Claims (4)
- 一方向に沿って配設される複数の電池セルであって、各々の電池セルが、一対の幅広面と出力端子が設けられる封口面とを有する扁平な直方体形状の外装缶と、前記外装体の幅広面に面する平坦面を有する電極体と、を含んでおり、かつ、隣接する電池セルが、互いの幅広面を対向させる姿勢で配置されている、該複数の電池セルと、
それぞれが隣接する電池セルの間に配設される複数のセパレータであって、隣接する電池セルを絶縁する絶縁部と、前記幅広面の中央領域を押圧する押圧部と、を含んでおり、かつ、前記押圧部が、前記絶縁部よりも前記幅広面に向かって突出した形状に形成されており、かつ、前記幅広面の周縁領域と前記絶縁部の間に空隙を形成するための段差が、前記絶縁部と前記押圧部の間に設けている、該複数のセパレータと、
前記複数の電池セルの膨張を抑制するための締結部であって、前記複数の電池セル及び前記複数のセパレータを締結して前記複数の電池セルを加圧する締結具と、を備え、
前記押圧部は、前記封口面の法線方向における寸法が、前記封口面の法線方向における前記外装缶の寸法よりも小さく、かつ、前記封口面の法線方向における前記平坦面の寸法よりも大きく形成され、前記封口面の法線方向において、該押圧部の両端の間に前記平坦面が位置していることを特徴とする電源装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電源装置において、
前記絶縁部は、前記外装缶の前記封口面よりも上方に延設されることを特徴とする電源装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電源装置において、
各々の電池セルは、前記外装缶内の内圧が高くなった際に、前記出力端子と前記電極体とを電気的に遮断する電流遮断機構であって、前記封口面近傍に配置されている、該電流遮断機構を有する電源装置。 - 請求項3に記載の電源装置において、
前記押圧部は、前記封口面の法線方向における端部が、前記電流遮断機構が設けられる位置よりも前記幅広面の中央部側に位置していることを特徴とする電源装置。
