Description
本発明は、プロセス制御及び監視システムに使用されるプロセス変量トランスミッタに関する。より具体的には、本発明は、センサにわたるEMF電圧の監視に関する。
差動電圧がプロセス変量に関する、センサのパラメータを計測するのに使用される。差動電圧の計測よりも先に、センサにわたる既存の電圧がストレージコンデンサにラッチされる。ストレージコンデンサにラッチされた電圧は、センサにわたる差動電圧から減算される。減算は、計測がデジタル値に変換される前に行なわれる。これにより、差動電圧の計測における不正確性を低減する。
図1は、工業プロセス制御システム5の簡略図である。図1では、プロセス配管7がプロセス流体を伝える。プロセス変量トランスミッタ10がプロセス配管7に接続するように構成される。トランスミッタ10は、プロセス変量センサ18を包含し、これは一つの態様では、抵抗温度デバイス又は他の温度センサを含む。しかしながら、これは単に例示的なものであり、センサ18は、流量センサ、pHセンサ、圧力センサなどを包含する任意の種々の他のセンサでもよい。
Claims (22)
- 検知されたプロセス変量を示す、センサからのセンサ信号を受信するアナログ・デジタル(A/D)変換器であって、前記センサ信号をデジタル信号に変換するA/D変換器と;
制御信号を前記センサに提供し、前記デジタル信号を受信し、前記デジタル信号を示す計測出力を提供するプロセッサと;
前記プロセッサが前記制御信号を前記センサに提供するよりも先に、前記センサからの既存の入力を受信し、前記既存の入力のレベルを示す検出信号を前記プロセッサに提供し、前記既存の入力を使用して前記センサ信号を補償し、補償された前記センサ信号を前記センサ信号として提供する、検出コンポーネントと、
を含む、
プロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記センサ信号が、前記検知されたプロセス変量を示す電圧を含み、
前記検出コンポーネントが、前記既存の入力を既存の電圧として受信する、
請求項1記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記プロセッサに制御可能に接続されており、前記制御信号を制御電流として前記センサに提供する電流源を、

請求項2記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記センサが、抵抗温度デバイスを含み、前記制御電流が、検知された温度を示す電圧を取得するために前記抵抗温度デバイスに印加される励磁電流を含む、
請求項3記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記検出コンポーネントが、前記既存の電圧を蓄える、
請求項3記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記検出コンポーネントが、前記A/D変換器が前記センサ信号を受信する前に、前記A/D変換器によって受信される前記センサ信号が補償されたセンサ信号を含むように、前記既存の電圧で補償する、
請求項5記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記検出コンポーネントが、前記センサ信号から前記既存の電圧を減算することによって、前記センサ信号を補償し、前記補償されたセンサ信号を取得する、
請求項6記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記減算が、ハードウェアコンポーネントによって実行される、
請求項7記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記検出コンポーネントが、ストレージコンデンサに前記既存の電圧を蓄え、前記ストレージコンデンサが、前記センサ信号から前記既存の電圧を減算するために、前記A/D変換器への入力に切り替えられる、
請求項8記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記A/D変換器が、A/D変換機構に接続された差動増幅器を包含し、前記検出コンポーネントが、前記差動増幅器への入力時に前記センサ信号を補償する、
請求項7記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記検出コンポーネントが、前記既存の電圧のレベルを示す前記検出信号を前記プロセッサに提供し、前記プロセッサが、前記既存の電圧が所定の閾値電圧を超えた場合の、前記既存の電圧が過剰であることを示す出力を提供する、
請求項10記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - 前記プロセッサが、制御ループを通じて前記出力を提供する、

請求項1記載のプロセス変量トランスミッタ。 - プロセス制御システムにおいてプロセス変量を検知するための方法であって、:
センサからの前記プロセス変量を示すセンサ信号を取得するための制御信号を、前記センサに提供する工程と;
前記センサ信号を、アナログ信号からデジタル信号に変換する工程と;
前記デジタル信号を示す出力をプロセス制御ループに提供する工程と;
前記制御信号を提供するよりも先に、前記センサにおける既存の信号レベルを検出する工程であって、前記既存の信号レベルは、前記制御信号を提供する前の前記センサにおける既存の電圧を含む工程と;
前記制御信号を提供した後であって、前記センサ信号を前記デジタル信号に変換する前に、前記既存の信号レベルで前記センサ信号を補償する工程と、
を含む、
方法。 - 前記既存の信号レベルが所定の閾値レベルを超えたか否かを検出する工程と;
超えた場合に、前記既存の信号レベルが前記所定の閾値レベルを超えたことを示す前記出力を前記プロセス制御ループに提供する工程と、
をさらに含む、
請求項17記載の方法。 - 前記センサが、抵抗性デバイスを含み、
前記制御信号の提供が:
励磁電流の前記抵抗性デバイスへの提供を含む、
請求項18記載の方法。 - 前記センサ信号の変換が、計測回路によって実行され、前記センサ信号が、センサ電圧を含み、
補償が:
前記励磁電流を提供するよりも先に、コンデンサに前記既存の電圧を蓄える工程と;
前記センサ電圧を前記デジタル信号に変換するよりも先に、前記センサ電圧から前記既存の電圧を減算するために、前記コンデンサを前記計測回路に切り替える工程と、
を含む、
請求項19記載の方法。 - プロセス変量を検知し、前記検知されたプロセス変量を示すアナログセンサ信号を提供するセンサであって、制御信号を受信し、前記制御信号に応答して前記アナログセンサ信号を出力するように制御可能な前記センサと;
前記センサからの前記アナログセンサ信号を受信するアナログ・デジタル(A/D)変換器であって、前記アナログセンサ信号をデジタル信号に変換する前記A/D変換器と;
前記A/D変換器に接続されており、前記制御信号を前記センサに提供し、前記デジタル信号を受信し、前記デジタル信号を示す計測出力を提供するプロセッサと;
前記プロセッサが前記制御信号を前記センサに提供するよりも先に、前記センサにおける既存の信号レベルを検出し、前記既存の信号レベルを示す検出信号を前記プロセッサに提供する検出コンポーネントであって、前記プロセッサが前記制御信号を前記センサに提供した後に、前記アナログセンサ信号を前記既存の信号レベルで補償する検出コンポーネントと、
を含む、プロセス変量トランスミッタと;
制御ループであって、前記プロセッサが、前記制御ループ上に前記計測出力を提供する制御ループと、
を含む、
プロセス制御システム。 - 前記センサが、温度センサを含み、前記制御信号が、前記温度センサのための励磁電流 を含む、
