Description
The present invention relates to an in-vehicle charging system used for an electric vehicle such as an electric vehicle.
Generally, a vehicle is equipped with a low-voltage battery that outputs a voltage of about a dozen volts as an energy source for driving electrical components such as lamps, wipers, and ECUs. In addition, since an electric vehicle among vehicles travels using a drive motor (electric motor) instead of an internal combustion engine (engine) as a drive source, the energy source of the drive motor is higher than that of the low voltage battery. A high-voltage battery that outputs voltage is installed.
In general, an electric vehicle is equipped with a charger that charges a high-voltage battery using commercial power from a commercial power source connected through a household outlet, and when the commercial power source is connected, a relay or the like is used to start charging. The electric parts are operated to charge the high voltage battery by the charger and charge the low voltage battery.
By the way, an electrical component such as a relay that operates to start charging the battery operates using the low-voltage power of the low-voltage battery as an energy source in the same manner as in-vehicle electrical components. Therefore, when the electric vehicle is left without being charged for a long time, the remaining battery levels of both the high-voltage battery and the low-voltage battery may decrease due to natural discharge or the like, and each may not be able to supply sufficient power. . In this case, since the electrical components necessary for charging the battery do not operate, the high voltage battery and the low voltage battery cannot be normally charged.
Therefore, conventionally, a relay for selectively switching the battery to be charged by the charger between the low voltage battery and the high voltage battery is provided, and the battery charger of the low voltage battery is insufficient at the start of charging by the charger. A technology has been proposed in which a low-voltage battery is charged by a charger to a sufficient battery level to operate an electrical component for battery charging by switching the relay of the battery from a high-voltage battery to a low-voltage battery (for example, Patent Document 1). reference).
On the other hand, some power supply circuits that rectify commercial power and output a DC constant voltage have a PFC circuit (PFC: Power factor correction) that includes a choke coil for power factor correction. . In this type of power supply circuit, when the PFC circuit does not operate due to an abnormality or the like, a coil coupled to the choke coil of the PFC circuit is provided to prevent the output of a voltage that has not been improved in power factor. A technique is known in which inductive power is generated in a coil only when a circuit is operating, and an output voltage is generated using this inductive power (for example, Patent Document 2).
In the technique of Patent Document 1, since a relay for switching the charging destination of the charger between the high voltage battery and the low voltage battery is required, the cost becomes high. In addition to this, a DC-DC converter for charging a low-voltage battery must be installed, and a low-voltage battery can be charged from a charger. For example, a charging voltage or a sensor for detecting a charging current from a charger is required, which increases the cost.
On the other hand, based on the technique of
This invention is made in view of the situation mentioned above, and provides the vehicle-mounted charging system which can start charge reliably, even when the battery residual amount of a low voltage battery and a high voltage battery is insufficient. Objective.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an in-vehicle charging system for charging a first battery that supplies electric power to a vehicle drive motor and a second battery that supplies electric power to a vehicle electrical component. A first step-down circuit that generates a high-voltage charging voltage to be charged by stepping down a DC voltage converted from an external input voltage, a first step-down circuit control unit that controls the first step-down circuit, and the first step-down circuit A circuit , a second step-down circuit that is connected to the output side of the first battery and generates a low-voltage charging voltage for charging the second battery, and a second step-down circuit control unit that controls the second step-down circuit; the first step-down circuit, and is connected to the output side of the first battery, the first step-down circuit and, also operated by any of the output of the first battery, the first step-down circuit, and the first battery The first step-down circuit control unit converts the deviation of the output, and a first supply and the power conversion circuit which generates a power supply voltage of the second step-down circuit control unit, the activation power source to the first step-down circuit control unit a step-down circuit auxiliary power source, characterized by comprising a.
In the on-vehicle charging system according to the present invention, a start-up power source for the control unit of the PFC circuit is generated from a PFC circuit provided between the first step-down circuit and the external input and an induced voltage obtained by the external input. And an auxiliary power source for PFC supplied to the control unit of the PFC circuit.
According to the present invention, since the first step-down circuit auxiliary power supply for supplying the starting power to the first step-down circuit control unit is provided, the first step-down circuit auxiliary is provided regardless of the remaining battery levels of the first battery and the second battery. The first step-down circuit can be operated by operating the first step-down circuit controller by the power source of the power supply. Then, by the operation of the first step-down circuit, the power conversion circuit starts stable generation of the power supply to the first step-down circuit control unit, and the second step-down circuit starts generating the low-voltage charging voltage. Thus, charging of the first battery and the second battery is surely and normally started.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an electrical configuration of an in-vehicle charging system 1 according to this embodiment together with a drive system 5 of an electric vehicle.
The in-vehicle charging system 1 is a system that is mounted on an electric vehicle (not shown) and charges the high voltage battery 3 and the low voltage battery 4 included in the electric vehicle. The electric vehicle is a vehicle that travels using a

