Description
The present invention relates to an optical scanning device and an image forming apparatus.
In general, an image forming apparatus having an optical scanning device for scanning and exposing an image carrier is known. The optical scanning device emits light corresponding to image data at a predetermined writing timing to expose the image carrier. However, the optical scanning device has a problem that the writing timing is shifted due to a temperature change inside the device, a positional shift of the constituent members, or the like.
An image forming apparatus such as a color printer forms a color toner image by superimposing a yellow toner image, a magenta toner image, a cyan toner image, and a black toner image. However, as described above, when a deviation occurs in the writing timing by the optical scanning device, a color deviation in which the superimposed toner images are shifted from each other occurs in the image forming apparatus.
On the other hand, in
However, in the configuration of
The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and an object of the present invention is to suitably suppress a deviation in writing timing by the optical scanning device while suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost.
An optical scanning device according to the present invention detects a light source, an optical member disposed in an optical path of light emitted from the light source and attached and fixed to a frame via an adhesive, and light from the optical member. When the light detection unit and the light detection unit detect light, the light emission from the light source is stopped and the light emission from the light source is stopped at the writing timing after a predetermined waiting time. A light source control unit that controls the light source so as to start emission of light corresponding to image data, a first storage unit that stores the amount of the adhesive, and a temperature detection unit that detects the temperature of the adhesive And a second storage unit that stores in advance the amount of change in the write timing with respect to the amount of the adhesive and the temperature change amount of the adhesive, and the amount of adhesive stored in the first storage unit And the above temperature detector Ri and the detected temperature of the adhesive, and a correction unit for correcting for changing only the waiting time variation of the write timing obtained from the data stored in the second storage unit.
According to this configuration, when the light detection unit detects light from the optical member, the light source control unit stops emission of light from the light source. Further, the light source control unit starts emission of light corresponding to the image data at a writing timing after a predetermined standby time from when emission of light from the light source is stopped.
Here, as a result of diligent research, the present inventor has found that the thermal expansion of the adhesive for fixing the optical member has a great influence on the deviation of the write timing, and has led to the present invention.
That is, in the above configuration, the amount of adhesive for fixing the optical member is stored in the first storage unit. In the second storage unit, the amount of change in writing timing with respect to the amount of adhesive and the amount of temperature change is stored in advance as data. Then, the temperature detection unit detects the temperature of the adhesive, and from the temperature of the adhesive, the amount of adhesive stored in the first storage unit, and the data stored in the second storage unit, The amount of change in the write timing is obtained. The correction unit performs correction to change the standby time of the light source by the change amount of the writing timing.
Therefore, since the time from when the light is emitted from the light source to the writing timing can be kept constant regardless of the amount and temperature of the adhesive, it is possible to suitably suppress the deviation of the writing timing by the optical scanning device. In addition, in the manufacturing process, it is not necessary to measure the amount of color misregistration while actually operating each image forming apparatus in which the optical scanning device is assembled, so that an increase in manufacturing cost can be greatly suppressed.
It is preferable that the light detection unit is a synchronization detection sensor that outputs a synchronization signal of writing timing, and the optical member is a synchronization detection mirror for allowing light from the light source to enter the synchronization detection sensor.
According to this configuration, although the position and angle of the synchronization detection mirror change due to the thermal expansion of the adhesive, the writing timing is appropriately corrected by the correction unit, and thus the deviation of the writing timing is suitably suppressed.
An image forming apparatus according to the present invention is an image forming apparatus including the optical scanning device, and includes a plurality of the light sources, and each of the light from the plurality of light sources is electrostatically written by the writing timing. A plurality of photoconductors on which latent images are formed are provided, and a color toner image is formed by superimposing toner images formed by developing electrostatic latent images on the plurality of photoconductors. .
According to this configuration, the electrostatic latent images are respectively formed on the plurality of photoconductors by writing the light of the plurality of light sources onto the plurality of photoconductors. At this time, the light source is controlled by the light source controller, so that the light from the light source is written on the photosensitive member at a predetermined writing timing. Thus, an electrostatic latent image is formed on each photoconductor. Further, each electrostatic latent image on the photoconductor is developed to form a plurality of toner images. A plurality of toner images are superimposed on each other to form a color toner image.
And the change of the write timing at that time from the temperature of the adhesive agent detected by the temperature detector, the amount of adhesive agent stored in the first storage unit, and the data stored in the second storage unit A quantity is obtained. The correction unit performs correction to change the standby time of the light source by the change amount of the writing timing.
Therefore, since the deviation of the writing timing by the optical scanning device is suitably suppressed, the color deviation of the formed image can be suppressed. In addition, in the manufacturing process, it is not necessary to measure the amount of color misregistration while actually operating each image forming apparatus, so that an increase in manufacturing cost can be suppressed.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the shift | offset | difference of the write timing by an optical scanning device can be suppressed, suppressing the raise in manufacturing cost.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to the following embodiment.

As shown in FIG. 1, the four
The

As shown in FIG. 1, the secondary transfer unit 9 has a

In the
Next, the
The
Inside the
In addition, the
The
Then, the
The
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the
As shown in the upper part of FIG. 5, first, the
Here, FIG. 6 schematically shows the
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the
The 1st memory |
The
The
In FIG. 7, a graph f <b> 1 whose plot is marked with ▼ indicates a case where the amount of the adhesive 49 is 2 mg. Further, a graph f2 in which the plot is marked with ● indicates a case where the amount of the adhesive 49 is 3 mg. A graph f3 in which the plot is marked with ◆ shows a case where the amount of the adhesive 49 is 4 mg. A graph f4 whose plot is marked with ■ shows a case where the amount of the adhesive 49 is 5 mg. A graph f5 in which the plot is indicated by ▲ indicates a case where the amount of the adhesive 49 is 6 mg. The
As shown in FIG. 7, when the amount of the adhesive 49 is constant, the change amount of the write timing increases as the temperature change amount of the adhesive 49 increases, and the write timing is gradually delayed. On the other hand, when the temperature change amount of the adhesive 49 is constant, the change amount of the write timing increases as the amount of the adhesive 49 increases, and the write timing is gradually delayed.
The
Here, the middle part of FIG. 5 shows an example in which correction by the
Furthermore, since the amount of the adhesive 49 that adheres the
For example, in FIG. 7, in the
In contrast, in the present embodiment, as shown in the lower part of FIG. 5, for each
Therefore, when the
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the time from when the light L1 is emitted from the
In the above embodiment, the
In this embodiment, a printer has been described as an example of an image forming apparatus. However, the image forming apparatus according to the present invention is not limited to this, and may be another image forming apparatus such as a copier or a multifunction peripheral.
As described above, the present invention is useful for an optical scanning device and an image forming apparatus.
