Description
本発明は、アリール又はヘテロアリール置換イミダゾリジン−2−カルコゲノン−4,5−ジチオン配位子とジチオレンとの特定の金属錯体の無色IR吸光剤としての使用に関する。本発明はまた、新規なジチオレン金属錯体、セキュリティ印刷とセキュリティ文書のための印刷インク配合物に関するものである。
無色、又は少なくとも殆ど着色されていない、IR吸光剤は、例えば、セキュリティ印刷(紙幣、クレジットカード、IDカード、パスポート等)、不可視及び/又はIR読み取り可能なバーコード、プラスチックのレーザー溶接、IR放射器を用いる表面コーティングの硬化、印刷物の乾燥及び硬化、紙又はプラスチック上へのトナーの定着、PDP用光学フィルター(プラズマディスプレイパネル)、レーザーマーキング、例えば、紙又はプラスチック、プラスチックプリフォームの加熱、熱シールド用途等の幅広い用途において、重要な技術的要求を満たす。
スキーム1
第1の態様では、本発明は、一般式(I)
MはNi、Pd、Ptであり、
X1及びX2は互いに独立して硫黄又は酸素であり、
R1、R2、R3、及びR4は非置換又は置換のアリール及び非置換又は置換のヘテロアリールから独立して選択される)
の化合物を、無色のIR吸光剤として用いる使用を提供する。
MはNi、Pd、Ptであり、
X1は酸素であり、
X2は硫黄又は酸素であり、
R1、R2、R3、及びR4は独立して非置換又は置換のアリール及び非置換又は置換のヘテロアリールから選択される)
の新規な化合物を提供する。
一般式(I)の化合物は、以下の有利な特性のうち少なくとも1つを有する:
− 薬品に対する堅牢度、特に、次亜塩素酸塩による漂白に対する堅牢度及び溶剤(例えば、トルエン、アセトン又はジクロロメタン)に対する堅牢度、
− 良好な沸騰水に対する堅牢度、
− 良好な光に対する堅牢度、
− 無色(即ち、VIS範囲のスペクトル(400〜700nm)で最小の吸光性)
− 良好な熱安定性、
− 多様な配合物、特に、セキュリティ印刷で使用される印刷インク配合物及びレーザー溶接に使用される熱可塑性ポリマー配合物との高い混和性。
の二置換イミダゾリジン−2,4,5−トリオンから得られる。好適な方法は、本願明細書に援用されたWO2008/086931号に記載されている。
a)上で定義された少なくとも1種の一般式(I)の化合物、
b)高分子結合剤、
c)溶剤、
d)任意に少なくとも1種の着色剤、及び
e)任意に少なくとも1種の更なる添加剤
を含む。
a)0.0001〜25質量%の少なくとも1種の一般式(I)の化合物、
b)5〜74質量%の少なくとも1種の高分子バインダー、
c)1〜94.9999質量%の少なくとも1種の溶剤、
d)0〜25質量%の少なくとも1種の着色剤、及び
e)0〜25質量%の少なくとも1種の更なる添加剤
を含有し、
その際、成分a)〜e)の合計は100%になる。
A)プラスチック部品を形成するのに適した熱可塑性マトリックスポリマー、
B)上で定義された、少なくとも1種の一般式(I)の化合物、
C)任意に少なくとも1種の更なる添加剤
を含む。
実施例A1(印刷)
11.9部の塩化ビニル、2.1部の酢酸ビニル、10部のエトキシプロパノール、75.5部のメチルエチルケトン及び1.0部の実施例1からの生成物を、スカンデックスミキサー内で、150gのガラスビーズと一緒に30分間振とうさせる。得られた印刷インクを、ドクターブレードを用いてコントラスト用紙に適用する(湿潤時の膜厚:6μm)。印刷物は、見た目には無色であるが、IR観察装置(IR-viewing device)(カットオフフィルター715nm)を用いると、IR範囲では明瞭に見ることができる。光堅牢度、薬品堅牢度及び溶媒堅牢度が優れていた。
実施例A1に示される通りに進行させるが、実施例5bからのIR吸収剤を用いることによって、同様に、IR観察装置を用いると赤外範囲で明瞭に見られる優れた光堅牢度を有する無色の印刷物が得られる。薬品や溶剤に対する耐性も優れている。
IR放射を吸収するオフセットインクを調製し、これは、固形分で2.5質量%の実施例1からの化合物を含有する。インクは、スリーロールミルで調製し、これは10質量パーセントの高い粘着性ワニス(CAS68458−35−5、アルキド樹脂)、86.5質量パーセントの市販のオフセットワニス、及び1質量パーセントの乾燥剤(CAS136−52−7;コバルトビス(2−エチルヘキサノエート)及びオレイン酸、CAS112−80−1に基づく)を含む。インクは、オフセット印刷装置で紙幣用紙に印刷される。印刷物は、見た目には殆ど無色であるが、IR観察装置(カットオフフィルター715nm)を用いると、IR範囲では明瞭に見ることができる。印刷物は、溶媒、酸、塩基、過酸化水素、次亜塩素酸塩、亜硫酸ナトリウム、沸騰水等の全ての種類に対して優れた光堅牢度及び非常に良好な耐性を示す。
