIG. 1 and the embodiment of FIG. 3 (including FIG. 4) and normal nickel plating film hardness at room temperature before heat treatment, hardness at 600 ° C., hardness when returned from 600 ° C. to room temperature. Indicates.
In both the embodiment of FIG. 1 and the embodiment of FIG. 3, the inclusion of carbon nanotubes increases the hardness at room temperature to 400 HV or more with respect to a normal nickel plating film, but at 600 ° C. The hardness is reduced to about 50% or less of a normal nickel plating film. By having such high temperature softening properties, both the embodiment of FIG. 1 and the embodiment of FIG. 3 have good transferability at high temperatures. Therefore, a fine pattern can be transferred with high accuracy at a high temperature.
On the other hand, when it returns from 600 degreeC to normal temperature (20 degreeC), the Example of FIG. 1 becomes the hardness equivalent to a normal nickel plating film, and has the same abrasion resistance as a normal nickel plating film. . The embodiment of FIG. 3 has a hardness that is at least three times that of a normal nickel plating film, and has high wear resistance when used in a resin mold.
FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating a method for manufacturing a fine mold for resin molding on a flat plate according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the first stage, the nanocarbon tube-containing fine
Next, as a second step, the blank mold is heated to 400 to 600 ° C. to soften the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal
In the manufacture of such a fine mold for resin molding, the pattern of the master mold is transferred in a state where the hardness of the
In the conventional manufacturing method, it is necessary to form a nickel layer by electroforming on a master mold produced by photolithography, cutting, or the like, and release the mold to form a resin mold. In this conventional method, it takes a long time to form a nickel layer by electroforming, and thus the cost is high. The manufacturing method according to the embodiment of the present invention can solve this problem.
FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a roll imprint manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As a first stage, a blank mold is manufactured by using a
Next, as a second stage, the blank mold is heated to 400 to 600 ° C. to soften the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal
In such molding, the pattern of the master mold is transferred in a state where the hardness of the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal
In the conventional method for producing a roll imprint mold, it is necessary to form a nickel layer by electroforming on a roll-shaped master mold, and after winding it around the roll, attach it to a roll to produce a resin mold. In this method, in addition to the problem of time and cost, there is a problem that the surface nickel layer can be joined. However, the above-described manufacturing method of the embodiment of the present invention can solve these problems.
D=0.94・λ/(βcosθ)・・・(1)
FIG. 8 shows the crystal size of a carbon nanotube composite nickel plating film formed using an ultrasonic wave in a nickel sulfamate plating bath having a carbon nanotube concentration of 0 to 5 g / l. The crystal size was calculated from the half value of the X-ray diffraction pattern using Scherrer's formula (1) shown by the following formula.
D = 0.94 · λ / (βcos θ) (1)
Here, D is the crystal size, λ is the X-ray wavelength, β is the half value of the diffraction peak, and θ is the black angle of the diffraction line.
The carbon nanotubes are multi-walled carbon nanotubes having an average diameter of 10 nm and a length of 0.1 to 10 μm. The plating bath temperature was 45 ° C., the current density was 5 A / dm 2 , and a horn-type ultrasonic disperser was used to form a film while always stirring ultrasonically to uniformly disperse the carbon nanotubes.
The crystal size is atomized compared to that of a normal nickel plating film by including carbon nanotubes.
It can be seen that the carbon nanotube concentration in the plating bath is 1 to 5 g / l, and the crystal size of the (111) and (200) planes is preferably 30 μm or less.
ここで、IF(hkl) は、(hkl)
I(hkl) 、I0(hkl) は、それぞれ(hkl)
FIG. 9 shows the orientation of the crystal orientation of the carbon nanotube-containing fine crystal nickel plating film formed under the plating conditions of FIG. 8 with different amounts of carbon nanotubes added to the plating bath. The crystal orientation of nickel as a parent phase was determined from Wilson's formula (2) shown below from the peak ratio of each crystal plane of an X-ray diffraction pattern (RINT2500V manufactured by Rijeka).
Where IF (hkl) is (hkl)
The orientation index of the surface is shown, and normal orientation is obtained when IF = 1, weak orientation when IF = 1 or less, and strong orientation when IF = 1 or more. I (hkl) and I0 (hkl) are respectively (hkl)
The measured value of the peak intensity of the surface and the literature value (peak intensity when not oriented, JCPDS card) are shown.
By adding the carbon nanotube, the columnar crystal having the (200) plane is changed to a random crystal. The crystal orientation of nickel is (200) orientation without addition of carbon nanotubes, shows the same orientation in the (111) plane and (200) plane at a carbon nanotube addition amount of 1-2 g / l, and the carbon nanotube addition amount is 5 g. The orientation was slightly on the (200) plane again at / l. It can be seen that nickel as a parent phase greatly changes the crystal structure by the addition of carbon nanotubes. Thus, by forming a random crystal having no orientation, it is possible to exhibit high-temperature softening properties and further good transferability of the master mold.
FIG. 10 shows a TEM photograph and electron beam diffraction of a carbon nanotube composite nickel plating film.
The crystal size of the alloy coating at room temperature was about 20 nm.
In order to precisely transfer the fine pattern of the master mold and to develop the high temperature softening property, the crystal size is required to be fine. In the present invention, it can be seen that the inclusion of carbon nanotubes makes the crystal finer and can meet the demands on the mold surface. And since it is film-forming of the composite plating film by direct current | flow electroplating, it is a technique which can form into a film faster than the crystal refinement | miniaturization technique by pulse plating or alloying.
