Description
即ち、本発明の搬送装置は、押出装置から湾曲させた状態で押し出したゴム部材を搬送するための搬送装置であって、
支柱と、螺旋状の搬送経路を構成するように前記支柱の周囲に螺旋状に並べて配置され、前記ゴム部材の下面を支持しながら回転する複数のローラと、を備え、
前記ローラは、軸方向の一端から他端に向かって外径が増大し、かつ、前記一端が前記支柱に回転可能に固定されており、
前記複数のローラは、回転駆動する駆動ローラを有することを特徴とする。
(1)本発明にかかる搬送装置において、図3に示すように、隣り合うローラ3の間にゴム部材11の内周側の移動を規制するガイドローラ8を備えることが好ましい。ガイドローラ8はフリーローラとなっている。ガイドローラ8は、ゴム部材11の内周側の移動を規制することができ、支柱2を中心とした螺旋状の搬送経路1aに沿ってゴム部材11を正確に搬送させることができる。また、ガイドローラ8は螺旋の径方向に移動可能に構成されており、押出装置10から押し出されたゴム部材11の曲率に応じて位置を調節することができる。

Claims (5)
- 押出装置から湾曲させた状態で押し出したゴム部材を搬送するための搬送装置であって、
支柱と、螺旋状の搬送経路を構成するように前記支柱の周囲に螺旋状に並べて配置され、前記ゴム部材の下面を支持しながら回転する複数のローラと、を備え、
前記ローラは、軸方向の一端から他端に向かって外径が増大し、かつ、前記一端が前記支柱に回転可能に固定されており、
前記複数のローラは、回転駆動する駆動ローラを有し、
隣り合う2つのローラの間に、前記ゴム部材を切断するカット手段が設けられ、
前記複数のローラは、前記カット手段よりも搬送方向上流側に、前記一端を支点として前記他端が上昇するフリーローラを有し、
前記フリーローラは、このフリーローラよりも搬送方向上流側の搬送速度に応じた上昇速度で上昇することを特徴とする搬送装置。 - 前記カット手段よりも搬送方向上流側及び下流側には、前記2つのローラとの間でゴム部材を挟持可能な2つの固定具が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の搬送装置。
- 請求項1に記載の搬送装置を用いて前記ゴム部材を搬送する搬送方法であって、
前記押出装置から湾曲させた状態で押し出した前記ゴム部材を、前記押出装置による押出速度と同じ第1の搬送速度で前記複数のローラにより搬送する工程と、
前記カット手段よりも搬送方向下流側の前記ゴム部材が所望の長さとなると、前記カット手段により前記ゴム部材を切断する工程と、を含み、
前記ゴム部材を切断する工程において、前記フリーローラよりも搬送方向下流側の前記ローラの回転を停止し、かつ前記フリーローラをこのフリーローラよりも搬送方向上流側の前記第1の搬送速度に応じた上昇速度で上昇させることを特徴とする搬送方法。 - 前記ゴム部材を切断する工程において、前記2つのローラと間で前記ゴム部材を挟持可能な2つの固定具によって、前記カット手段の搬送方向上流側及び下流側で前記ゴム部材を固定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の搬送方法。
- 前記ゴム部材を切断する工程の後、前記フリーローラよりも搬送方向下流側の前記ローラにより、前記第1の搬送速度よりも速い第2の搬送速度で前記ゴム部材を搬送するとともに、前記フリーローラを前記第2の搬送速度と前記第1の搬送速度との差に応じた下降速度で下降させることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の搬送方法。
