Description
The present invention relates to a liquefied gas transport container and a method for cooling a radiation shield provided in the liquefied gas transport container.
In order to insulate the liquefied gas from the container that stores the cryogenic liquefied gas, the inner and outer tanks are vacuum insulated with a double structure of the inner tank that stores the liquefied gas and the outer tank that surrounds the inner tank. Structure is taken. Furthermore, a structure in which a radiation shield is attached to the outer surface of the inner tank is preferable in order to prevent radiation heat from entering from the outer tank to the inner tank and improve the heat insulation performance of the inner tank.
In addition, when such a liquefied gas storage container is used as a transport container, for example, in a transport container for land transportation by a container, in order to further improve the heat insulation performance, a system for further cooling the radiation shield is added to the above structure. It has a structure added between tanks.
As a system for cooling such a radiation shield, for example,
As described above, although a cooling system for a radiation shield that efficiently consumes a refrigerant has been proposed, both a reservoir tank and an accumulator tank are required, and the control mechanism and control operation thereof are complicated. Uncertainty is a concern.
The present invention controls without requiring electricity so that it can be applied to a combustible liquefied gas transport container, and has a simpler structure and can operate more reliably compared to the conventional cooling for a radiation shield. It is an object of the present invention to provide a liquefied gas transport container equipped with a system and a radiation shield cooling method.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is configured as follows.
That is, the transport container for liquefied gas in the first aspect of the present invention has a double shell structure of an inner tank and an outer tank for storing the liquefied gas, the area between the inner and outer tanks is made vacuum insulation, and the inner tank outside is formed by a radiation shield. A liquefied gas transport container, which is provided in a region between the inner and outer tanks, and further includes a radiation shield cooling system for supplying liquid nitrogen to the radiation shield, the radiation shield cooling system including the liquid nitrogen A liquid nitrogen tank that stores and communicates with the radiation shield at the bottom in the vertical direction, and a pressure management mechanism that supplies liquid nitrogen from the liquid nitrogen tank to the radiation shield, the pressure management mechanism comprising: In order to maintain a constant pressure at the bottom of the liquid nitrogen tank connected to the top and bottom of the nitrogen tank in the vertical direction, the pressure at the top of the liquid nitrogen tank The By automatically adjusting, and supplying liquid nitrogen to the radiation shield from the liquid nitrogen tank.
By configuring as described above, the pressure management mechanism manages the pressure at the bottom of the liquid nitrogen tank to a constant state, so that liquid nitrogen is transferred from the liquid nitrogen tank to the radiation shield so as to keep the cooling state of the radiation shield constant. Can be supplied. Therefore, it is possible to provide a liquefied gas transport container equipped with a radiation shield cooling system that can operate more reliably with a simpler structure than conventional ones.
Further, the cooling method of the radiation shield in the second aspect of the present invention is a double shell structure of the inner tank and the outer tank for storing the liquefied gas, the area between the inner and outer tanks is made vacuum insulation, and the outer shield is outside the inner tank The method of cooling the radiation shield in a liquefied gas transport container provided with a radiation shield cooling system provided in a region between the inner and outer tanks and supplying liquid nitrogen to the radiation shield, the radiation shield comprising: The cooling system includes a liquid nitrogen tank that stores the liquid nitrogen, and a pressure management mechanism that supplies the liquid nitrogen from the liquid nitrogen tank to the radiation shield, and is based on the pressure at the bottom of the liquid nitrogen tank in the vertical direction. In a state where the force exceeds a predetermined counter force applied by the pressure management mechanism, the top pressure is released to the atmosphere, while the force based on the bottom pressure is In the state below the resisting force, the upper pressure is not released to the atmosphere, and the upper pressure is adjusted so that the bottom pressure is maintained constant, thereby supplying liquid nitrogen from the liquid nitrogen tank to the radiation shield to emit radiation. The shield is cooled.
According to the transport container for liquefied gas and the radiation shield cooling method in the aspect of the present invention, the cooling state of the radiation shield can be kept stable without using electricity, and not only cargo (liquefied gas) but also refrigerant (liquid nitrogen) Is not wasted. The radiation shield cooling system has a simple structure as compared with the conventional one, and can more reliably cool the radiation shield of the liquefied gas transport container.
An embodiment of a liquefied gas transport container and a method for cooling a radiation shield provided in the liquefied gas transport container will be described below with reference to the drawings. In each figure, the same or similar components are denoted by the same reference numerals. In addition, in order to avoid the following description from becoming unnecessarily redundant and to facilitate understanding by those skilled in the art, a detailed description of already well-known matters and a duplicate description of substantially the same configuration may be omitted. . Further, the contents of the following description and the accompanying drawings are not intended to limit the subject matter described in the claims.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a liquefied gas transport container 100 in the present embodiment. The liquefied gas transport container 100 is a container used when transporting, for example, liquid helium, liquid hydrogen, liquefied natural gas (LNG) or the like as the liquefied
In order to insulate the liquefied
The
Furthermore, in order to prevent the radiant heat intrusion from the
In the present application, the “supply” of the

The radiation
The
The
More specifically, by supplying
Therefore, the heat input to the liquefied
Further, when the liquefied
The
For example, if the pressure of the
Hereinafter, a specific configuration of the
FIG. 2 (FIGS. 2A and 2B) is a conceptual diagram of a configuration example of the
The
The urging member 134 is a member that applies a force that suppresses the displacement of the
Therefore, a force obtained by multiplying the bottom pressure P2 by the area of the
In the
The
With this configuration, in the
Further, in the present embodiment, the
As described above, the
The operation of the liquefied gas transport container 100 having the above-described configuration, in particular, the operation of the
As already described, the
When the
As time elapses from the closing of the
When the force obtained by multiplying the bottom pressure P2 in the
By this opening, the upper pressure P1 in the
Steps S102 to S107 described above are repeated during transportation of the liquefied gas transport container 100. In addition, since the amount of liquid nitrogen in the

In the above-described embodiment, a spring is used as the urging member 134 that applies the counter force Fb to the
Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 4, an elastic member such as a rubber member is installed as the biasing member 134-2 in a region sandwiched between the
With reference to FIG. 5, the liquefied gas transport container 100-2 in the second embodiment will be described.
The liquefied gas transport container 100-2 is different from the liquefied gas transport container 100 described above only in the configuration of the
The second chamber 132-2 forms a body portion of the second chamber 132-2 and has a metal bellows 136 having elasticity along the
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the body portion of the second chamber 132-2 is composed of only the
The
By this opening operation, the upper pressure P1 in the
Such an operation of the pressure management mechanism 130-2 is repeated during transportation of the liquefied gas transport container 100-2. Therefore, it is possible to minimize the amount of evaporation of the liquefied
Further, in the transport container 100-2 for liquefied gas in the second embodiment, the use of the
In the above description, the transport containers 100 and 100-2 for liquefied gas have been described as transport containers. However, the transport containers are not limited to transport, and may be simply used as containers for storing and holding liquefied gas. It can be used.
