Claims (19)
- 正極、負極、及び前記正極と負極との間に介在した分離膜からなっており、電極タブがそれぞれの電極から突出して形成されている単位セルを2つ以上含む電極組立体であって、
前記単位セルは、平面を基準として高さ方向に積層されており、そのうちの少なくとも2つ以上の単位セルは、平面の大きさが互いに異なり、
前記単位セルは、電極タブが形成された一側面と接しない1つ以上の角部にラウンドコーナーが形成されており、
前記電極組立体がn個の単位セルを含んでいる場合、前記電極組立体の最上端に位置する第n単位セルの大きさは、前記第n単位セルに隣接する第n−1単位セルの大きさの1%超過〜100%未満であり、
前記第n単位セルの各ラウンドコーナーの曲率半径と前記第n−1単位セルの各ラウンドコーナーの曲率半径との最小差は、少なくとも1mmであり、
前記電極組立体の最下端に位置する第1単位セルの各ラウンドコーナーの曲率半径と前記第1単位セルに隣接する第2単位セルの各ラウンドコーナーの曲率半径との最小差は、少なくとも3mmであることを特徴とする、電極組立体。 - 前記ラウンドコーナーの曲率半径の最大の大きさは、単位セルのそれぞれの長さの50%の大きさであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記ラウンドコーナーの曲率半径は、単位セルのそれぞれの長さの5〜45%の大きさの範囲内であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第n単位セルの幅または長さと、前記第n−1単位セルの幅または長さとの最小の大きさの差は、0.5mmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第n単位セルの幅または長さと、前記第n−1単位セルの幅または長さとの最小の大きさの差は、1mmであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電極組立体。
- 最下端の第1単位セルの幅または長さと、前記第1単位セルに隣接する第2単位セルの幅または長さとの最小の大きさの差は、2mmであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電極組立体。
- 最下端の第1単位セルの幅または長さと、前記第1単位セルに隣接する第2単位セルの幅または長さとの最小の大きさの差は、3mmであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体がn個の単位セルを含んでいる場合、幅方向を基準として、電極タブと最上端の第n単位セルの両端との間の最小の大きさの間隔は4mmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体がn個の単位セルを含んでいる場合、幅方向を基準として、電極タブと最上端の第n単位セルの両端との間の最小の大きさの間隔は4.4mmであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電極組立体。
- 最下端の第1単位セル〜第n単位セルに隣接する第n−1単位セルの電極タブは、前記第n単位セルの電極タブと平面視で同じ位置に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電極組立体。
- 正極タブと負極タブとの間の最小の間隔は10mmであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電極組立体。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体が電池ケース内に内蔵されて電解質で含浸され、密封された構造からなる電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースは、樹脂層および金属層を含むラミネートシートの電池ケース、または金属缶であることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースには、前記電極組立体の外面形状に対応する内面構造を有する収納部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体における単位セルの電極タブは、1つの電極リードに結合されて電極端子を形成する構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極リードの幅は、前記電極タブの幅の50〜90%であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項12に記載の電池セルを単位電池として含んでいることを特徴とする電池パック。
- 請求項12に記載の電池セルを電源として含んでいるデバイス。
- 請求項17に記載の電池パックを電源として含んでいるデバイス。