実施例A3に示される通りに進行させるが、固形分で3.7質量%(分子量の関係について補正)の実施例5bからのIR吸収剤を用いることによって、同様に、IR観察装置を用いると赤外範囲で明瞭に見られる優れた光堅牢度を有する無色のオフセットプリントが得られる。溶剤、酸、塩基、過酸化水素、次亜塩素酸塩、亜硫酸ナトリウム、沸騰水等の全ての種類に対する耐性が良好である。
実施例A3に示される通りに進行させるが、固形分で2質量パーセント(分子量の関係について補正)の以下に示す構造を有するWO2008/086931号の実施例1からのIR吸収剤を用いることによって、同様に、IR観察装置を用いると赤外範囲で明瞭に見られる優れた光堅牢度を有する無色のオフセットプリントが得られる。

1:大きな変化;50%を上回る損傷
0:要素が消滅した
射出成形機を用いて、実施例1からのIR吸収剤を、2mmの厚さ(濃度:100ppm)を有するポリカーボネートディスクに組み込む。Nd:YAGレーザーを用いて、得られた、実質的に無色のディスクを、30ワットの電力及び20mm/sの前進速度で、IR吸収剤を含有しない第2の1mm厚さの純粋なポリカーボネートディスクに溶接する。得られた溶接物は、優れた結合、不変の透明性、溶融侵入(melt irruption)がないこと、及び気泡がないことを特徴とする。重い機械荷重の下では、ディスクの破損は、溶接された継ぎ目で生じない。
実施例A5に示される通りに進行させるが、実施例5bからのIR吸収剤を用いることによって、優れた溶接特性を有するほぼ無色のポリカーボネートディスクが同様に得られる。得られた溶接物は、不変の透明性を有し、その溶接は溶融侵入又は気泡が残存せず、且つ溶接物の強度が優れている。
実施例A5及びA6に示される通りに進行させるが、Nd:YAGレーザー(1064nm)を使用する代わりに、980nmの発光波長を有するダイオードレーザーを用いることによって、実施例A5及びA6に記載されたものに関して同等の良好な結果が得られる。
実施例A5及びA6に示される通りに進行させるが、Nd:YAGレーザー(1064nm)を使用する代わりに、940nmの発光波長を有するダイオードレーザーを用いることによって、80ワットのレーザー出力で比較的良好な溶接が得られる。
実施例A5に示される通りに進行させるが、1.5mmの厚さのポリプロピレンディスクを用いることによって、得られる溶接物も同様に非常に良好である。
Claims (12)
- 前記化合物が、前記式(1)の化合物である、請求項1に記載の使用。
- 少なくとも1種の請求項1又は2に規定の化合物及び少なくとも1種の請求項1に規定の化合物とは異なる更なるIR吸収剤を含む、混合物の形での、請求項1又は2に記載の使用。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の化合物又は請求項3に規定される化合物の混合物を、紙幣のセキュリティ印刷に用いる使用。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の化合物又は請求項3に規定される化合物の混合物を、得られる印刷物の堅牢特性を改善するために、セキュリティ印刷用の印刷インク配合物に用いる使用。
- 前記堅牢特性が、薬品、溶剤及び/又は沸騰水に対する堅牢度である、請求項5に記載の使用。
- セキュリティ印刷用の印刷インク配合物であって、
a)請求項1又は2に規定される少なくとも1種の化合物又は請求項3に規定される化合物の混合物、
b)ポリマー結合剤、
c)溶剤、
d)任意に少なくとも1種の着色剤、及び
e)任意に少なくとも1種の更なる添加剤
を含む、前記印刷インク配合物。 - 前記成分a)が、前記式(1)又は(37)の化合物である、請求項7に記載の印刷インク配合物。
- 請求項7又は8に記載の印刷インク配合物であって、
a)0.0001〜25質量%の少なくとも1種の請求項1又は2に規定の化合物、
b)5〜74質量%の少なくとも1種のポリマー結合剤、
c)1〜94.9999質量%の少なくとも1種の溶剤、
d)0〜25質量%の少なくとも1種の着色剤、及び
e)0〜25質量%の少なくとも1種の更なる添加剤、
を含み、
その際、成分a)〜e)の合計が100%になる、前記印刷インク配合物。 - 基材及び請求項1又は2に規定される少なくとも1種の化合物又は請求項3に規定される化合物の混合物を含む、セキュリティ文書。
- 請求項7〜9のいずれかに規定される印刷インク配合物を使用する、印刷プロセスによって得られる、セキュリティ文書。
- 紙幣、パスポート、小切手、証明書、IDカード又はトランザクションカード、切手及び税金ラベルから選択される、請求項10又は11に記載のセキュリティ文書。
