3.栓流反応器:反応熱は反応器壁によって除去され得る。
少量のポリエチレンが反応中に形成されるという事実によって、内部の熱交換表面はファウリングの傾向を示す。これは、必然的に、ごく非常に限られた稼働時間の、反応器の不安定および/または危険な運転につながってしまう。従って、かかる内部の熱交換表面は回避されるべきである。
これらの固形物質は、液状生成物中に溶解または懸濁されて、従って最終的には分離部まで渡され得、あるいは、反応器およびその周辺装置の内部表面に堆積し得る。後者は、反応器のファウリングおよび詰まりにつながり得るので、最悪の状況である。その結果として、反応器およびその附属装置は、堆積物を除去するために定期的にクリーニングされなければならない。これは、一度ならぬ運転停止、その結果として生産量低下につながってしまう。従って、生成物の流れ中に溶解または懸濁されるポリマーが好ましい。
a)エチレンと、溶媒と、触媒および助触媒を含む触媒組成物とを反応器内へ供給するステップと、
b)エチレンを反応器内においてオリゴマー化するステップと、
c)1‐ブテンを含む直鎖α‐オレフィンと、溶媒と、反応器流出物中に溶解した未消費のエチレンと、触媒組成物とを含む反応器流出物を、反応器から排出するステップと、
d)エチレンと1‐ブテンとをまとめて残りの反応器流出物から分離するステップと、
e)ステップd)において分離されたエチレンと1‐ブテンとの少なくとも一部を、反応器内へリサイクルするステップと、
を含む。
Claims (19)
- エチレンの3量体化または4量体化のための方法であって、
a)エチレンと、溶媒と、触媒および助触媒を含む触媒組成物とを、反応器内へ供給するステップと、
b)エチレンを前記反応器内においてオリゴマー化するステップと、
c)1‐ブテンを含む直鎖α‐オレフィンと、溶媒と、反応器流出物中に溶解した未消費のエチレンと、触媒組成物とを含む反応器流出物を、前記反応器から排出するステップと、
d)エチレンと1‐ブテンとをまとめて残りの反応器流出物から分離するステップと、
e)ステップd)において分離されたエチレンと1‐ブテンとの少なくとも一部を、前記反応器内へリサイクルするステップと、
を含み、
前記反応器内の1‐ブテンの量が、前記反応器内の液体の総重量に基づいて少なくとも1質量%である、方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
ステップe)のエチレンと1‐ブテンとのリサイクル流が、少なくとも部分的にパージ流によってパージされることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
反応器内の1‐ブテンの量が、前記反応器内の液体の総重量に基づいて少なくとも5質量%であることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法であって、
反応器内の1‐ブテンの量が、前記反応器内の液体の総重量に基づいて少なくとも10質量%であることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
1‐ブテンが、前記反応器内において、反応器内液の総重量に基づいて最大で30質量%存在することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
ステップb)が、温度10〜100℃、および/または圧力10〜100バールにおいて行われることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法であって、
ステップb)が、温度30〜70℃において行われることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
追加の1‐ブテンが、外部源から、3量体化または4量体化のための前記方法の最初の立ち上げ段階において、前記反応器内へ供給されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
ステップd)の分離が、ステップb)の反応圧力未満の圧力において行われることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
エチレンおよび1‐ブテンが前記反応器内へ液状でリサイクルされることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
オリゴマー化が3量体化であることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記触媒組成物が、
クロム化合物と、
一般構造(A)R1R2P‐N(R3)‐P(R4)‐N(R5)‐Hもしくは一般構造(B)R1R2P‐N(R3)‐P(R4)‐N(R5)‐PR6R7のリガンド(R1〜R7は、独立して、ハロゲン、アミノ、トリメチルシリル、C1〜C10アルキル、C6〜C20アリールから選択される)、または、構造(A)および構造(B)の任意の環状誘導体(前記PNPNユニットまたはPNPNPユニットのPまたはN原子の少なくとも1つは、環系の一員であり、前記環系は、構造(A)または構造(B)の構成化合物の1つ以上から、置換によって形成される)と、
を含む触媒を含む、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法であって、
前記クロム化合物が、Cr(II)またはCr(III)の有機または無機塩、配位錯体、および有機金属錯体から選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項13に記載の方法であって、
前記クロム化合物が、CrCl3(THF)3、Cr(III)アセチルアセトナート、Cr(III)オクタノアート、クロムヘキサカルボニル、Cr(III)2‐エチルヘキサノアート、ベンゼン(トリカルボニル)クロム、またはCr(III)クロリドから選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記助触媒が、トリメチルアルミニウム、トリエチルアルミニウム、トリイソプロピルアルミニウム、トリイソブチルアルミニウム、エチルアルミニウムセスキクロリド、ジエチルアルミニウムクロリド、エチルアルミニウムジクロリド、メチルアルミノキサン(MAO)、またはそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記触媒組成物が、さらに、有機または無機ハロゲン化物を含有する修飾剤を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記リガンドが、Ph2P‐N(iPr)‐P(Ph)‐N(iPr)‐H、Ph2P‐N(iPr)‐P(Ph)‐N(Ph)‐H、Ph2P‐N(iPr)‐P(Ph)‐N(tert‐ブチル)‐H、およびPh2P‐N(iPr)‐P(Ph)‐N(CH(CH3)(Ph))‐Hから選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記溶媒が、芳香族炭化水素、直鎖および環状脂肪族炭化水素、およびエーテルから選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、
前記溶媒が、トルエン、ベンゼン、エチルベンゼン、クメン、キシレン、メシチレン、ヘキサン、オクタン、シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、ジエチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン、およびそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする方法。