The
The flyback power supply 9 is a flyback type switching power supply. The flyback power supply 9 is configured as a DC-DC converter, converts the high-voltage power supply voltage V1 into power, and outputs a power supply voltage Va that drives the gate of the switching element of the inverter 7.
FIG. 2 is a circuit diagram of the flyback power supply 9.
As shown in the figure, the flyback power source 9 includes an

The inductive power generated in the
The flyback power source 9 has a
The supply voltage V ′ and the power supply voltage Vb will be described later.
In addition, the flyback power supply 9 includes a
The flyback power supply 9 has a power supply auxiliary power supply circuit 21 for generating the power supply voltage Vc required for the operation of the
Returning to FIG. 1, the in-vehicle charging system 1 is a system that charges the high voltage battery 3 using commercial power that is AC power, and charges the low voltage battery 4 in parallel with the charging of the high voltage battery 3. The commercial power is supplied to the in-vehicle charging system 1 from a

As shown in FIG. 1, the in-vehicle charging system 1 includes a
By the way, when the electric vehicle is not charged for a long period of time, the remaining battery level of the low voltage battery 4 and the high voltage battery 3 is insufficient with respect to the amount necessary to operate the electrical components. The low voltage battery 4 cannot be charged.
Therefore, the in-vehicle charging system 1 is configured to be able to charge normally even if the low-voltage battery 4 and the high-voltage battery 3 are short of remaining battery power. Describe.
As shown in FIG. 1, the in-vehicle charging system 1 includes a full-
The full-
The PFC circuit 32 is also called a power factor correction circuit, and the input current input from the full-
The
The PFC auxiliary
More specifically, the PFC
The
The first step-
The first step-down circuit control unit 44 performs PWM control of the switching operation of the MOSFET included in the first step-
Further, the first step-down circuit control unit 44 includes
However, while the flyback power supply 9 is stopped, the first step-down circuit control unit 44 does not operate because the power supply voltage Vb is not input. Therefore, even if the
Therefore, the in-vehicle charging system 1 generates the power supply voltage Vb from the commercial power of the
The first step-down circuit
That is, the first step-down circuit
With this configuration, the first step-down circuit
Therefore, even when the flyback power supply 9 does not operate and the power supply voltage Vb is not output, the first step-down circuit
During the charging operation of the in-vehicle charging system 1, the high voltage battery charging voltage V3 is output to the high voltage battery 3 and the high voltage battery 3 is charged. When the high voltage battery 3 is charged, the output of the high voltage battery 3 is also output to the low voltage battery 4 and the low voltage battery 4 is charged.
The configuration for charging the low voltage battery 4 will be described. The in-vehicle charging system 1 includes a second step-down circuit 60 and a second step-down circuit control unit 61.
The second step-down circuit 60 is a so-called DC-DC converter that converts the high-voltage power supply voltage V <b> 1, which is a DC output of the high-voltage battery 3, to generate a DC low-voltage battery charging voltage V <b> 2 of the low-voltage battery 4. Similar to the first step-
The second step-down circuit control unit 61 PWM-controls the switching operation of the MOSFET included in the second step-down circuit 60 and maintains the low-voltage battery charging voltage V2 constant. The
The second step-down circuit control unit 61 includes
That is, the flyback power supply 9 converts the high-voltage power supply voltage V1 of the high-voltage battery 3 and outputs the supply voltage V ′, whereby the
FIG. 3 is a flowchart of the charging operation of the in-vehicle charging system 1.
When the user connects a household outlet to the electric vehicle and connects the
On the other hand, the first step-down circuit
Here, the first step-down circuit
As described above, the high-voltage battery charging voltage V3 is output to the flyback power supply 9 in addition to the
In addition, with the start of the power conversion operation of the flyback power supply 9, the supply voltage V ′ to the second step-down circuit control unit 61 is generated, whereby the control operation of the second step-down circuit control unit 61 is performed. The second step-down voltage circuit 60 operates to charge the low voltage battery 4 (step S7).
Then, when the remaining battery level of the low voltage battery 4 reaches a predetermined amount, relay switching or the like is performed (step S8), and charging of the high voltage battery 3 included in the in-vehicle charging system 1 is started (step S9). . In the charging operation by this normal charging system, the first step-down circuit control unit 44 operates stably by the output of the flyback power supply 9 regardless of the power supply voltage Vb of the first step-down circuit
As described above, according to the present embodiment, since the first step-down circuit
The above-described embodiment is merely an example of the present invention, and can be arbitrarily modified and applied without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
